So all I am going to say is I loved the date, dammit! Also arnav and khushi are all about the "challenges", which you write reallly well. So enough buttering of popcorns, getting back to the shirtless ASR..

Of all the twists in your stories, I think I saw the 'no-physical-intimacy' clause coming..i feel quite accomplished. And then the games continue..enjoyed the beginning banter. Also is it just me or you like to take scenes and effectively reverse them, while still maintaing the essence?! (To juhi: my questions might seem rhetorical, they aren't..why you no answer damnit?)

Then you brought back all the favourite scenes..photoshoot, rain hug, construction site, bangles broken and new, manat ki chabi, detergent coins, plants, tears from the hug!!, and Shyam - Lavanya..there were never enough dialogues, this was good fill in the blanks. So I went back and watched some of that, good times :')

All they needed was to talk it out, be honest, open..and yup its working out! EXCEPT:

AHHH rightly so, I guess.

Fell off my chair at vimla mausi bit..this is why I love this story one minute we are laughing, another crying, another passionately making out? well not us the leads.

Another date, ab kaha bhai..also arnav is turning perceptive achi baat hai.

Except now RISHI is back and "embracing" khushi. The sign will be how Arnav deals with this situation..if he says he is a changed man!

so lets see, what is Rishi upto?! Even if it is a Big Juhi-style bomb, I feel optimistic.

and arnav left..I am glad, he better blow that steam off and comeback rationally!

That saree makes a comeback! is it possible to be more excited for date 2?? You always keep the dates interesting, I dont feel like i am reading just mush.

I like this progression of knowing how the other is feeling, I guess before when things weren't out they just turned the rational button off. But now they can read each others "auras" and all..

TEMPLE! why didn't i think of that. And that is exactly what I felt about it that Arnav going to the temple is not because of his changed believes, but merely for khushi..I like their conversation on this topic. Way to jump the gun juhi!! second date..they are already proposing marriage! nice, unexpected but I love the simplicity of it all. I do love arnav now. a little less than khushi. but still.

Except..there is another ulterior motive for this..don't tell me! haha no no he is genuine now. Also because he said the golden words

Another thing we all waited for and never came, Arnav telling the whole world, it wasn't khushi's fault but his. I enjoyed this part. Clearly your story fills in all the blanks, ties all the dhagaz, and modifies things we hated (didnt understand!) = snake, sheetal.

So I am assuming Rishi is getting married?

Nice update..the story seems like its moving quite quickly which makes me curious as to what awaits me in the next 15 or so chapters.

before i forget I liked reading the working of Arnav Singh Raizada's brain.

Also leaving that sentence incomplete was a good idea..but completing Lavanya's story was essential..like you explain. She was such a sweet character, and to think 'changing' her came down to nothing..(in the show!) only because the girl in indian clothes always wins.

so ASR's believes re-questioned..lets see how much of it stops them from being together? (If it does at all..) Always found this aspect interesting..how does an individual that too with strong personality fit into a relationship where fundamental compromises would require a change of faith, brain or heart?

Love the jibe at the hairpins, costume jewellery..! haha ipk team better take full responsibility for that though, not my khushi..

And these two can't keep away from a challenge. Thats how it should be..jagdenge nahi to makeup kaise karenge? So who is going to budge first..my bets on Arnav. Except I lose it was khushi, but then again they are both pagal.

From the beginning we know, asr wants this marriage pronto, simply because without khushi he can't seem to function. For khushi so far it was nice to hang with him, she loved him and all..but the need to be with him always, that is important. I like that with every chapter there is a new relationship-nook-n-cranny you explore.

ps. with every update I think I possibly can't have more left to say, but you surprise me, and so I surprise myself!

I really enjoy this anjali! mending her hypocritical ways, looking out for her brother, making space for a new member next to her chotte instead of being jealous of sharing his attention (Referring to khushi's bday scenes), and wanting to make her own life..Juhiji saves the day = poojali's life.

haha NANI makes an appearance, I thought kahi ashram-vashram me to nahi bhej diya arnav ne! Why do people need to leave the house..dont get it? Although to come back to a house without Manorama mami, surely feels like a relief...

awww arnav and khushi's phone conversation! such a prewedding, post sagai thing to do..as they say. just how khushi wanted it..for him to murmur sweet nothings on the phone.

Waise are we going to discuss arnav's belief in marriage..ya it will come up later?

ah finally the princess is re-surfacing, Khushi has come such a long way, yet she is still the same girl morally. I speak like we are chaddi-buddies. Anywho I always liked Shashi and was disappointed him and khushi never got to have a decent convo :( thank you for giving this one!

Anal arnav. Trying to be the perfect guy, and yet his patience is tested time and again...well only because of his anger-management issues. On the other hand, what a thoughtful gift..love how you turn him 180degrees all the time, to be human. Oh no digging himself a hole, another challenge! and here he loses and Juhi drops the Ultimate Bomb of LLATW:

Again khushi wanted to budge first, dammnit. I loved that bit though! Strange when we lose someone or something, our true feelings come out..? Sometimes I felt Khushi is holding back because she wants to have the upper-hand in their relationship. But khushi isn't that cynical.

So instead of khushi taking arnav on a date to thank him...She is actually doing something sensible! people may disagree about mending her ways for him..i like the way you justified it.

Hahah and the challenge keeps showing its ugly face time and again..first khushi and her nightmare, now arnav and his desire. Also pehle jaadu n nasha was stopped because they didnt know what the hell is going on, and now you stop it because of this challenge?! Eyes were burning this time, not just heating, phir bhi?!

The glass scene. ahhh a+k bliss, best non-existent rabba vey ever! And then the rose garden, and this deserves a song of its own! jaadu hai nasha hai is sooo last season.

