She is definitely concerned for Lord Arnav right from his chilhood. We witnessed how she is unable to stop herself from extending a comforting hand to a perplexed Arnav when his parents got killed in front of his eyes. I believe she is making Lord Arnav go through all these pain and tribulations because she wants him to emerge out as a much better human being than just getting simply cured of the curse. Is this something to do with his past and his parents death mystery?

Im amazed at his will power even in his transformed state. I believe his love for his sister keeps him sane even in his beastly form. So true Lady Anjali said,

THE CURSE !! evry chp hs sumthg revealing n emphasized at..sumtms da events ,sumtmz da characters.. in dis vry chp da emphasis ws on lord's curse,i feel.. why am not considering khushi n anji part?

• khushi ws shown to b kind hearted frm da vry beginning..she's da same girl who cried fr silk worms[ cudnt help laugh at dat bit,whn i 1st read it😆] n da same girl who cried fr arnav afew days bk,coz he got hurt,altho she wsnt at fault.. thn hw cud she not gv him space in hr lap? esp,nw dat she hs strtd to feel fr him..
• whn lord made da wish fr his Di..da temple bell rang,if am not wrong..aftr a long time or sumthg.. we so knew dat vry instant dat her prayer ws answered.. so it ws only a matter of time,till it actually happened..

so dat leaves u wth da curse! i thnk.. da chp ws absolutely crucial fr da story coz of two reasons..

• it told of da power of da curse n da intensity of its effects on its bearer! whn v say ''what is da curse'' v also wonder ''why is da curse?'' ..so what is bcoz of why.. a why dat is sketchy ryt nw so wont touch dat.. bt da ''what'' is so powerful dat it causes him pain..intense pain..emotional n physical.. da key words in da chp wr..

1.arrogance.. power..influence.. mighty..rage..
Versus
2.helplessness..weakness..frailty..pain..
Now,a man dat hates being 2. bt is forced to b 2,no mater hw hard he tries to b 1.. imagine hw painful it must b fr him? wt amount of bitterness must reside within him.. dats what da curse is abt! whn she said;
