Oh, why must you write so well ? This was nothing short of poetry in prose.
I could totally picture Arnav and Khushi, enjoying their morning ritual, drenched in love and adoration and the feeling of being blessed. That husbandly pride he feels looking at her adorn herself as his wife - the heart smiles and cries a happy tear :)
There was Arnav's husky voice, with his quintessential "Tum thik ho?" Haye !
My favorite bit, however, was :
"Tumhe"
"Kyon"
"I love you"
And then I died.
That song you picked added this old world charm and innocence to it; love in its most pristine form. Rafi saab ki aawaaz kaanon me goonj rahi thi :)
The whole scene was so innately Indian, so homely - the saree, the sindoor, the kajal, the bangles - like she was the goddess and he the devotee. Lovely. I sometimes wonder if this could ever happen in reality ? The whole thing was more sensual and erotic and intimate than anything I can imagine would have happened on their "particularly amorous" night :)
Khushi's Arnavji humming Teri Bindiya Re would be a sight to watch. I for one would be giddy with joy.
Seriously, my mom who insists I should behave more "lady-like" should see me right now. She will be shocked to the bone - seeing her daughter blush like this, imagining things about married life. But when it comes to Arnavji, ...
