Everyone writes an FF on ArHi. I wrote one too. A huge one, promising to go almost beyond 300 chapters. What am I doing? Recreating IPKKND plot in a different setting with a different twists to the tale. The tale begins and initially proceeds the way the show did, but I have changes charted out and the future of this tale is in my hands. Well, actually not in mine but in the hands of the Dark Lady in the Hood. About whom you will learn more as the tale proceeds…….
This FF stems from my love for fantasies and the tale is a rewriting of the original plot of our dear show with my eye for better prospects. Where it concerns relationships, justification of characters and righteous end for actions of a character: this is where I give vital importance. There are good and sad differences between the tale and the show: Like I said, Arnav and Anjali are not diabetic or crippled. Garmia and Shashi do not have "blood" or "past" relations with Kushi. Unwanted characters are avoided and essential characters are present or their essences are transferred to other characters. Every character is important for the central plot of the story. And yes, there is a psychological bend to every action and word, and deeper symbolic layers to the expressions in the tale.
Arhasia is a land that was once inhabited by the Greeks and so most of the festivals and rituals held here are of Greek inclination though the pole migrated to this land are Indians with medieval English countryside bearings, owing to the hints of colonization. The Story Behind The Story…….That's how I began my Reader Surprises and that is how I made my readers part of the world I created. It is assumed (and strictly according to us, it actually is) that we are regular and irregular travellers to an Inn in Arhasia where I come to narrate the tale I am told every week or so by a secretive Lady in the Dark Hood who confines herself in a room in an Inn elsewhere (and who likes to drink warm milk for reasons I am unaware of). This tale of Lord Arnav, his sad-eyed sister and the elated village girl Kushi happens to the personal favourite of the Lady in the Dark Hood which is why she uses me to tell this to those who choose to listen to my tale. My PMs are actually messages via pigeons to my dear readers and Comrades (who, by their oath, have their names permanently etched on the parchment and, thereby, on my young heart). And then, as the story behind the story proceeds, one fine day, Captain Responsibility and his band of men come searching for the "story teller" aka "me" and well, I would have had to drop the idea of completing the narration of the tale to my eager Comrades and visitors, had it not been for the dear InnKeeper's offer of his secret Cave for our purpose. And it is in this Cave we gather together, to lose ourselves in a chapter or two, over our favourite drinks. And at the end of my narration, the dear-hearted leave their thoughts behind on the Book of the Comrades' Chronicles. Long story short, that is.
