I really loved the last few chapters on pg 13. All the emotional attachments/connections, everybody's thought process, their emotions everything that you have described is just OUTSTANDING how you have put all these things in words. I'm really IMPRESSED & loved the story so far. Espically Taani's character, bcz she's not that BECHARI ABLAA NAARI types who is so vunerable and always crying.

Hi guys, Please pehle meri bak bak sun lo. Chhutku si. I know, aap sab log bahot naraj ho mujhse, pehle ek sath itane sare updates ki padhne me aankh dukh jaye, aur phir mere FF me ye sunapan.😆
Ek sachi bat, me bahot bahot stupid feel kar rahi hu. As you know, technical problem ki wajah se mujhe sare chapters firse likhne pad rahe he. Thats totally okay, par problem ye thi ki is ff ka end tak ka planning kiya tha, and wo sab bhi jis document me tha wo crash ho gaya. To me bahot irritated feel kar rahi thi. Par phir achanak ghanti baji(Doorbell nahi) ki cyber cafe me jake try karati hu. And thankfully, meri sari planning wala sab mujhe mil gaya.😃. To I am so so so relieved. Abhi pakka, pakka promise, kisiko jyada wait nahi karvaugi.
Secondly, ye chapter 'kind of not so interesting' he. But please bear it. From Chapter 65, there are so many twists plus the real theme of this ff will start now. And please do read my note after the chapter.😊.

***Chapter 64- GS selection***

Shivam had been carefully observing Amar's reactions when people talked about his lisping. He knew Amar's weak spot, but the problem was how to talk to Amar. It was going to be hard because he knew that Amar would not take him seriously, especially after the fight. Still Shivam was very good in manipulating people. He and his so called friends started executing the plan. While the team was trying to put Amar's talents in the front light, Shivam's team were trying to put his weaknesses in the front light. Amar had been very low confident especially after the speech fiasco where Shivam put into focus Amar's lisping problem. And after Shivam's speech, more and more people were questioning Amar's abilities because of his talking problem.
Just the day before the results, Shivam executed the last part of his plan. This was the back up plan. Shivam knew that his chances to win this election were not good, but he wanted to make full use this opportunity to destroy the team's unity. Before elections, when Amar was in a vulnerable position and questioning himself about his problems, Shivam talked to him and told him how everyone was voting him because they felt sympathy for him.
Amar was in self doubt. He was already going through a lot of tension in election and the question pointed on his normality. Shivam used this to his advantage. He made Amar doubt himself if he deserved to win the elections or not. Now all Shivam had to do was wait and watch.

The day of results came. The team was very tensed. The good news was that Amar was leading in votes. Shivam was furious when Amar entered. He was counting on if Amar was going to come or not.
No one had any idea how much inner battle Amar was going through.
They had decided that Rey would stay on the terrace and they had been in contact with him all day. All they could do was pray.
Well, their prayers, hard work and unity were surely answered. Amar won. But same way in the show, he decided to withdraw from the post.

Amar had been pondering over this decision all day. He was going through a strong internal battle. His friends had trusted him with this responsibility. He had a tough choice ahead. If he chosed not to take the GS position, Shivam would become the GS and that would cause problem, but if chosed to take the position, he knew that he would curse himself everyday for what he had done. Amar could not live on sympathy. He was a self made man. Even if he had lisping problem, he had learned to deal with it. He had made himself that strong that he could deal with that and counter all the other problems. He was self dependent. And he knew if he took the position, every second of that responsibility, he would second doubt his decision, because he would not be able to face the reality, the reality that people voted him because they felt sympathy for him. All these years he had accepted his lisp and led a normal life, all that would fall apart in an instance if he took the position. He was in a dilemma. He had to choose between breaking his self confidence and breaking his friends' trust.

