Hi guys, Aashna here again. This time I am going to write a proper ff. I just got an idea about an alternate Tarey story, where Taani is different. I will give you the character sketch first and if you guys like my idea then please reply to me. I will continue it then. Okay guys?

I am sad that Sneha is leaving. Really sad, but let's hope that we get a good Sharon. Let's wish for it. Okay? Do read it.

Please tell me suggetions about what should I do with the sotry. Or should I continue it or not.

Reyansh Rannvijay Singhania- aka Rey

I am not at all going to change Rey. He is perfect. He has got it all, money, looks, mind, friendship etc. His life was perfect when Kriya and Rey were together, but life is not same always. Kriya left him (same way in the show) broken hearted. He has still not moved on from Kriya and still has feelings for her. He now keeps himself busy with work, dance and friends, but is not interested in moving on. 5 months after Kriya left, he misses her, but is stable now. Let's see what happens to Rey after Taani comes.

Taniya Singh Shekhawat- aka Taani

Taani in this ff is totally different. I love Tarey, but I have made modifications in her character. She is also perfect. Taani is an evergreen girl who believes that we only get a life once, so we should enjoy every moment of it. She lives every moment of her life fully.

Taani is beautiful with waist long shiny brown hair and warm beautiful brown eyes. She is modern, frank and flirting on the outside that is always happy, but on the inside, she is a normal girl full of love, very emotional. She is in love with a guy named Sagar who was her childhood friend, but Sagar cheats on her after 5 years of relationship. She gets to know that he was cheating on her for a year now and was just using her. She gets very angry on him and is shattered. She still loves him very much. She is very intense and believes that love happens only once. His brother Swayam is her best friend and knows about what happened with Sagar, with her being unaware about it. He gives her India fest ticket and after watching it she is really impressed by their dance and wants to learn dance like them.

Taani is trained in Kathak and in classical music, but she doesn't let anyone know about it. She got to know about Sagar's intensions from 3 months. She is trying hard to get back to normal, but her staying in Jodhpur in sight of her love and family, she cannot forget it. So, she moves to Mumbai with her brother. The story starts from when Taani comes to Mumbai.

Taani is in very much way like Swayam. She is really wise and smart. Give her a simple clue and she gets to know the whole story. She is mature, kind, in short lovely, but is very emotional and can't hurt anyone.

Swayam Singh Shekhawat-

He is the same as in the show, a perfect boy. His life's most important person is Sharon. They are right now in a Trial Relationship. He loves Sharon more than his own life. He is very intense, hyper, possessive and protective towards Sharon, but respects her space as she is afraid of his intensity. He is also very possessive towards Taani and they are best cousins ever, though he has not told Taani about Sharon.

Sharanjeet Rai Prakash- aka Sharon

She is also the same as in the show, a perfect diva girl. She has lived her life on her own rules forever and has got everything she wants almost always. She is really affected by Swayam, but because of her insecurities and complications, Sharon is confused about her feelings. Everyone thinks of her as a selfish girl and the only people to understand the real Sharon are Swayam and Rey, at least until Taani comes. Taani helps Sharon recognize herself.

No changes in other characters, so I am not going to bore you with all those descriptions. Any ways, they all are just supporting cast.

Chapter one

Rey's POV

Rey was again in the rehearsal hall dancing and trying to focus. No matter how hard he tried to forget her, she just kept coming back to him. Kriya, his Kriya. He couldn't understand how 'she' could do so. They were perfect together and after their time together, his life was destroyed in an instance. He tried to focus again.

Swayam enters'

Swayam: Rey?

Rey: (noticing him, turns off music and) Hey

Swayam: (He understood that Rey was again in his memories of Kriya, but ignoring it) VP sir is calling you, me and Sharon in half an hour. You are coming, right?

Rey: Of course, Swayam. I will just freshen up and then I will directly meet you in VP sir's office.

