The Note Game...!
People say that attraction is the beginning for a relationship...I guess yes but then there is a lot more to actually fall in love.
We both had signed and accepted the proposal...it was the beginning of our professional relationship.Many a times we interacted in meetings or discussion but that was all limited to professional conversations only.
It was Mr. and Mrs.Nath's 25th marriage anniversary and like other elite class couple they threw a grand party and we all were invited.I was getting ready for the party and confused as always as what to wear. It was hell difficult for me chose a proper dress...I was throwing cloths on bed just then my mother came...
"Nupur!!!what are you doing?"She asked a bit loud.
"I am not getting what to wear.."I said slamming the door of cupboard.
She smiled but it was more to tease me,"Why??anyone special is coming??"she chuckled.
"Mom!!!Please!!!"I protested.
She decided not to stretch it more,"Ok...I'll tell you..."and she quickly started checking all the dresses and picked a light Red dress,"I think this will suit you..."
I looked at it..a long dress of chiffon having embroidery of stones in neck..."Wow!! how come Mom..."I
was amazed at my mother's choice.She solved it in less than 2 minutes.
I quickly wore that dress with matching accessories...looking at the mirror I was amazed...I dont look bad..infact I look good..its just I dont pay attention on looks...but from now I will..I decided.

"Lem'me guess...RK???"diya asked with a grin.She thought I have dressed so properly because someone special is coming in the party and to impress him I put an extra effort.
I looked at her in disbelief.."C'mom..u noe I would never have a crush on film stars...they are useless creatures..."
"Then who????"she almost screamed.
I winked and she now understood,"you mean...you mean MAYANK SHARMA!!!" she jumped like a kid who has just discovered a chocolate in his bag.
"OMG!!!I never knew that you have a crush on him..."she said her eyes popping out.
I smiled,"You know he's not only my crush rather an inspiration..I would like to be as successful as him...as easy in making crucial decisions as him...I want to be like him.."I was saying in my flow when she interrupted me indicating to my back.
I turned and found a waiter standing there having a plate full of soft drinks...
"Maa'm !!"he said politely and gestured in 'would you like a drink?'
I simply ignored him but then he kept on standing there.That tickled my nervous,"WHAT!!!"I exclaimed in annoyance.
"Maa'm" he handed me a note and moved without waiting for my reaction.
I was a bit stunned and looked a Diya..she shrugged her shoulders and asked me to open it.
I opened it,it had written
"Come to the lobby in 5 minutes(ALONE),find something in first flower pot on your left!Do if you do not afraid of loosing anything,leave it otherwise!"
"What The!!!"I looked at Diya..she too was surprised on this kind of stupid note.It had no name written...we did not know who had sent it then how can I suppose to follow this nonsense!!!
"Who has sent it?"asked Diya.
"God knows.."I said.
"Then are you going?"she asked all confused.
"Are you mad???" I was about to throw it when a part of me stopped me..."C'mon Nupur it'll be fun...don't you want to know who sent it???It will be adventurous..." and I started thinking over it...
"I think...I should go.."I declared.
"WHAT!!!"Diya was shocked to hear it.
"Yeah...I want to know who is this.."I said.
"But it can be dangerous...it can be some trap..."said Diya concerned.
"See I know that you are concerned but I think whatever it is,I should check it out...and If I would be trapped then you are here to save me..."I said smiling to reduce her worry.
She nodded.
I took a deep breath and headed to the lobby...it was on the right side of the hall where the party was going on.Unlike hall it was all empty,no one was there and it was all silence...for a moment I felt a kind of fear but then my curiosity to know the person made me to move on.
As said in the note,I found another note in first flower pot on left side of lobby...It had written,
"Come to the poolside garden in next 3 minutes,you will find next clue in changing room no.3"
Again no sender name...I felt annoyed...after gathering so much courage I came here and now another clue...but I won't give up.
In next 3 minutes I was in pool side garden changing room no.3...I found another note in the key hole of lock.It had written,
"Bravo!!! now come to the terrace in next 7 minutes and you will find ,you really wish for!!!"
No sender name off course!