Finally, the results were announced. Amar was secretly hoping that he should not win. What a situation! People pray to win, but in Amar's case, he would win only if he loses. Maybe that would prove Shivam to be wrong. And anyways, he would not have to take this decision if he loses. There is no thing as easy win. The results were announced and Amar was announced as the next GS of the college. While others were cheering, Amar was facing so many emotions. Suddenly, the lisp he had been dealing with from years, which he never considered as a big deal, seemed like big problem. And he decided. He had no idea if his decision was wrong or right. For one second, he thought that maybe I should take the position and prove it to people that just because he lisped while talking; it did not mean that he did not deserve. He could face any responsibility given to him. But he did not want to win by help of Sympathy votes. He knew that he would second guess his decision forever if he took the position. Even if he tried to lie to himself, he could not face the second guessing. So, he took a hard decision. He decided that his pride, his self confidence was the priority, that there was no position greater than his self respect. It was a very hard decision. It was the matter of chosing between his friends and himself, Amar decided to give up the position. He did not know if this decision was right for his friends and college or not, but he decided that if he was not happy with taking the position, then he would not be able to do justice to the job given to him. He decided that no one ever would be able to call him abnormal again just because of his lisping. Nothing is impossible. This was his battle. He would prove himself worthy enough to deserve such position and then only he would take that position. Silently apologizing to his friends, he addressed the students and told his decision to the whole college. He decided to withdraw from the position.

Taani's POV
Taani was shocked. They never took into consideration what Amar would go through if they used his advantage in the elections. Hearing Amar's speech, she felt really guilty. How could they be selfish enough, that they used their friend, to just win the election? She knew that their intensions were not wrong. They just did not want Shivam to win the election, but in this battle, they forgot to consider what Amar might be going through. Maybe they knew, of course they knew that people were giving Amar votes because of his… lisping. In fact, that was the part of the strategy. If Amar stood up in the election, he would immediately come in limelight. That would give them an upperhand in election. Somehow, they never took into consideration, what Amar might be going through in this. She felt ashamed. What kind of friend she was? How could she not think about her friend's POV? Still she felt proud, proud of Amar. He had proved himself strong enough to stand up for himself. She did not feel any remorse that they did not win the election, never thought for a moment what would happen tomorrow when Shivam took the position. Shivam might be thinking that he had won the battle, but instead it was going to prove the downfall of Shivam. This election had brought the friends closer to each other and there is no position better than their friendship.
She decided that right now she must see Rey. He had no idea what had happened. She decided to go see him on the terrace.

Swayam's POV
Swayam was tensed. Taani and everyone seemed understanding. They understood Amar's point of view, but Swayam was confused. He knew Amar. He had been coping with lisping for a long time. And anyways, while making strategies they had tried to bring Amar's talents in limelight. Yes, they had decided on Amar's name as a candidate because they wanted an advantage of his lisp, so that he would come in limelight, but not in the way. Swayam felt suspicious. He never knew that Amar could be this sensitive about his lisp. In fact, he had never been this sensitive before. And seeing Shivam smirk while Amar's speech, Swayam felt suspicious that perhaps, Shivam had something to do with the situation. He could never be sure about it. And this was not the time to bring that subject. His priority right now was Amar.

Sharon's POV
Sharon was feeling very guilty. Since it had been her idea in the first place to give Amar's name for the GS position, she felt like maybe, he was blaming her. She felt really guilty and misunderstood. She never wanted ki Amar ko is baat se taklif ho. All she wanted was not let Shivam win, but still she felt blamed. She cursed herself. Why? Why why why?

Why was she so misunderstood? Jab bhi koi achi cheej karane jao, kyun hamesha, hamesha kuch na kuch galat ho jata tha. She was in no position to consider any one else's POV right now. Wo itani hi khud ki insecurities me khoyi hui thi ki… Jitana bhi try kare, ye blame, ye guilt ko kese over ride kare… She was feeling so helpless.

Rey's POV
Rey had no idea. He understood that Amar won, but hearing to Amar's speech, he was shocked. He had no idea why Amar did that. He only heard part of the speech and was unaware of the whole situation. He could not do that. If Amar withdrew from the position, that would mean that Shivam would succeed in his evil intensions and Taani will have to work with Shivam. Rey could not let that happen. He wanted to check on the team, but before he could go Taani appeared.