Swayam: Okay cool. (Leaves)

Rey sighs and tries to focus. Thinking (I am okay. Cool) He goes and freshens up.

In VP sir's office,

Swayam, Sharon and Rey: Good afternoon sir

VP: Good afternoon. So, I have called you three as GS, CS and ACS to remind you that Footloose is now in three months time and you need to prepare for it. How are the rehearsals going on?

Rey: Very nice sir. Both teams are ready for footloose and for winning it.

VP: Hmm good, but there is one more thing. For footloose, a team needs at least six members, so after the departure of our ex AGS Kriya (Rey tense, Swaron nervous), the weakling team needs a new member in the team. So, I want you guys to make arrangements for it. Got it?

Swayam: Okay sir. We will resume our search for the sixth dancer immediately.

VP: Good. You may leave now.

Rey, Sharon and Swayam: Thank you sir.

Taani's POV

Taani was sitting in the train admiring the beautiful view outside the window. She kept taking deep breaths to calm herself. She was glad that finally she was coming to Mumbai. She couldn't wait to see her bhai Swayam again. It has been so long they haven't met. They only met once a year, but still they were very close to each other. Swayam always wanted her to come to Mumbai and to live with him, but she was the one to deny it every time because she didn't want to leave Sagar. Sagar' She still couldn't believe for what he had done. Taani was always the one to recognize persons, but maybe her love for Sagar came in between of her logic. She thought (Whatever, let him go to hell. I am not going to be reminded of him again.)

Taani's mom Savitri Singh Shekhawat called again. It was the third time she was calling. Taani saw the call and sighed and ignored it. Station came. Taani smiled and after train stopped, she took her luggage and her bag and came out of the train. Taani thought (So many people and their busy life. Yes, that is exactly what I need. I am not going to be one of those small town girl whose life just stops because of some guy. I am a Mumbai girl now.) Taani smiled and then went to the taxi. She wanted to experience her whole life again and she wanted to surprise bhai, so she told the taxi driver to take her to a good guest house where she could stay.

In the guest house, Taani freshens up and then looking at the view outside thinks (I will be fine. Cool)

Chapter 2

Taani's POV

Next day, Taani freshens up and gets ready. She was so excited. Today, her admission was going to be completed and finally she would be the student of St, Louis. The other thing she was excited about was that she was going to meet her bhai and in Mumbai, she was going to live freely just like she always wanted. For her first day in college she wore a nice blue top and faded blue jeans skirt. She combed her hair, wore accessories and got ready. Taking the necessary documents and everything, she left for college.

Taani enters the college. She is looking so beautiful. Everybody in the campus stares at her dumbstruck especially all the boys. There is havoc in the campus. Taani is not at all surprised by this; she is accustomed to the stares. She smiles at all and enters the college. Everyone stares at her. Nilesh and Vicky also notice her and are looking at her mouths open.

Taani is busy admiring the college. She asks some boy where the girl's locker room and he is so busy staring at her that he mistakenly points to the Boys locker room.

In the locker room,

There is no one in the locker room. Taani looks around and is very happily admiring everything, Rey comes from inside and looks at Taani.

Rey: (God, not again. Itna samjhane ke bad bhi ye log apni harkato se baz nahi aye. Itna dantne ke bad bhi ek ladki ko muje milane ke liye Boy's Locker Room ke andar bhej diya) Excuse me'

Taani: (turns and she recognizes Rey from India Fest and smiles at him)

Rey: (narrows his eyes at Taani smiling and) Tum andar kese aa gayi? You are not allowed here.

Taani: Kyun? Aapki college me naye logo ka aana bhi mana he kya Rey?

Rey: (angrily) Oh, so I was right. Tum is college ki nahi ho. Kisne bheja he tumhe yaha. (Taani is confused) Oh wait wait wait, muje pata he tumhe yaha kisne bheja he.

Taani: Kya? Kisne bheja' Aap kisaki bat kar rahe ho?