This scene reminds me soo much of the they-did-it-didnt-do-it-wali-suhagrat..wahi under-the-stars wali. And also reminds me of the arnav-wants-to-suhagrat scenes..and then it reminds me of humari-dhadhkan-ek-ho-jaati-hai. Basically you know them so well, or the show so well, you write it in your own way, but still it shadows what we all know of them. totally the best could have happened rabba-vey moment if star plus was really about nayi soch?

But in true true true Juhi Style..Sheetal. Sheetal. Sheetal. Oh and how can I forget poo-jali. LovedIT.

I wanted to know how arnav felt about the changes, and that is exactly what I thought he would say. He is good at giving advice, surprisingly! I also thought it was about self-confidence. But what is she learning now?

And what would we do without some juhi-induced sense of humour:

and then we have the much awaited argument..Marriage. NAILEDIT! I dont know what to say, I get khushi's point I do..but I am drawn to explore arnav's point, I feel he didn't argue enough..explain enough. When he could have..par I am sure you will bring this thing into picture soonish.

ps. I was forced to sit through kyunki ki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi when i was little, hence repetition of 3 has kinda become a way of life..

Anjali is soo egging her on..ya? I hope so. I feel like there will be this romantic airport rabba vey moment..

khushi..the whole thought process of her coming to this:

was wonderful. I repeat you always make them conquer some sort of relationship issue..every chapter. I guess thats how you can only focus on arnav-khushi in this story and forget about the rest.

I lurve the K+L friendship that has evolved in the pages of this thread! Why did lavanya had to go to that random Arjun and then die anyway. Why couldn't she be more like the one you wrote her to be? Roles have reversed student is now the teacher..and does she give good advice or what.

A whole chapter dedicated to a fascinating issue..marriage and belief. I like how you put forth both their sides this time, I also liked that they both went home and researched..I guess they are beyond that stage of return, jumping to conclusions etc. JUHI it was perfect. I will admit ASR's stand on marriage has always been confusing to me..cause at first i thought it was merely a commitment thing, obviously that changed when he found out he loved khushi..; then i thought he didn't really know what he wanted and was conditioned by his upbringing..like a kid who is told bad things will happen if he doesnt brush his teeth at night; and lastly I understood its not as much about marriage as it is about traditions and religious beliefs.

And I guess its not just me, they also came to the stage of understanding one another. I hope you are a relationship therapist or something..you'd be perfect!

khushi..just hit her that gazebo night, might be a regular occurrence, starting in a weeks time! big change that? love the way you showed both their feelings short and sweet.

(ps. this feels like a jibe at the asr on the show..i laughed a lot, thinking of those days.. he didn't just sit at home all day, did he?)

Ahhh juhi you are impeccable..the fitting room scene tip-samaj-ke-rakh-lo. Replace old memories with new..good trumps bad..times have changed..and all that. Words really are inadequate, good thing they remained quiet. I like this new level of understanding, to be fair it already existed..but was never really highlighted..and you do just that! This is kind of maybe what they tried to do with the real sagai scene near the poolside to trump the diwali almost kiss sadness, or I am just reading tooo much into it.."symbolisms" and all.

(Also I like that its realistic, its not like Arnav can read minds and just apparate there!)

I wish I could get on board with the endearment "rani sahiba" for khushi, but I can't, dammnit!

Although go ASR! finally after trust building and all..this was one of the important things, like i mentioned before I hated that scene with him insulting khushi cause he doesn't make money on the show..

I enjoy this quest ASR is on. Take the bad moments and make them good..Although poor poor poor shyam, apni biwi+nani aur saale ke beech me kebaab ki haddi ban gaya!

BAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA can't wait to see how this unfolds..reminds me of this FRIENDS scene where chandler pretends to like pheobe (but then again I could relate anything in life to Friends).

I love pranks..and with your sense of humour the expectations were high! And they have been met..! What a corner to back shyamji into..khushi with her words, arnav with the 'recording' (seriously?!) and the dhamkis. All to forget that moment, that horrid face, captured in all our memories especially khushi's when 2+2 = 4 and K's shyam and A's shyam = shyam!

Wait so I am the only one who has deduced Anjali is also part of this scheming..I thought khushi+arnav were smarter.

As the days to the wedding get closer..the need to decrease the distances seems to increase. Quite scientific their relationship is..really. And 4 days to the wedding YAY..who said writer's didn't give into readers demands ;) (kidding!) I don't know how it is humanly possible to organise a wedding in 4 days, and totally get the panic of khushi. However she still underestimates Arnav's capability of knowing/understand her after the change room incident?! Seriouly..Seriously...Seriously?!

I mean her ASR is not really human is he?! that rakshas, laad governor will figure things out..

(ps. loved her turning tables. the humour, mischief in small doses really adds to this story..unlike over-the-top comedy)

Finally a khushi-garima scene, I was wondering when we would get that here. I always loved their scenes in the show, I think their relationship was one of the best executed.

So lets talk surprise..either its Arnav himself or SALMAN KHAN! Yes? Yes? YES?

This FF deserved all the accolades it got and then some more...

I said it earlier i say it once more what an excellent story teller you are...🤗. Thank you for connecting all the dots of the original IPK. The bangles, the saree, the earing, la etc. all came back in this FF to put things in proper prospective.

Thank you most of all for making khushi wear her mother's earring on her wedding day...I don't know why they didn't show that in IPK after the excellent scene between khushi and garima. I always felt that the CVs of IPK suffered from long term/short term memory loss...

Since i am no writer like you i don't think i would justify in words how good this FF has been.

Now i am off to Thread 2 let me have a go at that.
