For the life of me I cannot figure out the lie. I am just gonna make a lame attempt at it,anyway. So first guess is that he lied about not having family. Now that was pretty easy to guess so I want to skip it, for you my lady don't hand out things so easily.

The second guess is about him coming to meet her in the middle of the night. There could be more to it than just that. He had transformed into that thing and must be running from something. Also which General doesn't have his horse with him at all times? That was unsettling too.

Now I am done with lame guesses and moving on with the rest of the update.
Khushi feeling bad about rejecting Shyam's proposal, like she said she can't tolerate to be the reason behind one's pain. Isn't thats what's exactly happened when Arnav got hurt? I admire you for maintaining consistency with your characters.

The scene with babuji was so heart warming. A child is never too old for parents.

P.S- for a silly moment, I thought it's Arnav who came to visit her. My silly heart.

i have one question to u, i read ur update, and i must tell u the Shyam u have potrayed is definitely different from THE IPKKND, well coming to the point...i don't understand one thing, if it is known that Khushi brings out the beast in him and she is the reason that it resurfaced in him and he acknowledges it as a curse...then why is it that he requires her...wouldn't it be safe for him to stay away from her and not offer her a companionship...bcoz in this matter arnav is totally different he wants the beast in him to completely die-sort of and khushi helps him in that and he is also trying...but shyam is like loving-the-beast-way, i guess...

And why was it so imp to shyam to meet her in the middle-no-dead of the night to get answer from her...

i guess the other lie he told her is abt companionship...may be their is more to his mystery then u r actually writing abt...

Sincerely appreciate ur efforts that gives us a picture of medival times luv the way u write the ff with lot of hidden secrets that is the curses and all ur ff is totally adorable

This FF is so dear to my heart that I cannot imagine it ending at this stage.
Now coming to the update this Shyam seems more dangerous than the one in IPK.Was the thing that he told that he never had a family was the other lie? I am not sure.
Now what will be his next move that Khushi has refuted his advances?
Khushis father seems to have an inkling of Khushis state of mind after meeting a particular man though he does not know him.He will be the one who will support her through all the situations however bad they are.But I hope Shyam does not succeed in hurting him because I have always loved to see the strong protective father fight for Khushi when every thing goes against Khushi which unfortunately IPK could not give us:)