Rey: Dekho, bano mat. Muje pata he tum yaha kyun ayi ho par let me tell you that I am not interested so please leave.

Taani: Oh hello, jana muje nahi aapko padega. Me kabse aapko sune ja rahi hu to aap bolate ja rahe ho? Locker room girls ka he to aap jao yaha se.

Rey: (Angrily) Listen, don't try to act okay? You are pathetic. Tumhare pas aur koi kam nahi he ki tum ye sab karne ko man gayi. Kisne bheja he han tumhe yaha bolo abhi.

(There is people muttering out in the corridor and Swayam passes from there and hears Rey shouting. He wonders what happened and comes to check)

Swayam: Rey? (Rey turns to Swayam) Kisape chilla raha he bhai. Kya hua?

Rey: Swayam, this is the limit now. Mene tum logo se kaha tha na ki I am not interested, fir bhi tum log apni harkato se baz nahi aye aur is time ek ladki ko boy's locker room ke andar bhej diya?

Swayam: Ladki ko? Kisako?

Rey steps aside revealing Taani: Isako..

Swayam: Tum?

Taani: Bhai aap?

Swayam: Tum yaha kese?

Taani: Surprise'

Rey: (to Swayam) Sun, ese kya dekh raha he jese ise pehle kabhi dekha hi nahi.

Swayam: Nahi yar dekha he, par mene expect nahi kiya tha isako yaha dekhna isliye'

Rey: Expect to mene bhi nahi kiya tha tujase ye ki' Tu baki logo ke sath milake meri setting..

Swayam: Dude, you are misunderstanding Rey, ye meri cousin he Jodhpur se aayi he..

Rey: Sun, muje pata he ki tu script bahot achi likh leta he aur acting bhi bahot achi kar leta he par don't forget, sikhi to tune mujase hi he na

Taani is looking from one to other in surprise with eyebrows raised.

Swayam: Dude, dude, tell me. Me tujse jhuth kyun boluga yar, ye sachme meri behen he aur Jodhpur se ayi he (Rey still not convinced) Rey, sach me wo meri behen he. Taani bolona ki tum Jodhpur se ayi ho

Taani: Haan haan, me Jodhpur se ayi hu aur inki behen hu..

Rey: Really?

Taani: Really na. Hum sach'

Rey: (taking Swayam close) Yar, tu muje pehle nahi bata sakta tha ki teri behen aa rahi he, itni sari misunderstandings na hoti na..

Swayam: Muje thodi pata tha (gets a call from dadi, he talks to her)

Rey: (to Taani) Umm hey ummm'

Taani: (quickly) Never mind. It's fine.

Rey is awkward, and Taani is smirking. Swayam comes, Taani is looking at Rey still smirking to herself.

Swayam: Haan Taani?

Taani: Hmm Bhai? (Then looks at Swayam) (enthused) Bhai' (excitedly flung her at him)

Rey and Swayam both get quite a shock. Swayam laughs and hugs her back.

Swayam: God Taani, I forgot how enthused you are.

Taani: Bhai, I missed you so much. Aap to abhi jyada call bhi nahi karate. Aur bhai mene India Fest dekha, bahot acha tha.

Swayam: Oh thanks Tanni. Par tum yaha achanak? Muje bataya bhi nahi..

Taani: Aapko surprise dena tha.

Then Rey gets a call from Sharon.

Rey: Swayam, Sharon ka call tha. Use tujse milna he. You know, CS and ACS meet.

Swayam: Oh, abhi boss ne bulaya he to milna to padegahi

Rey: Haan, boss ne bulaya he sirf isiliye jana padega. (Both chuckle to themselves and Taani is looking at them confused.)

Swayam: Okay Rey, Please do me a favour. Taani ko college dikha de. Agar akeli ghumegi to gum ho jayegi aur firse hame problem hogi so'

Rey: Okay cool. Thik he.