Rey: (relieved) Taani?
Taani: (she looked really tensed, the way Rey had never seen her before) Hi (she said slowly)
Rey was surprised, for a moment he felt odd. But after a moment's silence and observing her, he asked.
Rey: What happened?
Taani: (took a deep breath) Rey? Relax.
Rey: Relax? How can you tell me to relax? How could you let this happen? We can't let this happen. You know what this means? Shivam…
Taani: Relax Rey. Listen, the matters bigger than you realize. You need to calm down first.
Rey: Well, tell me what happened? Amar withdraw kese kar sakta he?
Taani told him everything Amar said. Rey was thoughtful.
Taani: So you see? Hame pata bhi nahi tha ki Amar ko esa feel hota hoga. I can't even imagine ki wo kese halat se gujra hoga. His confidence was on stake.
Rey had no idea. He was so surprised. Usane kabhi esa socha bhi nahi tha that Amar was that touchy about his lisp. He felt like a moron. How could he not see that? He looked at Taani. She looked so strangely guilty and sad.
Rey: (Rey put his hand on her shoulders) Hey. Don't blame yourself now Taani. Ham me se kisine bhi nahi socha tha ki Amar itana sensitive he is baat ko leke. We all became selfish. It's not your fault. I mean it is, but its our fault. Right?
Taani: (looked at him recovering) Yeah. You are right.
Rey was surprised. For the first time, he felt like Taani was depending on him. Like she expected him to take an action. He felt like she was still feeling bad. He had to stay strong right now.
Taani: So, now what about Shivam?
Rey: (looked at her in confusion, she was looking so tensed. Something was bothering her) let's just check on Amar first. He needs us right now.
Taani: Right.
Rey: You ready for this?
Taani: Yeah Rey.
He considered this. They went to the canteen.

In the canteen, the team was gathered. Everyone was feeling guilty. Amar came and he told them why he did this. He apologized to them all. Same way in the show. But every misunderstandings were cleared. As long as they were together, nothing could break them.

After that, Swayam and Rey were talking in the parking. Swayam told Rey his suspicions about Shivam's involvement.
Rey: I think you are right. But Swayam, this is not the right time. Abhi abhi, sab is problem me se bahar aaye he, I don't think ki hame abhi is bareme sochna chahiye.
Swayam: I guess. I can't believe par ki koi itana kese gir sakta he. That Shivam is just so … pervert.
Rey: Yeah, I know. And this is going to cause problem you know that right? And our main problem is Taani right now.
Swayam: (confused)
Rey: She is going to work with Shivam right now. What if…
Swayam: Hey Rey. Calm down. Listen, tu Taani ke bareme tension mat le. I know wo Shivam dangerous he, par Taani will handle it. Now, jab use Shivam ke intensions etc ke bareme pata he to wo handle kar legi. In fact, abhi Shivam ko darna chahiye. Use lagta he ki GS banana ke bad ab ham usaka kuch nahi bigad sakte, but now we will make the life hell for him.
Rey: (surprised) Tu itana calm kese ho sakta he? Taani ko Shivam ke sath akele kam karna padega, and you are hardly thinking about it.
Swayam: 'Tu' itana hyper kyun ho raha he yar? Are, me keh raha hu na, Taani ko me janata hu. Wo apna dhyan khud rakh sakti he. Trust me dude
Rey: I know wo apna dhyan khud rakh sakti he, par Shivam…
Swayam: Rey? Tuje kya lagta he? Just because wo GS ban gaya he, Taani kuch nahi karegi? I am damn sure, wo Shivam ki life hell bana degi. Remember? Usane Shivam ko thappad mara tha? Wo bhi AVP ke samne. She is not the one to sit back. And anyways, agar koi problem hui to we are here right?
Rey: Yeah right. And its not like we have got a choice. Ab wo usaki AGS jo he.
Swayam: Yeah. (The team is coming) They are coming. Listen, Rey. Tum kya Taani ko chod doge aaj? I have to talk to Sharon.
Rey: Cool. But is everything okay?
Swayam: Kaha yar? Sharon involved ho to kabhi kuch okay hota he kya?
Rey: (laughing) What happened?
Swayam: She is taking it so hard. She is blaming herself. Aur use lagta he ki Amar use hi blame kar raha he.
Rey: Yeah I know. Sharon aaj kal kuch jyada sensitive ho gayi he.
Swayam: Ho gayi nahi. Wo hamesha se hi sensitive thi. Its just that pehle wo apne emotion ko apne anger se chupa leti thi. That's it.
Rey: So, what now?
Swayam: I don't know. I don't know how to handle her. Pata he dar lagta he muje. Wo itani vulnerable ho gayi he na, I feel like ek instance me, me use break kar sakta hu. Just one misunderstanding and na chahte hue bhi use bure laga jayega ya something.
Rey: Don't worry bro. Its just a matter of time. Abhi sabhi ese hi position me he. Wakht ke sath sath sab wounds heal ho jate he.
Swayam: I hope. Isiliye, me chahta hu ki use ghar drop kar du, aur use support de saku.
Rey: But you think Sharon manegi?
Swayam: Yeah I know. But I know exactly how to make her say yes. And anyways, tu Taani ko drop kar dega na? Ek tu hi to he jisape hum sab rely kar sakte he. Pata nahi agar tu nahi hota to hamara kya hota.
Rey: Okay okay. Chal, you just take care of Sharon right now. Hey guys. (The team is here) Taani kaha he? Aur Sharon?
Neha: Pata nahi. Talking they were. Phir pata nahi kaha chale gaye.
Vicky: Are don't worry kagu, aa jayege. Acha Rey, me aaj badi gadi laya hu to aaj sab meri gadi me chalege haan?
Nil: Haan haan
Rey: Okay phir thik he tum log nikalo aur me Sharon ko drop kar duga aur Swayam Taani sath chale jayege. Kyun Swayam?
Swayam: Haan haan, of course ham sath chale jayege. Tum log jao guys.
Bharat: Thik he chalo phir.

