I don't know what on earth am I writing but I know you are the cause. You are my best friend!! Some one who had always been there for me no matter what. Stood by me through thick n thins. You tolerated me when I behaved like a lunatic ,you were there when I simply was out of control or simply there keep up with my tantrums. You have always been there. Okay now I know I sound so dramatic but again you are to be blamed for this. Remember when we were in kindergarten together and you would snatch my chocolates and run away. I remember those days when we would sit back and enjoy those lazy weekends at my farmhouse, the birthday parties, the boring family functions, bunking classes and running away to the nearest CCD and MacD ,gosh that was fun!!.. I do cherish every single moment that I have spent with you. I wonder what would have I done if I hadn't met an idiot like you, you are a priced possession Swayum Shekhawat and you will always be. But between all this chaos, I don't know when did I ,uhh ..I don't know ? fell for you? Err .. I mean c'mon! I have known you from umm I guess all my life ?.Never had I thought I would umm..have feeling for youI would fall for my best friend! But I did...

"Sharon!!, are u deaf or what??! ..If u remember you are supposed to attend to guests when you call them!! "shouted Swayum calling her for the umpteenth time.

"Don't over-react Swayum! told you I am coming" shouted back Sharon from her room.

"Yeah I have been hearing that from past thirty minutes".

"Wait Swayum, coming" she said this time a bit softly.

He sighed

She quickly kept the note in her dairy and fluttered downstairs.

"What Swayum?" she asked.

"Shouldn't that me my question? ...why did you call me" he asked looking at her. She was dressed in a beautiful white knee- length dress, she looked beautiful, well she always did.

"Oh I had to go shopping" she said casually.

Swayum looked at her more like stared at her in disbelief.

"And that's why you called me? ...ugh Sharon, you know that I usually wake up at 12 on Sunday morning and here you are ruining it" whined Swayam.

"You are such a lazy bum"

Swayum stuck out his tongue in its reply

"Well whatever, its already ruined and you are already here, so lets go"

He sighed

"Hate you"

"Mutual feeling sweetheart"

She took her bag and headed towards the door

"Coming?"

He shook his head and then followed her outside.

Sorry for the delay everyone. This is the last and the most important chapter and well we actually believed we were in writers block, but we have tried our level best and wrote this update. We really hope you all like it. Thanks to everyone who waited so patiently for the update. 🤗

So finally, posting the last chapter and the epilogue. We hope we provide a bearable read if not good. Thanks guys for all the support and encouragement, it helped a lot.😳

"Swayam bus stand! " she said.

Swayam gave her a confused look but before he could say anything she took his hand and started running towards the bus stand.

"Shar..Sharon.." he said sitting beside her on the plain stone slab under the bus stand shade.
"What?"..I wanted to come here!" she said flashing a big smile.

He was about to say something but then why to argue with Sharon, he already knew she was crazy or so he had concluded. So he rather gave her a look which said the same.
She didn't say anything rather sat quietly there.

He looked at her and soon found himself adorning those big hazel eyes, those beautiful curls, her cute little nose, her baby pink lips, her perfect face'damn she was no less Greek goddess!. Just then a car passed by and the sound of its horn got him out of his 'ghurring' session. He mentally kicked himself for openly looking at her like that. And soon found himself arguing with his conscious over this topic, yet again. He time he was able to convince himself but somewhere down he knew that he should confront her about all this. But rejection and moreover an 11 year old friendship breaking was something he didn't think he would be able to handle. Sigh. But he should take his chances to otherwise he surely turn a madman.

She thought she saw him looking at her but brushed the thought aside blaming it on her new found or rather finally admitted feelings. She will have to tell him about all this, ASAP! But how? And how will he react? She chuckled at her own thoughts, she couldn't believe she was talking about the same Swayam whom she could talk about anything and everything and not care about his reaction at all, his presence and well he being there was all she ever needed. Sigh, she just didn't want anything to change, though she knew if she would continue acting so crazily around him, he would drop her off to a mental asylum one day. I just hope nothing changes Swayam. Love changes people, I have heard I hope we don't, she said to herself. And as soon as she said so, she smiled, Love, how weird does that sound!.

Breaking the silence, Swayam finally spoke up.

"Sharon..err..umm lets go"

She looked at him and nodded. Both got up.

"Sharon..*sigh*, wanted to say something'umm.."

She looked at him and then started looking forward.

"Sharon its'just that.."

They both stopped in their tracks and were standing at the middle o the road now.

"Sharon.."

"I love you Swayam" She said looking forward not meeting his eyes.

Silence covered the atmosphere. It took a moment for him to let the news sink in. sigh, he stood there numb. He didn't how to react he just couldn't believe what he had heard. And when finally his brains registered the news he smiled 32 inch.

"Stop smiling duffer!..i told you something..you..too..umm" she stared at him and then started looking here and there.