Taani smiles and Swayam: Taani dekh pehle college dekh le, phir mujase mil thik he. Bye.

Taani smiles and Rey: Look, I know mene aate hi chilla diya tum pe, par me itna bhi bura nahi hu okay?

Taani: It's fine. By the way I am Taani.

Rey: Aur me Re..

Taani: Reyansh Singhania, lead dancer in India fest and Bhai's best friend, right?

Rey: Umm Swayam told you about me?

Taani: Not exactly. I saw you in India fest. You are a really good dancer.

Rey: Thanks. So, shall we go?

Taani nods and they leave.

Chapter 3

Rey's POV

Rey is showing Taani College. He is fascinated by her. Taani is unlike girls he has met. She is very enthusiastic about everything and is talking rapidly. He found that it is not hard to talk to her at all. At least he can talk to her just as he can to his other friends. For the first time in 5 months, he was talking and smiling willingly at someone without having to pretend, because Taani was just someone who radiated happiness and relief. It is like she has been his friend forever.

Also, wherever they went, Taani and Rey were met by curious and jealous stares. Every boy would look at Taani mouth gaping open and every girl would give her a jealous stare. Rey supposed she was cute with her waist long shiny hair and mischievous but warm brown eyes. She was like someone who didn't care about the world. Rey had stopped about 5 to 6 times already to scold someone about being in the way, but Taani didn't care about it at all.

Nilesh and Vicky saw them and they told Sharon and the other dazzlers that there is a new girl in college and she is hanging out with Rey. They praised Taani so much and the girls were jealous, so they followed them and they saw Taani and Rey.

Sharon: Guys, I think this is someone sent by Neha and Vishakha. Guys, we can't let this happen. Rey doesn't want to be with someone right now. He's not ready. We have to do something.

Rinni, Simmi, Nilesh and Vicky agree and they follow Taani and Rey. As per their plan, Sharon calls Rey that principal is calling him and Rey tells Taani to wait in the canteen and he leaves. Taani sits there and waits.

All the dazzlers come into the canteen.

Simmi: Guys, Rey is not here. This is the chance. Ready?

Guys: Yes, let's start food fight.

They all start splashing food at Taani. Taani is shocked and she is totally drained in food. Then Rey and Swayam both enter and are shocked to see this scene.

Rey: Guys stop. Guys what are you doing guys? Sharon, stop.

Swayam: Guys, stop, she is my sister.

Everyone shocked.

Sharon: What?

Taani: (laughing)

Swayam: Taani, tum thik ho na..

Taani: (laughing) Haan bhai me thik hu.

Nil: Swayam, ye teri behen he?

Swayam: (angrily) Aur nahi to kya. Kya guys tum log bhi na..

Taani: Bhai, chill. It's okay. I am fine,

Sharon: Sorry Swayam, hame nahi pata tha.

Swayam: (looks at her surprised) No, its fine. No problem Sharon. (Taani notices)

Rey: Oh, Taani tum to puri khane se bhar gayi ho. You should go clean up. Simmi, why don't you go with her.

Simmi: Ya okay fine

Taani's POV

Taani was cleaning up with Simmi helping her. She was thinking about her day. She had thought that she would forget everything about her past and live in the present, but she didn't thought that it would be this easy. For once, she was not thinking about Sagar, but about Rey. When she saw him first, the first thought was that wow he is really handsome. Even more than Sagar who with his coco skin and melting really gorgeous eyes would melt her. But even thinking about Sagar was not painful here. For the first time, she hoped that she would be able to move on. Simmi gave her some cloths and she changed into it. Then she came outside and met Swayam.

Swayam: (smiling at her) So, great first day haan.

Taani: Very bhai.

