A Dark Love

Her heart was heavy. Heavy with a mix of emotions and her body was looking like a dead creature, but she was not feeling the pain. Drenched in a cold sweat, her belly in tight knots, she thought only of her one chance to escape'only one chance but was that possible??She shrugged hugging her shivering body tightly and she collapsed with the floor, the tears gushed forward, followed by the hot bile rising in her chest, burning her throat, she was on the verge of loosing her soul'her body. To offset the panic welling in her breast, her thoughts turned to the person who suddenly appeared like a beast but then the next moment he let her go--- she was safe as for now. She gasped for precious air sending some oxygen to her lungs. What if he forced her to bed with him---No' the panic was back. How was she going to protect herself? Her heart sank to her toes in an instant and she hugged herself more tightly wrapping her arms around her. Paralyzed with terror she closed her eyes leaning back against wall. She cringed, remembering the way Mayank had crudely unbuttoned his shirt in front of her. She shuddered as she recalled the way he had approached her, and then he tried to use her on his bed as if she were an animal, a dumb animal without feeling or emotion, unworthy of tenderness or kindness.

A tear trickled down her cheek as she thought of tonight, and tomorrow night, all the nights that she had to spend with that heartless person. Angrily she dashed the tear away, furious with herself for succumbing to fear and weakness "I won't let him use me on his bed, I won't let him use to fulfill his desires'I won't". She sucked in breath resting her head on the wall.

Sunlight streamed in through the open windows and a breeze glided through the room, softly caressing his face and he fluttered his lashes getting annoyed still in half-asleep, he rolled over onto his stomach, burrowing his face into the pillow he again closed his eyes to soothe the sharp pain that was rising in his head but it didn't work, he groaned in pain and finally opened his eyes rolling on his back, In the bright light of the morning he gave a glance to his whole room and his mind abruptly cleared to see the scattered and broken things and mirrors on the floor, the last night event was now flashing in front of his eyes, The image---her image'tear-streaked face struck him, cleaved to his heart with an unremitting hold and he shrugged quickly roughly removing those flashes from his mind and shoving his short tousled hair out of his forehead, he pulled himself up into a sitting position and leaned back against the pillows, He startled and flung open his eyes as someone tapped the door, "Sir'breakfast is ready'do you want me to bring it in your room" the female voice of the maid came from the other side of the door , "No'I'll have later" he groaned irritatingly and shivering with fear she turned back towards the kitchen. He shoved his hands into his hairs and stood up on his heels walking up to his almirah.

"A daughter of a beggar" she let out a gasp of fear and her toes sank into the carpet found him sitting close to her, "don't---don't you try to'touch me" she stammered dragging her body away from him, His unhurried gaze lifted to her eyes and a wry smile quirked his stern lips when he heard the fear in her voice, "right now I am not in mood of any sexual encounter so don't worry you're safe as of now" his hands reached to touch her face but she averted her face away, His eyes were slightly narrowed, and a mocking smile touched the corners of his mouth as he deliberately touched her flesh and she shivered, "don't try to play with me a daughter of beggar" He leaned over her, turned her to face him and she lifted up her gaze at him, "don't think I'll let you live in peace" His fingers tightened on her face, harshly and with steely intent. A muscle leaped in his jaw, and his gaze was intent, Nupur broke off, speechless with raging frustration when she noticed that he had begun to shake with soundless mocking, an evil laughter.

"don't you think I am scared of you'I want to clear one thing Mr.Sharma I don't care what you called me or what you think about me but don't think I'll let you use me on your bed'Never"

She sneered in great fury and Mayank laughed out mockingly, "well, I'll see your guts today night" he twitched his lips in meaningful smile when he began prodding at her simmering temper, she lunged at him like a maddened mountain lion, all claws, her teeth showing too, as she spat, "don't try to force me devil, I won't let you use me ever"

Mayank held her wrist pining down them behind on the wall and she looked back in those deep eyes with fury shining in her eyes "you yourself will throw your body on me and let me use you on my bed---don't challenge me" Ignoring her gasps that sounded almost like sobs and the way

her head tossed back , he grated between his teeth, "don't challenge me ever'you will give me what I want from you" Still holding her arms pinned above her head, Mayank felt the sudden stiffening of all her limbs as he went on harshly, a tear trickled down on her cheeks blurring her image and suddenly he loosened his grip meeting his eyes with her for a flicker of second, he gasped air and dropped his arms standing on his heels, "you are a heartless creature" she whispered in a tortured voice, turning her head aside so that he could not see the sheen of tears that filmed her eyes, he gulps of air moving his eyes away from her face and for a moment closed his eyes shrugging the strange emotions from his heart, he slipped his hand into his pocket and took out some money dropping it in front of her, "you can buy some clothes for you but don't you think to step out the house alone,I've said Mrs Manish she will go with you" turning on his heels he slipped out the room and she took a breath of relief to hear the sound of the crunch of tires, he had been gone. She gasps hugging herself, she neither wanted to move nor to think. She wanted only to be able to fall asleep and to wake up in her own bed at home, discovering with relief that she'd only been having a nightmare. Home'with all its familiar sounds and smells and mornings cool enough to force her to pull her blanket up to her neck'the melodious voice of her mother and the hug from her father.
