U make me feel so bad for fictitious character and make me cry for her as if she is real and that's the power of your writing... Nobody feels anything for her as if she is there to make them happy, nobody cares what she wants and her husband is too busy playing awesome threesome... This is what pain is and this is what cvs have failed to portray on screen bcz no matter how selfless a woman is she can't share her husband with anybody.

Oh my God... Such a powerful piece of writing. True, when people stop feeling other people's pain and starts to take others for granted, then no one can help those people.

It's funny, I read a lot of posts on how Arnav is a man who doesn't understand Khushi's pain because she never told her in blinking letters how upset and troubled she is.

And I wonder, do we condition women in India to keep their expectations at bottom level? To always think from a man's point of view? To always defend a man's action? And always blame a woman for not writing their pain in block letters with glittery pen?

Look at the western world. Women don't need to sacrifice there, they don't need to justify or defend a man's action. What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.

Because western world philosophy is "If you don't think about yourself, no one will. And if you are unhappy in your life and don't feel that you are getting the love, respect and honour you deserve, walk away."

But look what we tell our daughters, "You are a woman. You were born to sacrifice everything for others. If you get married, leave that home after you die. Keep working on a relationship that stopped working for you. But don't you dare come back."

Arnav is a man, hence he doesn't understand what is Khushi's pain in spite of her showing it through her body language, expression, pain-filled eyes and attitude. But we also have to believe that he doesn't realize how it looks to his wife when he spends every moment of his waking hour devoted to his ex's son who is his ditto replica which was pointed out by his entire family members numerous times including strangers, knowing that she did a DNA test because she suspects them to be father and son. That's also we will have to excuse because he is a man.

We also have to excuse that even though he knows how jealous he felt when NK used to pay attention to his wife and he was the one who explained that having his ex under the same roof as his wife will be awkward, he doesn't understand how his strange jovial guy behavior with his ex might look to his wife.

Oh sorry, I forgot. When it came to shouting at Khushi, Sheetal was his ex who will make the situation awkward, but when playing basketball with her to the point that he himself felt awkward once or twice, he was just an innocent man playing basketball with a friend.

It's really hard to understand why Khushi was looking at him like a frozen doll when he himself felt awkward with his ex. Because hey, everyone knows that Khushi brought her in, now if he chooses to ignore his wife to devote his attention exclusively to his ex and her son, then it's not his fault. He was just a poor man, victim of his circumstances.

Let's all applaud the man for coping with the "situations" he seems to fall in. The poor man deserves to be applauded because he is just a man and as the famous saying goes, "Men will be men."

Once we make up our minds about something, that is exactly how we look at things without acknowledging the other side. And, that is exactly what she is doing at the moment. She already made up her mind that someone like shit-all is a better match for Arnav than someone like her. So now whenever she sees them together, she always doubts herself. I wish Arnav makes her realize that because I can't see our Khushi like this. I die every time I see Khushi in this condition! But I'm glad that Arnav has started to notice things that he should have seen before. Now, I'm only waiting for the big confrontation!!! Please continue soon! :)

Arnav is really an a**le, isnt it? Strong words but they depict how angry I am with IPKKND and all that crap that they are showing right now :-((
Despite hearing the old man, despite figuring what might be bothering her, he still allowed Sheetal and Aarav to sit on either side of him and continue to be engrossed in what Sheetal was saying? Does he even love Khushi? He really does not deserve Khushi and I wish she would leave him and walk away. Let him stew and figure out how much he has hurt her and let him work hard at wooing her back.
And his completely moronic family? I cant understand how can they fawn so much over someone whom they barely know and ignore the fact that their newly wedded bahu is being left alone.. no one in the Raizada house has brains it appears!
Sorry the rant was intended more at the serial than the story but you hit the nail on the head! And this irritation is when I have not seen the serial for the last 3-4 weeks and only read the updates :-)))
Waiting to read the next part but please please dont let Arnav off the hook easily! He has some serious grovelling to do!

wow well said Tia!!!
I am speechless at the posts of 'he is a man, let us justify and excuse every folly and crime' syndrome!!

seriously though this mentality females r brought up in the eastern world where, 'even if it kills you never walk away from the marriage' mentality is sick! luckily this one is something I was never taught despite being a girl brought up in an eastern country..

but even i was always preached, 'u r a girl, so you have to be more lenient, not always go for what you want, not like your brother, yada yada'

anyway this gender discrimination and the way it is used to justify any act of a man is simply disgusting!:((

I wish Khushi leaves with her self respect intact!! stop allowing him taking her for granted. Not only that now a days it is downright cruel the way he deals with her..

anyway thanks yaar:-)
