Kushi staggered as she walked out of the house. She couldn't bare it anymore. Betrayal.. was the only thing that she felt and it hurt like anything. The feelings she had for him was a tease, a time pass a mockery for the heartless beast. Why was he behind her? She wondered as tears fell from her eyes in hurt. Why wouldn't he just leave her? What had she done to him that he was hounding her like this, destroying her like this? She cried as memories of their togetherness flashed in her eyes. Tears clouded her vision as she walked aimlessly on the road.

Why she whispered to no one WHY she cried heartbroken hoping someone will give the answers. She remembered how her skin burned with want when he touched her. But now she realized all this was a dream a nightmare that would haunt her till the day she lived. Her heart squeezed in pain as she recollected the happy moments in the engagement. She was so close to tell him her feelings and now she realized what a mockery that man had made of it. She laughed bitterly at her stupid feelings... Love, she Kushi Kumari Gupta was in love with a heartless Jerk Singh Raizada... she yelled out loud.

She could feel something cold clutching her heart... she shivered. She wanted to do something, anything that would bring hurt and pain. She wanted to wip herself, make her bleed bring herself so much pain for falling for that man, for humiliating herself for degrading herself... she felt ashamed when she thought of the time when under the rain they had passionately kissed and she for the first time had known what a man's touch can do...

AAAHHH she yelled then cried as she face palmed herself... she slapped herself.. gadhi... stupid.. idiot... she cursed herself.. kyu??? Kyu??? She asked to no one particular...

She felt humiliated to think that those moments were nothing but play for him. Those moments of passion was time pass, another fling for him.. she couldn't take the pain.. She wanted it to end. Arnav was getting sick. Where the hell was Kushi? He was looking for her from the time Sheetal left. He understood one thing, before he proposed he needed to tell her everything. No relationship could be started with a lie. So for the past half hour, he was looking for her. Sheetal's words were also ringing in his mind as fear slowly unwind itself in his stomach. Did something happen to Kushi? Did Sheetal do something to her?? He was panicking. He left the house and asked the watchman. There he was informed that Kushi had left the house half hour ago. He got worried. Why the hell did she leave at this hour and that too alone?? He took his car and drove searching for her, praying that nothing bad should happen to her. But what he saw on the road made him freeze. He couldn't understand what was going on. What was wrong with Kushi? Why the hell was she behaving like this? He quickly got down from the car and ran towards her. By the time she could throw the next stone, he held her hand. Kushi he called

What do you think you are doing?? He asked in concern as he looked at her face...

Kushi turned around. First she was shocked but then anger and disgust took over her. She pulled her hand from his hold and pushed him. Picking her sari she ran from there, from him. Arnav stood there for few seconds not knowing what to do. He dint understand why she was running...

Arnav stood like a statue assessing what was going on. He was still passing the phase of her saying she hated him.

Understanding flooded his brain. She knows.. he thought. Sheetal's words and Kushi's actions and the pain her face was showing was enough to tell him that Kushi has come to know the truth in a way that he dint want her to know.

Arnav stood there... staring at his angel.. He had seen her cry before but never this broken. To know he was the reason for her present situation tore his heart open. Kushi had never asked him anything. If she wished him to stay away, if him staying away from her would keep her happy then that is what he would do. He would stay away from her. Her happiness was more important.

Kushi.. get up.. he told her.. We will talk when you are better. He told her in a flat voice

Kushi couldn't believe what she was hearing. How could he be like this? Heartless.. That is what he was. But she already knew it dint she? Getting up. She wiped her face and got into the car. Irrespective of what she did, she knew she had to go home now so it would be better to go with him.

Arnav and Kushi retired for the night. Kushi slept but Arnav was in his study. He was thinking of things he needed to do...

It was nearly one week after that day, and Kushi never spoke to Arnav in private. They behaved well in front of others but in the room they acted like strangers. Arnav hid in the study or in his office where as Kushi was busy applying for hospitals abroad. The next week bought good news for Kushi as she had gotten into her old hospital. When Arnav Came to know this, he knew it was time to say Good bye to her. Irrespective of how he would feel, he knew he couldn't bind Kushi here anymore.

He made few calls and got ready for another drama which would end all this forever...
