Khushi was standing on the balcony of her newly found familys huge house...over looking a huge swimming pool... dazzled...Eyes closed...and suddenly she felt a tug at her heart..that made her open her eyes n look up in the dark sky lite by stars n she whispered Arnav jee...She wanted to run to RH...but she knew that was not possible...Arnav jee r u missing me?...like im missing u...the silent breeze blowing...her words lost in the night...
Khushi was very upset...What did happen today? She was so confused... She had cried...The minute she was dragged to the waiting car by Amma...she had started crying...Amma dont take me away...plz...i cant live without Arnav jee..
The other lady that was with Amma turned n said...Look behind u...has anyone come to stop u?
Khushi turned...she found no one there...The lady said again...If they had cared...they would have stopped u...n this guy Arnav...he would have run after u if he had loved u...
Khushi was dumbstruck...she couldnt defend any of them... she started to cry and Amma made her sit in the car... When they reached a huge house...it looked more like a hotel...they got off n said...from today this is ur home...
She didnt want to go in...but she did and just went in and sat on the sofa...eyes down...Then she had heard her...her voice so pretty and going aaa ba ba...n khushi had looked up...n saw the most beautiful baby in the whole world...n all her worries n sadness forgotten...She smiled n went to her... The other lady was introduced to Khushi as Naina... her sister in law...n right now Naina was carrying the most beautiful baby...Khushi couldnt resist her and reached out to pick her... the baby didnt need another invitation...she practically jumped into Khushis arms...
The baby touched khushis face n smiled n Khushi was lost... All worries disappeared... Khushi started talking to her n she replied in her baby language and then Khushi started copying her... It was love at first sight... Naina laughed n said... shes ur niece Sonia...but we call her soni .shes 6 months old... Khushi laughed: oh she sure is as beautiful as her name... Whole day she was busy with Soni...The whole household was happy that finally they could see a smile on Khushis face...
Khushi had been introduced to her grandmother...who was a wonderful lady and khushi liked her a lot and called her dadi jee...And dadi jee kissed her n hugged her and cried and ask khushi to forgive her grandfather...Khushi hugged her and said...dont worry about it...Amma Garima raised me well...
Then Khushi had seen the pictures on the wall...Karan had shown her all...and she came n stood at one pic...it was an older version of Khushi...She looked at her bro n back again...
Karan...thats ur mom...
Khushi... she looks just like me...
Karan..yes thats how we found u...We saw u in the hospital..We were shocked to see you and thankful too... N then showed her their fathers pic and moved on...
And now it was night...Soni was fast asleep and Khushi was again left to ponder on the days event...Khushi was looking up in the sky and a tear escaped her eye...
Don't cry plz.. Khushi turned back...surprised.. Her brother Karan stood next to her... She hadn't even noticed him... He said... Why r u crying? Plz don't cry... Come... N he took her hand n led her to a sofa n made her sit n sighed... Do u know for how long we have been looking for u?
Aunty Garima changed ur last name...so that made it more difficult... When I was 7, dad fell in love n married ur mom... She was a very nice n kind lady... She loved me a lot too...
Chachu was a teenage then, and he also loved her a lot... She was like our mom... N u...he laughed... When u were born... U were a delight n such a beautiful baby... Just like my Soni... Khushi smiled... Her eyes twinkling at the name of Soni... Chachu n I both use to treat u like a doll and spoil u...U were the apple of our eye.. Then the accident happened... It changed our whole life... U were 8 and I was 15...
That day I again lost my mom... N also my dad... But I had this assurance that I had a baby sister who had suddenly become my responsibility... But chachu and I didn't know that grandfather hated ur mom so much... The min he could... He called Aunty Garima and handed u to her and said ... If u want this girl alive... Never let her near us... So that awful day I lost everyone...chachu was also very upset... But no one could defy grandpa... U were taken away from us... Khuhsi was listening n looking at her bro... N she could see the sadness darkening his eyes... She even could see tears... She leaned forward n hugged him.. He wrapped his arms around her n said... I'll never loose u now...And I don't want u to cry... Plz don't cry... I have kept everything that belongs to u...n moms pic too... Grandfather had burned all the rest..I have missed u so much...n i want u to be happy...ill do everything to make u happy...whatever u want...
Khushi asked...how come i dont remember much? Karan: well u went though a trauma...maybe thats y...dont worry we remember u, n thats imp...n he smiled... Khushi smiled too but it didnt reach her eyes...
Karan knew why she was sad... Then he asked... Do u really love him? She though for a while n finally blushed n nodded...
Karan.. N what about him? Khushi was perplexed... I don't know..Karan : do u want to talk to him? U can use my cell... Chachu has given strick instructions that u r not to talk to him or anyone from that house... But I won't stop u... If u want u can call him...use my cell n I have also told Naina to let u use her cell..be discreet and be happy... Ok... Khushi nodded... But he could see she was still upset...so he asked..whats troubling u tell me plz...Khushi... I don't know... He didn't stop me or came after me...how did he let me go so easily???Karan thinking... Hmmm... I think he does love u..rem when we came to take u.. How he dragged u behind him... Protecting u from us...
Khushi...but he didnt stop me...Karan... That's cause Aunty Garima dragged u out... He knew he had lost then...he wouldn't fight ur mom...
Khushi looked at her bro in awe...she had never though about this, that's y he didn't come after me...cause amma had come to take her... Otherwise he would have never let me go...She smiled...he will come for me...she said to herself...Karan could see the light in her eyes n hope...n smiled..come on sleep now...Soni will be all energetic for u in the morning...
Khushi smiled and started to walk to her beautiful huge room and she turned n asked Karan.. How did u know under what circumstance we married... We never told anyone... Karan just shrugged the question away... Don't worry about it...and kissed khushi on her head and wished her good night n left...
In the morning Khushi was busy playing with Soni when the phone rang...Chachu answered it... then he turned and called Khushi...
Khushi ran to ans it...Soni in her arms...
It was Payal...Jiji...khushi screamed...Oh JIji...how r u all??? I miss u so much...she was babaling away...Sonis in my arms shes such a pretty baby...and suddenly she went all silent...a light breeze started blowing and the words just stuck in her throat...Her heart beating fast...She grabbed the phone tight...breathing fast...words were not imp...she knew and felt him...Tears started flowing from her eyes...Arnav was also silent on the other side...He could feel her crying...he was about to speak and he heard a man on the other side...Hello who is it? ... Arnav shut the cell off...
Seeing khushi cry... Chachu had taken the phone and found it disconnected...Chachu looked at khushi and said...dont cry... all will be fine...u dont have to worry about ur life now...we will sort it all out...
Karan was looking from afar... and he knew who was on the other side...he promised himself...i ll try and fix things between them...