I huffed but then it was the end...I will come to know what was it for in next 7 minutes so I almost ran towards terrace.Although one part of mind was almost screaming to GO back in fear of some trap but then my sixth sense was saying that it can not be a trap and I'll find something really wonderful there.
I went to terrace...I was all bright due to moonlit night...everything was clearly visible...I could see the beautiful terrace garden...I could see the greenery in silver light...it was beautiful so beautiful...it was giving me another kind of peace...I was lost in for a while when I heard footsteps coming towards me...with each passing second they were more clear and I could figure out that the sound
was coming from my back...my heart was pumping fast...I squeezed my eyes with unknown fear...I was frightened,nervous,excited all at the same time...after few more seconds footsteps became so clear and stopped suddenly...I knew...I knew the person was right behind me...I wanted to turn back but then I don't want to spoil all excitement so with bated breath I did'nt turn...I kept my fingers crossed...kept praying in my heart for safety of my life...for not loosing my life because of my stupidity...yes at that time I was feeling it my stupidity to run behind all notes and coming here.!
After few more breaths a voice broke the silence,
"Nupur.!"
And I opened my eyes in a big surprise,yes I can recognize his voice..OMG!!!OMG!!! he was none other than MAYANK SHARMA!!!
In a whirl I turned back with my eyes popped out in surprise,holding my cheeks with hands with mouth widely open...I was feeling like I was in a dream...the most beautiful dream I could ever see...he was in front of me under the beautiful night sky...O'Lord!I could have sacrificed my everything for this moment to come true...
He only spoke again,"I hope you liked the way I called you here..."he smiled.
GOSH!!! I was all lost...could'nt whisper a 'yes'
"Well...the thing is that I wanted to make my first date as memorable that we both will never forget"
I shook my head...What!!! What did he just say,DATE!!!Ohh MAN!!! you are kidding me right??? I asked to
my mind who was thinking too much...it can't be true...it just can't!!!
"Sooo do you like it nupur?"he asked.
Like it...are you kidding me??? I would have loved it if it was true but I know its all in you...Ohh c'mon now stop dreaming so much!!! I scolded my mind for imaging so much...now c'mon be back in real world...fast!!!
"Are you fine nupur!"he again said.
hahaha..now that's enough...be back in real world c'mon...you reckless horse!!!I again scolded my mind and closed my eyes so that it would be easy for it to bring me back in real world where there would be no mayank sharma standing on terrace with me...and when I would open my eyes I would be in party surrounded with funny people...
After taking few deep breaths I opened my eyes in a hope that everything will be fine...but when I opened it was another shock for me...there was he standing right in front of me holding my shoulders...his face so close to me...his eyes creeping on my face from eyes to lips and his gaze stopped there...I gulped a lump...
so it was true!It was real!It was not in my dream!
I was feeling his intense gaze on my lips and his hot breath on my neck...it was getting difficult for me to control...I stepped back with a jerk,
"Ohh..c'mon stop now...otherwise I will kiss you hard and chew your lips..."I almost screamed controlling my desires.
He grinned,"Ohh really!!! Ms.nupur knows how to speak..."
Ahh...how must he have felt when I was not speaking for so long thinking that it was all in my mind...I cursed myself for making him to put so much effort to make me speak.
"Sorry!"I said with a sly smile.
"For not speaking or for not kissing me?"he chuckled.
His statement turned me all red...I smiled shyly.
"So tell me you liked it or not?"he asked.
"Like??? I loved it...I ssoo..."I started excitedly for my voice stuck somewhere in my vocal cords realizing his intense gaze.
"Nupur,I want to tell you that I like you...we are working together from past 3 months and in that time I adored your spirit so much...the way you handle things is amazing...you are different from other girls... having no such 'girly' stuffs you look so beautiful and amazing..."
My heart was dancing..OMG he likes me..'He' likes me...Its like some celebrity likes some ordinary girl
for me he is my celebrity...not only for me..but for any girl...he was the most handsome and successful business man...girls die on him...OMG and he is saying that he likes me!!!
"So I would like to date you...to know you some more on personal front...to tell you some more about me..."he said kneeled down.
OMG!!! I was jumping in joy...he is such a well mannered MAN...he kneeling down for proposal of date.
It felt so good.
"Yes!" a whisper finally escaped from my mouth.
