yea its been like forever since i didnt write...what was it like....one and a half weeks? haha..i will be posting up the next part tomorrow....that is the 3rd of JULY...so dont worry =)

PART 7

Four months had passed and for the very first time, Angad and Kripa had held onto their relationships for this long. Their usual relationships lasted no more than 2 weeks. But this time all records were borken with both of them celebrating their 4 month anniversary on the same day. The couples decided to go spend the day at the beach.

Kripa woke up around 10 as usual and got ready for the day. She was really excited to be spending her day with Sahil and her best friend, Angad. Even though her excitement hadnt reached an all time high about spending her day with Tanya, she decided to ignore her annoyance of Tanya for the entire day. She never liked her and no matter how hard she tried, she never wanted to talk to her. But her love for Angad made her tolerate Tanya. After all, it was Angad's decision to be with Tanya and kripa wanted to respect this decision.

She hurried out of the bathroom when her cell phone rang. She rushed to her bed and grabbed her phone and in the process, she fell on the bed. She quickly pressed the "accept" button and took the call...trying very hard to breathe

K: hello mein bathroom mein......

S: Hi sweety! Happy anniversary

K: oh...im sorry.i mean...Happy anniversary..uhh meine socha ki tum angad ho...anyways, sahil where are you?

S:(change in tone) im on my way..ill pick you up at 11. ok?

K: 11? but angad ne kaha ke woh mujhe pick up kar lega...i think im gonna go with him ok? you dont have to come...umm...ill come with angad

S: angad? phir angad? come on kripa..its our anniversary...

K: I know but i promised angad...please?

S: you know what kripa.....ok whatever...i dont care. bye

K: sahil..sa...bye

Sahil hung up on kripa and Kripa called up angad.

A: hello?

K: yeah where are you?

A: uh..im gonna get out in 5 minutes. i need to call tanya.

K: call her? why?

A: i have to tell her that im gonna leave now so i can pick her up

K: youre gonna pick her up too?

A: ofcourse...its our anniversary!

K: yea right...ok! i just called to tell you that...that you dont need to pick me up....umm...i want to go with sahil

A: sahil? but i said i was gonna....

K: i know but you dont have to...i want sahil to pick me up. you have any problem with that?

A: no why would I? ok whatever...ill see you guys at the beach at 11:30

K: ok bye.

Kripa hung up again and threw her cell phone on the bed. She quickly finished dressing up and grabbed her keys to the car.

Sahil sat in front of his TV, staring at it but still not paying attention. He was still angry about what Kripa had said. This wasnt the first time that he felt like Kripa was spending more time with Angad. Whenever they went out, Kripa had to mention Angad's name. At first, Sahil hadnt thought too much of it but as time went by, he started noticing how much Kripa felt for Angad. She always called him when they were out for dinner, she always talked about him when they were alone. By now Sahil was getting frustrated. He sat in his living room, thinking about where their relationship was standing right now. Yes, it was 4 months already but in the last 2 months, nothing had moved forward. Sahil had found himself to be in love with kripa but never had the courage to tell her. Whenever he tried, Angad always came in the middle. He wanted to tell kripa how much he loved her today, on their way to the beach but once again, Angad had come between them. Suddenly there was a knock on his door and he slowly got up to get the door.

He opened it and was a little surprised to see kripa in front of him. He opened it all the way and went and sat on his couch again. Kripa sighed and went and sat next to him and rested her head on his shoulder

K: im sorry

S:(staring at his TV but still listening to kripa): --------

K: sahil!....sorry?

S: what difference does it make kripa?

K: maine sorry kaha na! please? aaj humara anniversary hai...

Sahil gets up in anger and throws the pillow on the couch..

S:(in anger): yahi to main bhi keh raha tha...aaj humara annniversary hai aur aaj bhi angad? thak chuka hu main uska naam sunn sunn kar.har baar sirf angad hi angad....

Kripa looked away a little with a drop of tear in her eye. This was one of the many conversations they had where Sahil told her that he felt like Angad was always dominating their time together. She controlled her tears and got up slowly. She went to Sahil and hugged him from the back and kissed his neck.

K: im sorry sahil. i shouldnt have....wont you forgive me this last time? i promise i wont ever let you down again

S: i heard this before

Kripa let go of Sahil and went and stood in front of him. She smiled and kissed his cheek gently.

K: sahil..dekho angad ki meri zindagi mein ek bohut hi special jagah hai...aur woh jagah koi nahi le sakta....lekin tum bhi to mere zindagi ka ek special hissa ho....and i....sahil..you know how i feel about you right? i mean its been 4 months and you have to be special to last this long with me...right?

Sahil looked at Kripa and smiled a little awkwardly. Kripa made him sit on the couch and looked into his eyes.

K: sahil..you are special to me and today i want to say that i never regretted spending any time with you and i just hope you felt the same...if you did, then you wont be able to be mad at me for long. im waiting in the car.

Saying this, kripa left to go to her car. Kripa sat down in the passenger's seat, almost confident that Sahil would come and sit in the drivers seat and they would drive to the beach together.

