emotional he lost the most important people in his life the guide his parents and then his sister very heartbreaking to kill the pain did drugs both of them have a lot in common just they don't know it thanks for the pm loved the update

What Arnav went through is really tragic man... parent's death, n specially his di's death affected him ... N that explains his behaviour to some extent n his hatred 4 d peaceful n calm surrounding as it brings back old memories to haunt him... n glad dat he cud overcome d terrible habit of substance abuse, else he wud have wasted away his life totally... u brought out his pain so well...

He may hate the time he has to spend at the house, but it is going to provide ample opportunity to introspect and soul search. Agreed the conversation with Kashi stirred a few suppressed memories and though unpleasant it did get him thinking.

It must be difficult for a person like Arnav to be lonely, sure he may like being alone most times, but who likes loneliness, not even him. The irony is not lost on us, a place as beautiful as the KH does not have a calming effect on him. It is not necessary for him to like the place nor does he have to treat it as anything else but a property to acquire, but the tranquility a place can offer so close to nature is lost on him.

In many ways Kashi and Arnav are similar I feel, both are determined, hardened and strong individuals, matched in many ways, yet different as chalk and cheese. It will be our undoing to expect anything normal or as you say predictable from the two, alone or together.

Wonderful heart wrenching updates.

Good question, in the girl versus boy debate, how much is too much which I have never been able to find an answer to.

Growing up, never went looking for a ladies line or a ladies seat. Was comfortable standing in a neutral line as long as the other people in the line also looked at you neutrally, neither up nor down. The moment you were pushed into because of simply being a girl, it was only then the eyes started looking for a ladies line.

Your take is quite fair. Interesting POV and it is taking root.

There are a lot more parallels in their lives than apparent and then yet again fundamental differences. This ASR has been well sketched and justified as the man he has become. Will the hardness of the man soften at all and that too in one week? It would be a miracle.
