The weather of Delhi was at its best, it was time for Navratri and Durgapuja, the Bengali Community of Delhi was on high spirits, C.R. Park, Hauz Khas, even in Subrata Park area , Dwarka, Noida the Durgapuja was the source of entertainment, many places were crowded by tourists.The melodious sound of shehnai , Bengali and Hindi songs were synchronized with the breeze...but none of them conveyed any message of happiness either to Arnav, or to Khushi..
Khushi was busy with the forthcoming issue of Random on diwali, all the day she used to spend in office, she barely talked to anyone in home, Payal was very worried about her, she was not being able to share this Akash as he was out of town for some work, but her time was being passed well, with her mother-in-law. Manorama was taking great interest in Durgapuja, she used to take Payal to the puja pandals.Then they used to take tour to Mehrauli side to visit Qutub Minar.
"Why are you so worried now a days khoon bhari taang?"
"Nothing, mother-in-law..just thinking about Akashjee.."
"He will be back before Diwali..won't he?"
"Hmm..."
Manorama looked at her for sometime..then said ,"Are you still worried about Phati Saree and Arnav?"
Payal gave a sad smile, "Don't know what they are cooking, things were getting normal, but now, the season is very festive, but Khushi is spending her days in office, same as Jethjee..this is not a good sign..."
Manorama sighed..said , "It will take time...ooh my god..look at them..isn't that Anjali..and..Damadjee..?Look ..there..they are fighting.."
Payal stopped her.."Let them fight..why should we poke our nose ? We will get to know eventually, whatever happening..we should get back ...else roads will be jammed.."

Adhiraj thought that if he can convince Arnav about his relation with Anjali, then things will be in his favour, but Arnav wasn't a tough nut at all, all he needs to do is to wait for the divorce.Getting into such vile arrangement i.e. framing Shyam in the infamous matter won't be necessary,he doesn't need Khushi's assistance at all..when he has Anjali's consent and Arnav's support.
With this confidence he gave several visits to Randhawa House this month. There he got to see the stern face of Devyani, uneasiness of Anjali, indifference of Arnav and clueless expression of Payal and Manorama, Khushwant was not there at any time.Adhiraj appologised to everyone in Randhawa House, things were getting normal between Rampal and Randhawas.
Moreover, Adhiraj had informed about Khushi's proposal to him about Shyam. Anjali got very angry on Khushwant and they had a heated conversation.
"You are having this in your mind Khushwant?"
"What is your problem then? I thought it will help you to get rid of the man... Court will listen to you..."
"This is not what I want...what if Adhiraj would have acted according to your plan?What would have been your explanation then..to me at least..leave other people.."
"I wish he would have done what I said, don't get me wrong that I want to make any harm to Shyamjee...the thing is Di...this man..this Adhiraj left you when you needed him the most, now he is back..he has no personal account with your husband.If ,then also he would have done that, then I would say that he is a characterless person..."
"What do you mean..?"
"Today, he is doing everything for you..when you are still unavailable to him.. right?He has an option to disclose you about my proposal..right? What if he had no other option than going by my plans...if he could set a man with whom he has no personal grudge, then who knows..tomorrow he wouldn't have done anything to you?"
Anjali was taken aback, Khushi went on.."How very convenient of him! After 12 years he showed up...where was he till date?And how he made the idea that he is the only option for you,how does he know that you have no chance to reconcile with your husband..?"
Anjali said.."Khushi...I don't want to reconcile with Shyam.."
Now Khushi got irritated..said ,"Give this bull shit to a KG student..I am not going to buy this...what do you think ..that I don't know where are you spending your time now a days?...Do you want me to believe that you and Shyamjee are negotiating about the post-divorce alimony or maintenance when you are with him? I saw Shyamjee also in a public place, none of his facial expression was showing that he is being deprived by any way...you want me to tell explicitly?"
Anjali's face became pale.."You know everything...why didn't you tell this to everyone yet?"
Khushi said with a sad laugh..." Why should I? You have to tell everyone..and my aim was not to upset you or threat you..you got me wrong..well..nothing new in that...but..you always had the regret that you never got to choose..you have a grudge on your life that it never gave you a chance to choose..that was the main reason of all your insecurities,correct me if I am wrong,well situation is changed ..life is changed..but life has given you a chance..rather a gift I would say ..TO CHOOSE...I did..everything to make you understand that now you can really choose, you got the chance which you looked for all your life.."