Sahil sat on his couch, thinking about what kripa had said to him. Like always, she had once again taken over his heart. Why did he let her do that? She always knew how to win him over when he was angry. But this time, he didnt want to do this.

S(thinking): kyon mein har baar usse apne jasbad se khelne ki ijazat deta hu? kyon nahi sambal sakta mein apne dil ko...kyon? lekin iss baar mein aise hone nahi doonga..i wont let kripa play with my emotions

Kripa sat in the car, a little worried about what would happen if sahil decided to not show up.

K(thinking): oh my god..agar sahil nahi aaya to? mein angad ko kya mu dikhaungi? i mean its our 4 motnhs anniversary aur woh stupid tanya bhi waha hogi. aur aise mein agar mein wahah sahil ke bina pohuchi to...aur sahil bhi....i think i hurt him this time...i need to make it up to him

Just then she saw sahil walk towards the car. She looked straight forward and tried to ignore sahil. he came and stood right next to her window. Kripa still didnt look at him. He went and sat next to her in the drivers seat and then looked straight into her eyes.

S: kripa...i need to talk to you...i wanted to..

K: sahil i know....mujhe maaf kar do please....mujhe pata hai ke mujhse ek bohut badi galati hui hai lekin...i wont let it happen again.im really sorry

S: kripa mein....

Kripa grabbed his arm and hugged him tightly. Sahil was a little surprised but hugged her back.

K:( in a few tears): im sorry sahil...i never meant to hurt you i never did....pata nahi kyon lekin meri harr koshish hamesha se na kamyab rehti hai....i promise to never hurt you again...i promise

S: kripa dekho....

Before he can say anything, Kripa kisses him gently and then lets go. She looks into his eyes with tears and then sits back in her seat, looking straight forward. Sahil took a deep breath and then smiled to himself. He looked at Kripa again but she didnt look at him.

S: kripa...(he whispered)

Kripa looked at him, her eyes still covered in tears. Sahil smiled this time and grabbed her arm so she could get closer to him. She felt a second of immense pain and before she knew, she was on him, with her arm around his shoulder. She looked into his eyes and he quickly kissed her forehead.

S:(looking into her eyes): Kripa...you always know how to win me over!! but this time kripa i want you to promise me something...bolo..wada karogi na?

K: (still looking into his eyes): kuch bhi...

S: promise me you will never ever leave me...wada karo kripa

Kripa continued to look into his eyes, without saying a word. There was something in his eyes that drew her in...like something that she wanted. She occasionally saw this in his eyes and everytime she did, she fell for him even harder.What was it that made her heart skip a beat? She never knew. She went closer to him, still staring into the eyes that hypnotized her. Soon enough, she was in his arms and she submitted herself into the known territory. It had been four months with Sahil, kripa thought, and she hoped it lasted longer...but she didnt know why she wanted it. All her teenage years, she spent only 2 weeks with every guy. She was never interested in a long term relationship. and even though Sahil was just another guy, there was something about him that kept her wanting some more. She wanted to know why she was so attracted towards him. and she was still searching for the answers...in the meanwhile, holding onto a relationship that had nothing really left to it.

Angad honked his car atleast 3 times before Tanya came running down the stairs of her apartment building. She hurried and sat in the car and looked at Angad. He looked at her in mild anger and then started to drive.

T: come on angad...sirf um...20 minutes to hue hai. whats the big deal?

A: 20 minutes? yo ive been waiting here for half an hour. tumhe kya? tum to kabhi mera intezaar nahi karti. last time you waited for 15 minutes and you were mad at me for 2 days.

T: i wasnt mad coz you were late. i was mad coz....(stopped what she was saying realizing something)

A: what? mad at me coz what?

Angad looked at her for a few seconds and then realized what she meant. He increased his speed and got even angrier.

A: oh just stop it tanya. hamesha kripa, kripa kripa!!! so i spend some of my time with her. so what? she's my best friend. im sick of this. why are you so jealous of her?

T(annoyed): jealous? me??? how dare you angad? im not jealous of some ******* whore!

Angad immediately stopped the car and grabbed her arm

A: uske bare mein kuch bhi bolne ki himmat bhi mat karna. do you understand?

Angad let go of her arm and left the car. He went and stood by the front of it and then leaned on it as he breathed. Tanya sat in her car with a few tears in her eyes and then calmed down a bit. She got out of the car and sat next to Angad. She held on to his arms as she spoke.

T: im sorry angad. na jane ghuse mein me kya kya keh gayi. i shouldnt have...im sorry.

Angad just stared straight forward.There was anger in his eyes and he didnt want to look at Tanya for a while.

A: tanya this is not the first time im hearing this. maine tumse hamesha se kaha hai ke kripa aur mere beech mein aisa kuch bhi nahi hai to phir kyon tum baar baar yeh sab...its not fair tanya!!

T: i know...im really sorry. mein bhi kitni pagal hu....i promise i wont say anything like this again. ok?

A: yea ok whatever.

