Game of Fate
That was the game of our fates or result of my constant desire to reach at that hight at which Bhushan corp.was at my father's time;I dont know but it happened.My father,the man had devoted his whole life to establish bhushan corp and making it a successful business.The luxury and comfort which I excersised since birth was all because of him and my mothers constant devotions.
But my fate had planned somethings different for me...it had planned to change my life completely.Or I can say that my desire led me a wrong path.I lost my values somewhere in the way.
That was the day when I invited Mr.Nath for a cup of coffee...

I was desperately waiting for Nath not because I had something to do with his company but because I had taken it as a way to impress him.It was a golden chance to make him happy..so happy that he would flatter and make bhushan corp.his partner in business.
But I was at the same time feeling disgusting too...how would I do all those slugish cheap flattery tricks with a man of my fathers age...!He would surely be 60 plus!!But Those all thoughts,I pushed them away thinking that it would give me the best revenue.So the man arrived of about 45 minutes later than the scheduled time yet I welcomed him with a cheerful smile which ofcourse was as artificial as my apparent excitement to see him!
"Hello Mr.Nath!I was waiting for you."I said showing him the way to come in.
He laughed ,"Sorry for being late Ms.Bhushan...work you know..."and he showed his all teeth.
Yuck!!! I thought "such an ugly man"yet I maintained the smile it is very important I tell you.
"Its okay Mr.Nath!" and I offered him to sit on couch.I was alone in the home,I puposely sent all servants outside and chose a time when my mother would visit temple.
He looked at the beautiful interior of drawing room and then feeling the silence he asked,"I guess no one is in the house..."
"Yeahh..actually servants are on leave...we gave them leave on second sunday of each month and my mother is at my cousin's place.." I but offcourse lied.
"Ohh..that's nice!"he said.
I still don know what was so nice about it...that we give servants a leave on second sunday of each month or my being alone that day!!!
So after some general talks we started discussing on business and some new market issues which ultimately turned into me offering him a deal on behalf of bhushan corp.
"O'c'mom dhanjeet u can't deny that its a good offer for both of us.."I smirked.
From past 2 hours we had talked so much that we started feeling comfortable in calling each other by first names...I purposely made that to happen.
He smiled and his smile was as miserable as he was yet I tolerated.
"But Ms.Bhushan we have already in contract with VIOS bros for supplying us raw material..then why would we break it..they are doing good so far..!"he said.
"I think its the time to change Dhanjeet...they must have been offering good quality material but together we can lead a successful business in chemicals too..."I instantly gave him another offer.
That made him to think.I took advantage and added,"And I think this would a right beginning of a new 'Relation' of Bhushans and urs..."I smirked and so was he.
"Okay I'll call a board of directors meeting and would inform you...you prepare your presentation and if they would agree..then we will be doing business together..."
That was it!!!I did it!!!
I was so happy on my victory that I would had started dancing if he would'nt said,"I would have a meeting with Mr.Sharma regarding this."
"Shehhh!!!"I criticized myself for being so optimistic.

It was 3 months working with Nath...everything was working fine untill that day when he called a meeting that too with the subject "urgent" in his mail.
I rushed to the conference hall and when I reached I was a bit confused,it was a meeting among only 3 people he me and Mayank Sharma.
And as obvious I lost my half senses seeing him just two chairs away from me greeting me with a smile...I was almost dead...O Man!! freaking awesome!!! I cursed my sixth sense for not giving me any clue of his presence this time as if it would had given I would'nt had done that silly thing which I did .
He greeted me and I so lost was only standing and staring at him..not believing on my luck...as if I am in some dream world...stupid me!!!
Seeing the situation Nath started a bit loud,
"Have a seat Ms.bhushan!"
And I, ashamed sat quietly still unable to take my eyes off from him.
Nath started,"It is a very confidential matter so I am going to disclose in front of only two of you...the last merger which we did with Amure Internationals has proved to be unsuccessful as the company did't do well...so we..particularly my company is suffering from a loss of about 50 crores INR..."
My head rolled..."OMG!!!Did I join a trembling boat...!!!No..It can't happen!!!" thought ran a shiver in my body.
"So to overcome it,I am going to start a project in a joint venture...it is 100 crore project for which we all have to work together...as bhushans will provide us raw material as the cost they have mentioned in tender statement and Sharma's will be handling designing part of cloths..."
The meeting went on to 3 hours and I did a lot of brainstorming on it..should I take my offer back but it would not sound good after all goodwill is an asset!But just for the sake of goodwill how can I join a venture whose future is uncertain...but then uncertainity is the constant law of business..!!!
Lots of questions arose and I only the one asking those questions as well as answering...
But why to take risk???
Because to gain someting we have to take some risk!!!
Gain what???
Ofcourse goodwill,profit if it proved to be successfull!
And if not then???
But why not...!!!
Is that the only reason???Don't tell me you want to work with Mayank???
As I read Mayank in my mind my cheeks turned red..."Yes me and Mayank...will work together...my dream will come true...!
So finally in the battle of mind with mind,it was my heart who won and I accepted the proposal!