The team leaves. Sharon and Taani comes and after some persuasion Sharon leaves with Swayam.

Rey: So, may I drop you? (opening the door for Taani to seat)
Taani: Stop the formalities Rey. (irritatedly sitting in the car)
Rey: (confused. She was looking angry. What happened to her?)
In the car, Taani didn't talk to Rey. She was looking outside the window with the same irritated expression. Rey observed her finally breaking silence.
Rey: Are you okay?
Taani: Hmmm.
Rey: You don't look okay.
Taani: Agar pata hi he okay nahi hu to puchne ka kasht kyun kar rahe he?
Rey: I am sorry kasht what?
Taani: (irritated) God, you really need to take some Hindi class. (He is so irritating. How can he forget so easily? He seems least bothered ki I am not his AGS anymore. Moron.)
Rey: (amused. So he didn't speak.)
He stopped the car at her home. They had not spoken another word in the car. Taani had been thoughtful and he had concentrated on driving only.
Taani: Bye (still irritated)
She was moving ahead, but Rey came outside. Taani glanced at him confused.
Rey: Wait. (He said taking her hand and making her face him)
Taani stopped confused, her heart still skipping a bit when Rey touched her. But she mostly always ignored it. Dil ka koi ilaj nahi he. So what?
Rey pursed his lips, studying her.
Rey: (He said softly) Listen, muje pata he what you are feeling? I know I couldn't complete my promise.
Taani: What promise?
Rey: I promised you ki me Shivam ko GS nahi banana duga aur…
Taani: And you completed that promise. (looking into his eyes directly) Rey? We did everything we could. And you know what? You don't have to worry about me. I can take care of myself. I take care of myself. I don't need anyone's help.
Rey: (chuckling) I know. Swayam ne bhi yahi kaha. But you know what? It does not change anything. This development is not gonna change the equation between us. (Maybe just maybe this time she will be trapped. Just say it Taani.)
Taani: (looked into his eyes. Searching his eyes) (He was smirking. Achha?) Yeah of course, I mean, ham friends he. Aap GS ho ya na ho isase friendship pe to koi asar nahi hoga he na? (She said smiling at him)
Rey: (smirk faded) Friendship?
Taani: Hmm. Of course, hamari friendship pe koi asar nahi hoga. We will have fun as usual.
Rey: (irritated) Yeah of course, ham friends to he. Aur kuch nahi. Right. Right. To ab me jau?
Taani: Haan. Wese bhi abhi bhai aate hi hoge. To aap jao. Bye.
Rey: Bye. (Taani smiled politely and went into the house laughing silently all the way) (Rey smacked his head.)
Rey: (frustrated) God, please muje is ladki se bacha lo. She is driving me crazy.

Precap: Rey's shocked expression, politics and Unexpected turns change the equation between TaaRey drastically.

and well, thank you finally update karne ke liye...finally request ki jagah, dhamki kaam aayi 😆

but awesome update...loved the POVs of Amar, Taani, Sharon and Swayam...it was really touching...*tu na emotional updates bahut acha karti hai* 👏

and then TaaRey ka convo...and den ReYam...and loved the way u described Sharon's situation...

and den bechaara Rey ka strike bhi fail ho gaya...hehe...Taani is Taani she will not give in easily...LOL 😆 the ending was epicly hilarious...
