Previous Chapter

CHAPTER 2

The whole Kashyup family greeted the Raizada family. "Is she the same girl who I am gonna see?" Arnav wondered. He really wished that. They all sat on the sofa. Both the family talked but Arnav's eyes were searching for Khushi. Finally Arnav's mom asked about Riya. "She is coming." Said Naina.

"Oh there she is". Naina pointed towards Riya who was coming to them holding a tray in her hand. And then he saw Khushi. "Why is that girl holding the tray? Oh my! Is she the one? Damn!" Arnav ran his hands through his hair. Riya came and served everyone with tea. Khushi sat beside Naina. Arnav was looking at her. He didn't even know when Riya served him the cup of tea and it slipped off his hand. Some of the tea fell over his shirt and jeans. "Oh I am so sorry!" Riya said. "No it was my mistake." Arnav said.

"Riya show him the washroom." Naina told Riya. "No let her be here. Khushi you go!" Riya's aunt Pooja said staring at Khushi. She hesitantly got up from the sofa and came towards Arnav. "Come, I will show you the washroom" Khushi said. Her voice! He felt his breathing stopped at that moment. He got up and followed Khushi.

"Is this her room?" He wondered when they stepped into a room. "Here take it" she handed him a towel. He took it and stepped into the washroom. Khushi waited there. Arnav spent almost 5 minutes just staring at the mirror and asking himself that was it a dream. He slapped his face several times and said. "Yaar! Its not a dream!" he felt so happy! Finally he met her! But now he has to tell his family about this.

"So Riya do you like Arnav?" Meera asked smiling. Riya nodded. "Oh now we will have to wait for Arnav's answer." Said Pooja. "He said yes! He likes Riya a lot" Rohan said. Everyone smiled. "Oh that's good. So its fixed! Arnav will marry Riya" Everyone said in joy. Rohan grinned unaware of the big mistake he has done.

Arnav stepped out of the washroom. Khushi's mouth dropped open as she so him. His shirt was totally wet. "What happened?" Khushi asked holding back a chuckle. "Errm nothing" he smiled. Khushi started laughing. "Give the shirt to me. I'll iron it" She said trying to stop the laugh. "Okay" With that he started unbuttoning his shirt. Khushi quickly turned her back to him. "Shameless!" She muttered. Arnav handed the shirt to her. She got out of the room without giving a glance at him. "She is too sharmili type! And I love it!" He smiled.

"Why are they taking too much time?" Meera asked. "This Arnav might have done something wrong! Rohan go and see" Meera laughed. Rohan got up and entered the room. "Arnav!" He screamed out of joy! "Oops" He muttered when he saw Khushi there. "yes?" She asked. "Where is Arnav?" He asked. "He is in the room next to this"

Rohan ran to the room and hugged Arnav tightly. "Where is your shirt?" he asked looking weirdly at him. "Its with Khushi." He smiled. "Rohan! I still can't believe I found her! I found Khushi!" Arnav said with joy. "Khushi?" Rohan asked. "Khushi!" He screamed when he got what Arnav said. "Uhh buddy, I have got to tell you something." Rohan was really scared. "Whats wrong?" Arnav noticed the sudden change in his tone.

"Ghalti se mistake hogaya yaar! I thought its Riya whom you love" Rohan said closing his eyes tight. "So?" Arnav raised his eyebrow. "So I told everyone that you love her and you are okay with this marriage" Rohan told in one go. At first Arnav froze. "Yaar tu theek hai?" Rohan touched his shoulder hesitantly. "Duffer! When did I tell you that I love Riya?" Arnav was mad at him. "Arre you only said that Bhabhi is at the balcony." He said. "So what? How the heck did you see Riya there? It was Khushi who was there!" Arnav roared. "Dhekh mujhe bhi shout karna aata hai! Is it my fault that Riya showed up when I looked at there?"

He had a point! Arnav thought. "But what was the need of saying that I love her? Have you gone mad?" Arnav was really worried. "I told that in excitement! And why is she having your shirt? Whats cooking dude?" Rohan tried to change the topic. "She is ironing.." He glared at Rohan. "But that's not the topic!" he shouted.

Just then Khushi entered at that moment. "Oh sorry did I came at the wrong moment? I think you were discussing something." She asked. "Jab dhikhna tha tab toh nahi dhikhi, ab kyun dhikhi?" Rohan muttered biting his nails. He himself didn't know what he was saying. Arnav stepped on his foot. "No no! Its okay." Arnav tried to sound calm. "Here is your shirt" She handed his shirt to him and went out of the room. Arnav glared at Rohan.