Anjali said.."Do you really think so..?"
"No, I don't think so..rather I know so, you have got a chance to give a chance to either of the one...Adhiraj who despised and betrayed you, now he wants to rectify his deeds, now he is repenting his sins...but it took 12 long years..don't you think that he is a bit late? And on the other hand, your husband..almost a decade he was with you..he tried his best to make you happy...now you have to choose, whom you will give the chance.."
Anjali was surprised , she was defending Shyam! " You are defending him after what he did?"..Anjali said..
"That was wrong in his part, but one wrong cannot overshadow everything he did for you..can't you see that he can get you back by Court notice , saying that you are having regular physical encounter with him, being a Lawyer he knows better, he can get you back in no time..but still, he is not taking that advantage, ,Adhiraj is pointing out Shyam's sins...but life never goes straight..it has ups and downs..talking about others' mistake cannot cover your own mistake..yet people do that..but the fact is we all make mistakes..although nature of mistakes are different, but..they are mistakes only..."
Anjali felt a lump in her throat..tears welled up..."Di, I don't care about Adhiraj or Shyam..but I care about you...your happiness..whatever your decision will be...I will be there for you..."..Khushwant said..Anjali couldn't stop herself..she hugged Khushi..with all her might..how wrong she thought about her..how much wrong...she also wanted Khushi to become able to choose,but Khushi actually made Anjali's way to choose her life..what she wanted to do for her, she did it for her in reality.

Khushwant was having really a tough time since the fight she had with Arnav. She felt miserable,neither she could stop herself from looking at Arnav when he sleeps, nor she could talk to him when he wanted to talk to her.Everyday Arnav offered her a drive to her office and way back to home, she refused to have tea with him, many times he offered for a holiday, she gave the excuse of work. Arnav wanted to reclaim her, but she was being lost day by day..
It's not about any other person, not about Anjali, Shyam..or Adhiraj...main thing is she and Arnav are not destined together.No matter how much effort they put ..but at the end of the day the past will shwallow the present.The ghosts of the past are so strong...it's not necessary to become able to be happy with a person whom you love...life is not about love only, it's about living also,and she cannot live with him, they can never be the reason of happiness of each other ... every night..she has to keep her hand on her mouth, to suppress her sobbing..Arnav just pleas to her helplessly...
One night, when Arnav couldn't take anymore after hearing her sobs..he hold her face and made her look at him, she closed her eye forcefully and refused speak to him.
"Khushwant...talk to me..sweetheart..yell at me , abuse me..but don't be like this.I can't see you like this..I will never question any of your action again...we will live the way you decide..please...look at me for once.."..She did not give any reply...
"Khushi..listen to me..you want to clear your accounts with everyone..right..? Do it..I will not stop you...we will live in a seperate house..just you and me, we are just surrounded by too many people, we never got a chance to be on our own..Khushwant..open your eyes.."
She literally unheard those pleading..and Arnav lost his temper..."Am I that bad? Am I torturing you that much?.." Khushwant got up and went to poolside ..Arnav followed her."Today you cannot walk off like that,you have to answer me ...tell me am I that bad?Do you really find me that detestful?.."..Arnav grabbed her wrist..said in a rough tone.."You have to tell me..what should I do to win you back..you are making me insane from past few days.."..
Khushi broke into tears...she was angry..she was pissed off...she started to hit Arnav '.she was hitting his chest by her fist..."What do you want? Can't you leave me alone..can't you give me minimum peace of mind...what do you think of yourself? You will do everything and appologise..and things will be alright?"..
Arnav's chest was paining because of random hits..but he didn't stop her..she could get hurt again..again her shoulder can get injured..Arnav clinched his fists...his jaws got tight..Khushi was constantly hitting him..and crying..."You made my life hell Arnav Singh Randhawa...why did you marry me...?.."
Suddenly her fist was shoved away from his chest..Payal pulled her by her right side...due to Akash's absence she was having disturbed sleep..she was roaming around the terrace,and saw the fight between them, she decided not to interrupt, but looking at Arnav's situation she had to interfere..
Payal shook her..."Hosh me aa...kyaa kar rahi hai? Is tarha koi seene pe maarta hai kya? Dekh inko..dard se chehra neela pad gaya inka...tujhe rok nahi rahe hain..kahin tujhe fir se chot na lag jaaye..."
