Ah my chain of phangirling comments on LLATW is broken :'(

But that only means more people are reading this I-wish-IPK-was-like-this-FF, YAY!

Haha khushi fainting, he should know this by now..hasn't he learnt nothing from their history, ASR remember the time you gifted her bangles? kuch yaad aaya?!

Juhi, do you have a thing for salman too? khushi is so smitten, kinda like how everyone is for Barun I guess. Or when you see you favourite band perform on the most special day of your life..nicely written. And for arnav to be the person to give her that smile, he must feel pretty damn good!

I really enjoyed the part with Salman, I mean this could have totally happened (cough budget constraints apart!).."eligible bachelor" haha, after a while I forgot if anyone actually cares about what ASR does in his life (in the show). It would have been in line with what tv shows do these days, act as platforms for launching movies! But its nice that you did keep it real "called in some favours". And trust you to bring Katrina too..always one step ahead of us "predicters".

AND then the juhi bomb drops:

Ah kinda reminded me of that karva chauth scene..but better because arnav wasn't brooding-ly looking at khushi while dancing!

THE PEARLS. you genius of a woman.

note to self - I guess I really need to make a list of best top 10 non-existent rabba veys! or the best top 10 non-existent things Arnav says!

I like that this story has a two-way street, we know ASR is kinda redeeming himself, but that doesn't mean khushi won't do things for him back..and our sankadevi brings out a suicide note, a blanket, picnic basket and an unreachable phone!

And re-introducing location funda..."with one goal"

But what follows after is the sweetest. Something alll of us wanted to hear about..were dying infact. I know you didn't indulge all my inquisitions about arnav's "struggles" but I am glad you mentioned them. Thank you :)

SO the girlfriend bit is here...haha can't wait.

You are right..this is turning out to be the closest version to how I would have wanted IPK to turn out too..partly because of my lack of imagination, but mostly because you are a wonderful writer!

Ok most eligible bachelor didn't have multiple girlfriends?! I like how he justified it. Also people just like to make stuff up in our high-society-following-media.

But what i liked most is you justified his and lavanya's relationship. She wasn't just some wannabe loser..there was a history there. You gave her a backbone.

What past is complete without discussing how they first met..so many memories for all us fans, not just them haha. And this:

you are not intimidated by me

I hope he sticks to his promise. slash I know he will.

Aww and the rabba vey watching sun set lining on a blanket, deja vu's me back to the post-kidnap gunda fight arnav in 45day old banyan scenes..except nothing matches what you wrote, its not easy to recreate visual intensity.

Oh the mehendi location is mesmerising..I thought the wedding planner would come in, but with a brain like Arnav's all he needs is minions to follow his orders. screw planners. And you bring in maan and geet niceee.

Oh the post mehendi..pre-wedding..non-meeting period! They have already given each other enough challenges before, I am sure yeh bhi survive kar hi lenge, or is asr going to bend the rules for haldi?

haha the private mehendi was hot! so much hotter than watching asr say a weird cocky "really" to "arnavji chodiye hume" and khushi give an awkard blush..Not my cup of chai. And also the rabba vey that follows..so much sizzle and spice..and all things nice? I dont know how you do that..

Oh my god isn't arnav just the most thoughtful person recently...

big wdding with a large number of guests, I'm afraid that the actual ritual will get lost in the chaos.

I would say mujhe yeh arnav chahiye..but for that I will have to go through all the insults, sad rabba veys, that khushi had to. Because this arnav would not exist..if he hadn't followed the path he did previously, what do you think??

So nani and her protege are really upto something now..and mera shak haqeeqat me badal raha hai,

I like this nani vs pota games. they are fun.

Oh missed your authors note last time..YES i found it so utterly confusing in the show, that a girl like khushi is so ardent in her "devi maiya worship" "phera nahi toh suhagrat nahi believes" didnt follow the bride-groom no meeting rule. Anywho all confusion went to gutter when we saw the weird-in-bits haldi rabba vey!

AH turning the light off is playing by the traditional rules..! And wow explosive scene, and you have achieved this without dropping any of your usual bombs. I is proud. You really capture the intensity, innocence, love, passion, playfulness so well. And add that little challenge, imposed by the situation rather then either one of them:

"Sshh..we have to be quiet, remember?"

So khushi has stopped blushing, and started accepting it. I like your khushi tooo!

At one point I thought we are finally getting our fish-in-bowl-wali, projector-stars-wali suhagrat!

But than buaji comes with her nandkishore..moral policing around, damnit!

If arnav hadn't said so..

I would have. This is almost like a taylor swift song. Except not really, because he is meant to be ASR the broody tycoon..or rather the thoughtfully seductive arnavji!

And sometimes I dont know if I should jump in the gutter with you and laugh, or do a khushi and blush?

Payal jiji finally graces us with her presence..! Ah the jewellery, the dress everything is exquisite. He also remembered the bangles..juhi you'd make one thoughtful arnav!

And yay another amma-khushi scene..I was wondering how her parents would feel about all this princess, money, marrying a rich man, specially because they are her adoptive parents and modest at that. Lovely scene juhi..

