No—it's not like that—I shouldn't think like that—NO.

Jerking all the odd thoughts from his mind he again turned his concentration on his work after all he'd to complete all the pending work today itself ,there were some file work also had left. Who else would do his work? He shrugged breathing deeply.

She pressed the knob and slightly pushed the door knowing he would be busy in work, taking slow strides she went closer.

"ab ap kaisa mehsoos ker rahe hain?"

He looked up only to find her standing a few step away from his, "ab acha mehsoos ker raha hoon."moving his eyes quickly from her face that was showing so much concern that he wished for a moment to glue his eyes on her to get confirmation was it for him?

"achi baat hai"She smiled and then taking a one step closer to him she placed few files on his table.

"ye new project ke silsely main kuch kam pending tha us ki files hain---hum ne complete ker diya hai"

He lifted his eyes giving her a surprising look.

"How did you find these files?ap ko kaise pata chala ye pending work bohat ahem tha?"

She smiled slightly and then taking out the empty glasses and plates from the table she dropped her gaze at him, "wo kal ap ye sab files yehi table per hi bhool gaye the aur hum ne pardhhi toh pata chala kafi kam pending hai toh socha kam complete ker dain"

Her heart welcoming smile had touched the sensitive part of his heart and he couldn't help to stop his heart to get that warmth of her words—he'd not felt like this before or may be no one would ever try to make him feel like this-is it right to think like this or to take her concern so deeply? He thought shaking himself instantly..No—its not right, his mind had raised voice immediately and he masked his face with the stiffen, hard expressions, his brows knitted slightly sarcastically as he regarded her with seriousness, "I don't have habit to take others help..mujhe apna kam khud kerna pasand hai aur koi mera kam kare mujhe ye pasand nahi..lekin shayed ap doosroon ki feelings ki qadar nahi kerti is liye wo sab ker jati hain jo ap ko nahi kerna chahiye—ainda se ap is baat ka khayal rakhiye ga"

He'd seen the hurt look on her face and knew what he'd done,a momentary guilt touched his eyes as they met with hers, She licked her lips, trying to quell the rising panic and hardly could manage to speak with the slight shake of her lips, "I'll keep in mind in future"

She suppressed a slight smile holding her heavy lashes to keep the tears back in her eyes but he was quick to seen that—Didn't he was the one who have hurt her? Then why he felt guilty?

He gasped shrugging those thoughts roughly from his mind, she surged to her feet but it was looking almost impossible, holding the tray she took long strides slipping out the room, taking his eyes with her,

He thought he'd been knew this girls very well but this time she'd again proved him wrong—the girl who seemed so full of life, who had gut to talk to Mr.Mayank Malik confidently and had even gut to change his mind was a simple innocent girl—a fragile creature who seemed to appear like a hard stone but inside her heart she was like a rose—fragile-soft.

He felt numb himself for a moment—did his words hurt her deeply that bring out tears in her eyes?

He shuddered at the thought of her teary eyes. He swallowed the lump of guilt; eventually he felt the protective shell of roughness surrounding his face shattered and he confessed to himself that he was feeling guilty to talking with her so harshly.
