As for cynicism, yes one can develop it having observed the business of life and relationships that surround one, and as someone pointed out it is a passionate person's defence against hurt.
Yet I feel that it is personal experinece of the pinches and punches of life that creates the real cynic, one needs the kicks of reality to boot up the cynic that lives in us all.

This Arnav can't be so dense, can he? She owes him a bowl of sugar and he wants to find out what the liquid in the bowl she was returning tasted like. Freeloop's Arnav is not going to turn down a bowl of free liquid, is he? He will be rather disappointed if that bowl of made-by-Khushi (or bought-by-Khushi) liquid was only a one-night offer.
