Hi Segad,

Initially i hadn't given the surgery much thought and just related paralysis to the brain/spine problem. But after reading your comment, I happen to do a little study about this. 😉

Primarily, when the blood supply is cut off to the brain, it results in paralysis. Paralysis is basically when the voluntary motor function of any part of the body stops. Now this blood supply may be cut off due to many reasons i.e. a clot forming in the brain, or a vein bursting (also called an aneurysm), or the blood flow stopping to reach the brain. I believe Shashi had a stroke and one of the many consequences is paralysis because the blood doesn't reach the brain at the time of the stroke.

Now in most of the cases, there is no complete cure for stroke-induced paralysis. But researchers are working on a method to use stem cells in the spinal fluid to try to refresh the damaged nerves. This is still a work in progress. So ya in a way I assumed that our doctors already know how to work on it 😛

Cliffhanger kahan tha? woh teeno to bechare Raghav ka wait kar rahe hain.. agar andar jaane ke baad I would written something like "Arnav's eyes widened in shock, a cold shiver ran down his spine as he realised what he was seeing right in front of him" and then would have ended the chapter then log pagal ho jate saying cliffhanger!!! 😆

Each one of them so insightful 😊 yeah I happened to enjoy writing in Arnav's POV too.. something different I tried and thankfully people liked it.. mostly my other fictions are not screenplay-format. But I want to keep the novelty of this style alive by getting it out in the most surprising of times.