So finally the secret is revealed..and anjali is part of it,

I don't want to break his trust.

And nani is one wise albeit manipulative lady.

The first few months are crucial in establishing a solid foundation for a marriage

juhiji you have done justice to all the characters here.

How is a wedding possible without hand gestures, mothers, and infidelity?!

ahhh arnav you are a genius, much like juhiji! diwali lamps, who'd have thought.

And yet at the same time, he is genuinely terrified..like any other groom, that his bride would runaway..quite the opposite from the show.

I love this pre-wedding jitters stuff, its such a delicate moment..kuch bhi ho sakta hai! Par hum jaante hai, hume bharosa hai..aap pe aur apki writing me.

Ooh yay another khushi-sashi moment..perfect.

Khushi is no less in her love for arnav:

His perfect bride.

You are so meticulous in your writing, adding all the tiny trimmings to paint the perfect picture..like the jewellery. Why I enjoy this story so much!

haha and I thought hamara love-struck arnav would become a bali-ka-bakra by khushi's whims. Obviously he isnt that seedha saadha:

Every single night, you mean.

So the challenges are back, love is a conquest after all..

The mandap, the rituals, the pheras...THE PHERAS! such a big deal was made out of it..but that was it. I love the way you took it forward..circles of all kinds. Ah this story is so much about what has happened than what is happening you know...so many flashbacks of so many scenes, even if you don't write them in:

how far they had come

beautiful. Then the mangalsutra..chapter 1 to chapter 20, nice leap. And to think this would have stopped at chapter 7!

So the final pahad in the story that hasn't been overcome yet, Asr's guilty conscience. Its good finally khushi realises,

uncertain and doubting his every move.

this relationship could never be the same, or balanced like that.

AHHH ARNAV KNOWS ITS ANJALI!!! YAY. He is smarter than he looks haha.

Last chapter was the perfectest chapter of this story.

"Just Desires" so apt. Never got to see that/let alone it being acknowledged...because they had to concentrate on capturing shyam. Oh I also liked the way you divided the chapter, kept the pace going.

I like that we are skipping to suhag-morning? I love these two..bickering. I was also on the floor by the time I read the word floor, laughing obviously.

So khushi really is paris-hitlon rich! kya baat hai.

I enjoy that this chapter is aww-y without being cheesy!

"For now, just let me love you."

With me, you can be whatever you like, and do anything you want, samjhi tum?

and khushi is as fierce and passionate, as arnav is..well little less. and she balances that with the right amount of blushes! I disliked her taboo-view of this aspect of their relationship..or just her meekness, on the show. I mean the underlining message of IPK sometimes was that desire, passion and heat! I also like that she is fast to learn ;)

oh i forgot about the confrontation! damn inn desires ne distract kar diya..So Arnav wants the "lady" (cough anjali!) to stay out of his personal life. And you just proved its Anjali..because there is no one else Arnav really "trusts". I am so winning this one.

So the dhaaba again! Their conversations are so much more meaningful here, and I like that you keep it real. I mean even if you are star crossed lovers you can't fully know everything about each other..for instance how you showed

khushi's idea of rituals, or khushi saying she isn't fragile, his concern about choking not about knife and forks.

That will come with time, and it makes it more fun!

HAHAHA I KNEW IT! the bet was to not wear clothes in bed ever. This chapter is hilarious.

The damned reception, putting an end to our gutter minds and also arnav's!

"The rumors about her being a gold-digger and trapping him into marriage were false."

Juhi these tiny things that you add..make it so special.

Its ok I can do this..just pretend they didnt have their suhagmorning yet.

I am ready..and so the confrontation did continue..except not really. Ab yeh raaz khol bhi do, samba?

Ah the suhagraat jitters are hitting now. I liked it more than the suhagmorning haha.

And the customary bidai, lol buaji is one funny character, nandkishore! Arnav you can't control these tears..damnit, they are not from nafrat but from mohabbat. Although I like that he can't let it be.

He has become quite the rasam man! Juhi you have taught him well. take a bow.

And I was going to say..how come khushi didn't notice the diyas? but now she does. well written, although i expected nothing less. I can't wait for arnav to see her jewellery, unless he already did and i missed it in my mis-readings?

So the ring fighting rasam..totally up their ally! My bets on khushi to win this, obviously arnav lets her. And that is exactly what happened..par you are one step ahead and know khushi better than I do, obviously how can I forget that stubborn lucknowi girl would want to win fair and square without any ramanchi!

And the room..perfection. juhi the part-time relationship councillor/wedding planner + interior decorator oh and the full time writer!

And what can i begin to say about your arnav..the way he reads khushi, better than khushi herself. And lets get real its been like couple months not even.. and he already knows the solution to most problems..no one can say arnav singh raizada is not a changed man! although his shaatir business dimag is right where it was all along.

ahhh the fairy lights scene..if that wasnt eye sex i dont know what was, and arnav acknowledges it!

Ab kaunsi promise baaki hai? ok now i really dont know what to say...rightly so "just love!"

Except this:

SHE SAID ARNAV!!! I could feel the world stop for that moment too haha

YAY and they made a run for it..
