Part 4:

Anjali quickly rushed to the door to greet her chotey, when she gasped as she noticed Khushiji in his arms.

"Chotey, what happened!?" She questioned touching Khushi's neck.

"Di, Khushi fell into the pool, she's such a clutz, you want me to marry this girl?" He asked crossing his fingers that Di would break off the marriage.

"CHOTEY, you don't say such things about women, any women, especially your fianc . Anyone can make such a small mistake, even I." Anjali stated, "Take her to the guest room and in the mean while I will ring up Garimaji."

After laying her down on the bed, Arnav went on to remove her shoes, and rud her feet until the felt warmer and she began to stir.

Anjali approached the room having called Garimaji who was coming in a bit with her husband to take Khushi.

Khushi stirred, "Amma, babuji……am I with you"

Arnav ccouldn't help but smile at her innocence, "No, you're with me, your husband, and you're safe, now sleep." He stroked her face.

Khushi subconsciously turned and trapped Arnav's hand under her cheek grasping it with her hands, Arnav smiled and nodded off himself, content with the creature in his arms.

Anjali saw the scene from afar and smiled to herself, "I knew you couldn't ignore your love for so long chotey." She quickly busied herself in household activities.

As morning dawned Arnav slowly opened his eyes, remembering the previous night, but Khushi was nowhere to be seen, he checked the whole room. "DIII." He called.

"Yes chotey," Anjali approached, biting her lips to refrain from smiling, she knew just what her chotey was looking for.

"Where's Khushi? She wasn't even awake, where could she be? Have you seen her?" He asked, worried without even realizing.

"Oh chotey, Garimaji came and took her quite some time ago, although it was so hard for us to make you let go of her." Anjali teased.

Arnav looked away, "She held my hand."

"But you're the one who didn't let go of the hand," Anjali stated matter of factly.

Arnav continued to do his morning activities, and get ready for the day, "Arnav remember, tonight is the sangeet!" Anjali called from downstairs.

Arnav sighed. "WHHHYYY!" He gasped.

Arnav spent the whole day in the office restlessly, as he prepared the contract for his marriage. He laughed, contract marriage, sounds like something on a TV show.

He finalized all the clauses and took off for home, not ready for the evening.

When he arrived home, everyone was ready, wearing their bright and traditional clothes, he quickly went to his room and changed into his blue shirt and grey blazor. "Why dress up when none of this is real?" He thought.

As the car arrived in front of the hotel, he frantically began to look for Khushi. Then he saw her, looking stunning in her orange choli, with the transparent duppatta he could see more of her silky skin then ever before, if Lavanya wasn't in his life, hhe would be crazy not to go head over heels for her. What was he thinking, knocking the thoughts away Arnav approached her, "We need to talk, outside"

She obediently followed, not questions asked. "Here you go. Sign it." He thrust a black portfolio into her hand and handed a pen.

The contract Marriage of Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada and Ms. Khushi Kumari Gupta.

The couple will be married legally for one year, in this year they are free to interact with other men and women, they will be staying in one room in the night however they will not indulge in any activities that can lead to any proof of marriage, in example, pregnancies. Arnav Singh Raizada will provide for Khushi Kumari Gupta's family during and after the marriage. No personal or physical emotions will be passed between the couple. After one year, this marriage will not legally exist unless the couple decides to do so, in which case, they will have to attend a court marriage. The family of neither individuals will be notified of this ordeal unless both parties speak to the lawyer before hand.

Khushi cried, cried at the words, cried at her fate, but even more, cried at the man before her, whom she dearly admired but who would od nothing more then leave her in one years time.

Unwillingly she signed the tear stained sheet of paper. And ran inside the hall before he saw her break down.