Swayam: To tum achanak yaha kese? Muje to laga tha ki tum yaha kabhi nahi aaogi. Mere itne kehne par nahi manati thi to abhi kese apne Sagar ko chod ke aagayi haan yaha? Ya fir usine teri harakato se tang aa kar tuje chod diya. (laughing but sees that Taani has stopped smiling)

Taani: Wo bhai. Chodona abhi ye sab. Bhai muje VP sir se milake jana he. (then mischievously) Or wese bhai muje Sharon bhabhi bahot pasand ayi.

Swayam: (completely sidetracked) Whoa, tumhe kese pata ki me aur Sharon? Rey ne bataya?

Taani: Are nahi bhai, bas muje pata chal gaya. Itna hard bhi nahi he. Jab koi ladka boss se milane ke nam se sharmata he or usake samne itni charmingly dekhta he to anyone can put two plus two together.

Swayam: Hmm, pakka tu meri behen he. Chal abhi bahot ho gaya. Tu VP sir se mil le, phir hum tere guest house chalate he or phir ghar chalate he. Taani agrees.

They both leave.

Chapter 4

Swayam's POV

They were at home. Taani was decorating her room and Swayam was sitting there. They talked about everything, how was everyone, about St. Louis, Swayam's friends, Taani's thousand brothers, everything. Everything except Sagar. Taani's another bhai was Samrat and he had told him about Sagar and Taani's breakup. Taani didn't know it and Swayam didn't force her to tell him anything. He knew how much Taani loved Sagar. He was worried about her, but kept his calm.

Taani: Bhai, me to bahot thak gayi hu. Chalo na kahi chalate he. Aap muje Mumbai nahi ghumaoge?

Swayam: Of course ghumauga. Par Taani, aaj tum bahot thak gayi hogi na to tum aaram karo. Wese bhi muje abhi Rey ke ghar pe jana he. Hamari team ki meeting he, sixth dancer dhundhne ke liye.

Taani: Sixth dancer?

Swayam: Haan, hamare college se do teams footloose dance competition me enter kar rahi he. Aur meri team ki ek member college chod ke chali gayi so aane wali competition ke liye.

Taani: (yawning) Okay bhai. Aap jao me so jati hu. Par bhai kal ham ghumane jayege okay? Aur muje aapki aur Sharon bhabhi ki puri love story janani he. Okay?

Swayam: (laughing) Okay. Aur haan dekh kisi aur ko mere aur Sharon ke bare me mat batana thik he? Hamari relationship ek secret he. Chal abhi good night.

Taani: Okay bhai, good night.

At Rey's house

Swayam enters. Usake aate hi Nil aur Vicky dono turant uth jate he.

Nil: Are dekho, aa gaya aa gaya hamara ACS.

Vicky: Yar kaha tha ab tak?

Nil: Are Vicky, kya puch raha he? Abhi abhi isaki behen ayi he to of course ab Swayam ko late to hoga hi na'

Swayam is looking from one to other in surprise.

Nil: Yar Swayam, par tumne kabhi bataya nahi ki teri itni hot behen bhi he..

Vicky: sexy and beautiful yar

Swayam: Guys, behave. I mean wo meri behen he yar.

Nil: Are wahi to na. Teri behen he, hamari to nahi. Kyun Vicky?

Vicky: Exactly

From behind, Rey, Amar and Bharat are sitting there lazily on the sofa.

Rey: Bas ye Neha ko mat pata lagne dena haan Vicky ki tuje Taani pasand aa gayi he

Swayam: Tum log na kuch bhi kar lo. Meri behen tum me se kissi ke bhi hath me nahi aane wali. Khas kar (smacking them) tum dono jese despo ke to bilkul bhi nahi. Abhi ho gaya, kya hum meeting shuru kare? (looking around) Girls kaha he?

Rey: Andar kitchen me, snacks lane gayi he.

Swayam: Okay (And tries to move to the kitchen, but Amar and Bharat stops him)

Amar: Ale Swayam, lehne de. Sharon he waha aul wo aati hi hogi.

Swayam stops and then the girls come and they plan strategies for finding the sixth dancer.
