First she was afraid to look to light, because she was used to darkness or she opt darkness than Arnav.The soothing hands refers to Doctor's and Aman's hand...Then she feel what if I again surrounds with darkness...she cant trust Arnav.That not her mistake.Because of you Arnav. then for her little champ who grows in her she took courage and she is moving towards light Arnav is trying but he fails...She is responding not for you Arnav but its for her baby...

Khushi described Arnav in her POV by her fear, the darkness within and then reaching the same light thu'gh Arnav but still failing...she described him as only footfalls she heard in the darkness which engulfed her being...but now that she is also trying to reach the light with help of Arnav, i'm sure she will succeed...