He smiled at her innocence. He went near her and held her hand. She looked at him. He took a step forward lessening the already small distance between them Sharon didn't react, she was lost in the warmth of those beautiful pair of brown eyes.

"I knew it!" Swayam said bringing Sharon back to her sense.

She looked at him and din't knew how to react and so chose to shout!. He could she her expression turn from confusion to anger, well what else could you expect?. He mentally kicked himself for speaking stupidly in excitement. And before she could say something he hugged her. She was bit taken aback. He left her and then spoke with a little calmness this time, "I love you too Sharon" he could instantly see her face light up, he continued," Okay, this is what I wanted to tell you now and well from many months. But you know me!. Yeah, idiot me!. But I love you, I really really love you Sharon" he said and again took in an embrace. This time she too responded. They stayed like that for a while when Sharon felt something odd. A tiny little rain drop.

"And this is SO cheesy!" Sharon said breaking the hug and looking at the sky and muttering curses.

Swayam laughed at her expression.

"Hey! ...ice-cream!" Sharon said jumping like a kid. Damn, she was so adorable.

"Lets go its already late, I think he is closing" Swayam said. And both started walking in its direction.

What they didn't realize or didn't complain about was, they were holding hands. It would generally be Sharon who would retort to such things as she had always hated such stuffs but well, maybe, that wasn't after all a bad thing, she thought. Holding hands, jumping like a lunatic in the middle of the road with the person you love, she smiled. And the rain just completed the picture perfect scene. It wasn't that bad, she concluded.

Both reached the ice-cream street side stall. He asked for two chocolate fudge ice-creams and didn't bother to ask her as he already knew her choice very well.

He handed her both the ice-creams and was paying the shopkeeper when he felt a tug at the elbow. He turned around only to find the same little stranger he had met a few days a go. He pays the person quickly and asked the boy.

"Hey!. You here ?"

The boy looked at Swayam and forwarded the ice-cream I his hand in front of him.

"You know you ask silly questions" he said and started laughing.

Swayam who had got used to such reply from the kid laughed along with the kid.

Sharon who had been standing behind Swayam all the while looked at the duo quizzically. She went and stood beside Swayam and fake coughed a little to attract the attention.

The little boy looked at her for a moment and then grinned looking much adorable. He turned to Swayam.

"So finally!. Congo, after al it was me who gave you advice"

"Swayam chuckled and said,

"Oh, thank you sir!" saying it so innocently. Both laughed.

"I got to go, mom will be waiting and yeah she is pretty" he said smiling at Swayam. He then turned to the Sharon winked at her and waved both of them bye and went away.

"What was that? And who was he" Sharon asked him looking at the boy's retreating figure as he ran towards a lady.

Swayam smiled at her and said, "nothing...he is a friend".

Sharon didn't ask him anything more. They both sat down on the bench on the pathway and decided to hog on their ice-creams first.

Swayam was struggling to start a conversation started looking blankly at the road. Whereas Sharon who was in no better condition, chose to concentrate on her ice-cream. As a few minutes passed they both sat awkwardly and wishing for the other to break the silence. Finally Swayam looked at her and as cupid may have wished Sharon too turned towards him at the same time. Both looked at each other silent for a moment and then burst out laughing.

"You look cute when you are confused" Swayam said

"You look cute when you are nervous" Sharon replied.

"Swayam,*sigh* I'I really don't want things to change'this new feeling, I don't know, I'm really scared" Sharon said looking at the ice-cream.

"Sharon, honestly I'm really scared too' I really hope this relationship works out, this is the reason I didn't confess 'I can't afford to loose you Sharon, I simply can't".

Sharon looked at him and could see the warmth in his eyes. She held his hand and whispered,
"You won't Swayam'This relationship will work, we will make it happen, I love you and I'm not letting you go off so easily, got it mister!" she said with a huge smile.

Swayam smiled looking her, "who's leaving you anyway, I love you and you love me!" Swayam said looking like a1 year old.

"By the way who's so brave to bear you other than me huh? ...no one!" Swayam said and got a light punch on his shoulder.

As they finished there ice-creams and sat there talking, the lightening struck and almost soon it started to pour.

"Swayam'

"Sharon'

Both looked at each other, smirked and ran off toward the main road which was now deserted due to rain and well it was late night.

Both started jumping and dancing like kids. They ran, played with small puddle, danced like a lunatic and well enjoyed. The moment was so pure and beautiful that they wish they could capture it for a lifetime. As they held hands, hugged and laughed there, they knew they would be happy. And be with each other. Always.

"ahhh!!!!..." Swayam shirked and jumped like a girl.

"wha..What happened?1..crazy or what?!!"

"BHOOTNI!!!'"

"What..what the hell Swayam"

"Actually your mascara got spoiled in rain and you look no less than a bhootni and Ig ot scared!"

Swayam said making a terrified face"

"Swayam Shekhawat! "

"Yes..girlfriennnddd" he said now making baby face and stepping few inches back.

"You are SO dead!" Sharon said moving towards him.