Khushi was whimpering ...Payal said further.."Inhone jo kiaa so kiaa..tu karna kyaa chahti hai? Jaan legi inki?Mil jaayengi tere mann ko shanti...tu mujhe maar daal...tere saari dukhon ki wajah main hoon..mere hi bhalai k lia tujhe is ghar me biyah karna pada...meri jaan le le...maar daal mujhko..."
Khushwant became silent..she wiped her tears.." Jis haivaniyat se tujhko nafrat rahi hai humesha..aaj wahi haivaniyat tujhme ghar kar gayi hai...Khushi..hosh me aa..."...Payal said..and dragged Khushi with her.."Chal tu mere saath..tujhe yehan nahi chhor sakti main..."
And then Arnav stopped her..."Payal..thank you so very much for your concern, but she will not go with you..."
"But..Jethjee..she is very furious now.."
"Doesn't matter...she is my wife, it's my responsibility to calm her down..you go and sleep..thank you and good night.."..Arnav left no room for any further arguments..
Arnav felt a sharp pain in his chest..he needed to take full breath..he drank a glass of water..took a deep breath..said.."Come..it's already midnight..we should sleep...come..."..Khushi remained stubborn. Arnav had a strong urge to wring her neck..but he controlled..
He was half asleep..it was 2 am in the morning..suddenly he felt her palm on his chest.."Is it still hurting..Arnavjee?"..Arnav's heart ached hearing her sad voice...how can he make her understand that it hurts even more when he fails to win her trust..again and again.."I am sorry Arnavjee..I don't know what got into me.."..Arnav could not stop himself and pulled her mouth into his mouth.first she got stiff, then she released her tongue against his..Arnav started to take off his clothes...then undid her clothes..
"Don't fight with me anymore..we had enough fight..."..Arnav said while teasing her with his finger and nail.He continued to kiss her.. "Aaahhh ..Arnavjee..."..Khushi screamed a little when he pressed her bosom very hard ...he kissed there..took them into his mouth.Soon Arnav reached to the climax.
After an hour, when Arnav leaned against her then she kissed him..Arnav pinned her under him again..she looked away...Arnav smirked.." I am sure you are not going to pretend that you didn't like it..I am sure that your heart also aches for me as my heart aches for you...by the way..is it hurting?" Arnav said pointing at her bosom..."You screamed that time..."
"You didn't hit me there...as I ...hit you..."
"Still, your hand are too soft and my chest is very hard... my hands are hard.. and..your...well, they are softest things I have ever touched..."
Khushi turned crimson red, he has no shame," Please, make love to me... Arnavjee.." ..Khushi said..
Arnav was shocked.."What are we doing from last one hour then?"
"Then leave me..if you don't want it again..."..Khushi said flatly...
"Leaving you...? Never an option...but are you sure that your shoulder will not pain?"..Arnav said in a concerned voice.In reply she encircled his waist with her legs and welcomed him into her. Arnav had her nail marks on his back..blood line came out...

"Anjali,you can't deprive me,like this.I will not let you...", Anjali remembered the heated argument with Shyam. Since past few days, Shyam was having a doubt on her physical condition, today he forcefully took her to Doctor...yes.. she is pregnant. Almost third month of her pregnancy.That means , on the very first encounter during the seperation , she has become pregnant.
"I want this child Anjali...you can't abort it...for Adhiraj you cannot kill this unborn..Anjali, I had tolerated enough..but I will not tolerate this..."
"It is what you think of me...? Damn it..you think such low about me?"..
"Then tell everyone..that you are pregnant..and there will be no divorce..and you will stay with me..in my apartment..."
" I can't..."
"See, I can claim you legally now..you know I can..but I won't...you know why? Because without your consent, I will do nothing...you will come to me...I will not force you...but in any circumstances, I will not tolerate that both of you are not well...I mean it..."..Shyam said touching her abdomen.
Anjali was pacing in her room...she thought what Khushi said, Shyam can claim her legally, but he will not..because by any means he doesn't want to disgrace her,her pregnancy will be visible within few days..everyone will get to know ...what will people think?..What Adhiraj will say?
"Stupid..you are still thinking about that moron?"...someone said inside her.. and she couldn't help but smile.
