Wow.

Really nice to know how she feels.
Agree it will take a lot of time for her to reach the light but atleast we know ahe trying and nt giving up!

One question though...in the last line she says that the footfalls fail again an again. But Arnav is still trying na? Did she say that because footfalls are not helping her to reach the light completely?

WOW Z!! This is so amazing..until now as I've said before also. I couldn't understand exactly what Khushi was feeling...she just seemed numb...you've given that numbness shape in this chapter so beautifully. She has reached a place where everything is a mere symbol a representation of her despair. She's become detached from the light and attached to the dark.

As for your last line, they always have a powerful effect. Redemption or healing won't come easy for Arnav. It will be hundred times more difficult for Arnav to bring her back than it took for him to turn her into this zombie. 👏

as for the Romantic in you and me, 😳 He is the one who turned out the lights in her world but it is from him that she now derives comfort.

Please don't make us so long next time Z! Honestly, it kills...

Nice update. Hopefully Arnav will be able to get through the emotional barrier and will be able to get Khushi back to normal. Hopefully khushi will be able to trust Arnav this time around.

Very well written... So Arnav is nothing to her apart from being a sound and I so wish that someday she would be able to tell him what he actually is to her and if that doesn't shame him then nothing ever will.

I can't say about other readers, but this story is absolutely clear to understand by the way you are leading it forward! I am loving it!

And by far, Ch 6 is my favorite! Love this lines. These are my favorite! Loved the way you put across the feelings and the fear!

As time passes, more specks appear to join the first one, beckoning me to come towards it. I am hesitant, reluctant. I am too tired to get up and walk. But the footfalls constantly tell me to reach the light. But the light is not enough, not big enough, not strong enough. I ask myself what if I reach the light and I am enveloped in the darkness again?

I finally reach the lights, but I cannot pass the threshold from darkness to light. The lights which looked like a huge halo, is actually like a sieve. I try to peek inside one of the holes to see the life beyond it. It is beautiful. The footfalls try to tear down that sieved curtain so that I can go over the other side. But the footfalls fail again and again…..

Perfect is the only word that I could use to comment this chapter. Every chapter of Destroyed as well as Unconditional is just getting better and better. U have reached the heights of the word "BETTER and BEST".
