Phase two
Chapter 65- The Start of Something New

The morning rays of sun touched the lids of a beautiful girl sleeping on the posh bed of Shekhawat House. The girl stretched herself, trying to ignore disturbance in her sleep by frowning and trying to shield her face with her hands. She seemed so deep in her sleep with beautiful dreams of happiness, her beautiful face seeming more cute with her cute silent frustrated face.
Suddenly, her sleep was distracted by the shrill voice of alarm and the drowsy girl jerked awake sleepily and frustratedly opened her sleepy eyes. Patting her unruly hair, she looked upward toward the ceiling with a pout and said sleepily, "Good morning krishnaji" and then looked at the window. In her silky night clothes, she moved from her blanket and went to the open window, and stretched her hands and took a deep breath with smile appearing on her face. She smiled dreamily looking at the morning view outside.
Taani looked silently at the morning beauty of nature deep in thoughts. Suddenly her eyes fell on the calender by the window and she froze. Today was 30 September. Only the date was enough to make her feel gloomy. She closed her eyes. How could she forget. Today was the day when her world had changed drastically. Today was the day when every equation in her life had changed, her dreams had changed or rather...
She jerked out of the trance and sat on the bed and closed her eyes. Hot tears appeared in her eyes again. She could not control her tears.
She gasped, "Papa" and said with an effort, "Miss you."

She felt weird. Her life had changed so much. She could not even remember the reason she used to live normally. And coming to Mumbai, it changed her so much. She barely remembered his face, his voice, but when she did, tears were the natural reaction.
Taani gasped, and took a deep breath. Kya kar rahi he Taani? Ho kya jata he tujhe? Kyun achanak se tut jati he? He's gone. Its been six years now, at least accept it now. But she knew the exact reason why she could not just accept it. Because she was guilty. Guilty of her cowardice, guilty of the betrayal of what she did to her father.

She looked gloomily at the view outside. Suddenly it didn't seem so beautiful anymore. Everything is changed. Her views, her life, her GS... her passion. Her dream.

Suddenly, the knock on the door made her come out of the trance.
Swayam: (with a coffee) Taani?
She jerked out of the trance and hurriedly wiped her tears in a way that no one could see it.
Swayam stood there at the door, looking sadly at her sister's back, while she was trying to compose herself. He knew she would be like that. It had been like her routine of this day. She still seemed equally sad and shocked by her father's death the way she seemed six years ago. And same as always, she would not say a word.

Taani managed a small smile and greeted her bhai in a small voice, "Good morning bhai"
Swayam looked at his sister's cute face and smiled and said enthusiastically, "Good morning miss butterfly"
Taani frowned slightly and told her brother, "Kya?" and took the coffee.
Swayam sat on the bed and told her, "Kya? Ese kya dekh rahi he jese pehle kabhi tujhe mene ese greet nahi kiya?"
Taani smiled, "Bahot wakht bad"
Swayam smiled, "True. Bahot wakht bad"
Taani smiled and sipped her coffee, "Not bad bhai. Mujhe nahi pata tha ki aapko coffee banana aata he"
Swayam looked at her face for a moment. It was obvious she was trying to distract him and she didn't want to talk about her dad. Defeated, he continued with his sister's acting.
Swayam: Taani, don't forget tum to abhi abhi aayi ho. Chhe sal se me hi khud ko akele feed karate aa raha hu.
Taani: (pouting) Acha? Aap to ese bat kar rahe ho jese aap hi sab kam karate the. Sab kam to kaka karate the na.
Swayam: (shifting nervously) Actually ye coffee kaka ne hi banayi he.
Taani raised her eyes at her bhai's discomfort and laughed slightly.
Swayam smiled and started: Are you ready then?
Taani: (confused) kis liye?
Swayam: (raising eyes) Itani khud ki duniya me rehti ho kya. Aaspas ka kuch pata he? Aaj se teri nayi life shuru hone wali he. Shivam is your GS from today remember?
Taani: (irritated) Thanks for reminding me bhai. (standing up and going to kitchen while Swayam followed) Wese hi subeh se mera mood kharab he, aur aap or kharab kar rahe ho.
Swayam: (leaning towards the kitchen counter) Hmm. To meri bachi ka mood kharab he? I wonder why?
Taani froze, with anger overcoming her. She started washing her cup with more than required force. He knew, he never forgot. Agar yad he aur ye bhi pata he ki muje bat karana acha nahi lagata to kyun irritate karate rehte he double meaning talks se.
Swayam: (observing her nervously said) Acha wo sab chhodo. Tum kal Samrat ka call kyun attend nahi kar rahi thi? Do you realise wo kitana worried he? Aur tumhari mom?
Taani: (glad for the change of subject) Kya bhai? Aapko pata he na, Samrat bhai bilkul aap jese he. Typical Indian possessive bhai. Ek lal charan to ek kali charan.
Swayam: (frowning) Kali what? Ye tumne kese nam diye he hum dono bhai ko?
Taani: (chuckling) To aur kya karu bhai. Aap sab bhai itane phenomenal ho. Sab ek ke upar ek namune. Aur uparse mom. Jab bhi Samrat bhai call karate he, mom ko de dete he phone. Aur phir mom ki gadi chalu ho jati he. Questions pe questions, questions pe questions, questions pe questions. Esa lagata he me KBC ki quiz de rahi hu, with no gifts.
Swayam: Hehehe. Ye bahot funny tha. You are great at PJs. Kabhi hansi hi nahi aati.
Taani: (pouting) At least me attempt to karati hu. Aapke jese nahi, hamesha serious face. (with Swayam's imitation of serious intense face) Dekho Taani, me tumhe sirf yahi kehna chahta hu, ki tum apna focus rakho. Life me esi moments aati rehti he, par tumhe apne aap pe trust rakhana he. Trust your ability to irritate people. Trust me, tum bahot acha karati ho.
Swayam looked horrified at Taani while Taani imitated him and said: Ho gaya?
Taani looked chuckling at him: Ha ho gaya.
Before he could kill her, she went away from their laughing to get ready.
Swayam sighed. This girl is a mess. Mujhe nahi pata tha ki meri behen itani mature ho gayi he, itani caring ho gayi he. Kabhi apni problems nahi batayegi mujhe, tumne mujhe kuch nahi bataya Taani. But now I know. Isiliye me hamesha chahta tha ki tum yaha aao. Me janata hu, tum kya regret kar rahi ho, kis bat se sad ho. And I know whom to blame for that. But I promise Taani, not anymore. Your life will rock again Taani. I promise. Bahot jaldi me tumhe ye realise karva duga, ki you can't live without your passion.

I suck at suspense. Well, you all know now what drastic change was going to come in TaaRey equation. So sorry. Expect some aggressive messy romance. Gonna write for the first time. I hope the chapter was good.

Guys, is bar mujhe bahot se alag comments mile the, jo me hamesha se expect kar rahi thi. I know, a lot of you are wondering ki ye kesa ff he? Its nothing new, just d3. I want to confess, ki ye sab mene isliye likha tha kyunki it was very important. The real track starts now, but these 64 chapters were necessary, because I wanted you all to have the link to Taani. Taani is a very different character in this ff and I could not start the track before you all understood her, or it would have been hard to digest. But I am so happy, you all have been so sweet with me. So sweetly you write ki D3 ki yad dila di, ye nahi ki kuch naya nahi likha😆 and I love you for that and I am sorry for boring you. I am writing after a long time, so I think the writing is messy, but I hope I can be back soon. Sorry if its disappointing,😳 I am trying to write but don't know whats happening. Be back soon.