Angad shrugged her off his shoulder and went and sat in the car. Tanya looked at him in a little bit of annoyance and then hurried and got into the car and they drove off.

Finally Angad and Tanya got to the beach a little late. They got out of the car to find Kripa and Sahil sitting on the beach, on top of the rocks. Angad quickly put his arm around Tanya and pulled her closer. Tanya was a little surprised at this as Angad hadnt spoken even a single word to her during the whole ride. She glanced at Kripa and the way Angad looked at her everytime she was with Sahil. This made Tanya a little insecure but she ignored her feelings just so that she wouldnt hurt Angad. They both walked towards kripa and Sahil. Angad looked at them, both enjoying the view on the beach. When kripa saw angad aproach them, she quickly pushed off Sahil's arm off her shoulder and walked towards Angad. He let go of Tanya and kissed Kripa on her cheek. Both sahil and tanya looked on enviously.

A: hey kripa...whats up yaar?

K: kuch nahi....bus aise hi...umm woh do din pehle......

T(interrupting them): congrats you guys!! 4 months together....how sweet!!

In the meanwhile, Sahil walked towards kripa and put his arm around her waist. Angad looked at them and quickly put his arm around tanya's shoulder as well.

S: thanks tanya...congratz to you too...

A: thanks sahil!

K: ok guys...uh lets go eat something?

A: yea sure i think we should...

T(interrupting again): no!! i mean...yea we should but whats the hurry? its just 12. hmm...i wanna spend some time with Angad. and im sure kripa wants to spend some time with sahil too. right kripa? (looking at her sarcastically)

K: uh yea...sure. ill see you guys back here in some time

Tanya looked at Sahil and smiled. The couples walked away from each other in the opposite directions. Sahil pulled Kripa closer to him and they walked away. Sahil looked back at Tanya and mouthed a " thanks" to her and Tanya nodded her head acknowledging it.

An hour later....

Kripa walked towards the restaurant and sat down. At the same time, Angad walked towards the restaurant and saw kripa there. He glanced at her. She seemed angry and Sahil wasnt around. He immediately understood what was happening. He walked towards her and sat down. Kripa looked at him and smiled.

A: once again?

K: yea. angad koi humare iss rishtey ko pehchanta kyon nahi? i mean im sick of Sahil misunderstanding our relationship

A: tell me about it! tanya to har waqt ek hi baat kehti he ke mein har waqt sirf tumhare bare mein sochta hu. i mean how ridiculous. kyon na sochu? youre my best friend after all!!

Kripa giggled a little and put her hand on his.

K: angad shayad koi bhi kabhi bhi humare iss rishtey ko nahi samajh payega!

A: shayad...lekin kya hum bhi kabhi iss rishtey ko samajh paye hai?

Kripa looked into his eyes, not knowing what he was trying to say.She saw the same thing in his eyes that she recognized again...something that she wanted to see. Angad looked away and then went to the bar to get some drinks for them. Kripa continued to ponder on what he had meant. Just then Sahil approached Kripa's table. Kripa quickly got up and looked at him.

S: kripa we need to talk

K: why sahil? have you not said enough about angad?

S: angad? no i need to talk to you about...about us!

K: what do you need to say?

S(looks at Angad at the bar): yaha nahi...kahi aur..

K: lekin sahil....

Before she could finish what she was saying, sahil grabbed her wrist and dragged her out of the restaurant. When angad turned around with the drinks, all he saw was sahil dragging kripa out of the place. Angad put the drinks on the table and wondered what was happening.

Sahil dragged kripa towards her car and made her sit on it. Kripa looked at him and wondered why he was doing this, but didnt say anything.

S: kripa maine bohut socha...i thought a lot about us. and everytime i think of you, i get scared.

K: scared?

S: yea...im scared kripa....scared of losing you forever. i lost anjali and i never got over her until i met you....i dont want to lose you this time

Kripa gulped down a huge amount of saliva down her dry throat as she predicted what sahil was about to do.

S: kripa...(he held her shoulders): kripa i wanted to tell you this for the longest time but i never could.

Kripa looked away out of fear and then Sahil touched her cheek with his hands and made her face him. kripa slowly looked into his eyes and something attracted her again. This time she looked deeper into his eyes and something made her realize what his eyes kept on saying to her all this while. She searched hard for everything she wanted.

S: kripa...I love you...

His words echoed in her ears and her shock was reflected in her eyes. She looked at his eyes one last time and then suddenly shut her eyes as she could no longer take the impact of her revelation.

No!! This cant be true. His eyes cant remind me of Angad's...no! everytime I look into his eyes, I see Angad..but why? Why is it that everything about him reminds me of Angad? Everything he does...the way he walks, the way he talks, the way he...does everything. I have never met someone so much like him....is this why i wanted to be with him? NOO....this is not true..that is not the reason why.....this cant be it...i mean all angad is...is my best friend...nothing more.

Suddenly Angad's words came to her mind.

lekin kya hum bhi kabhi iss rishtey ko samajh paye hai? what did he mean by this?

Sahil snapped his fingers in front of her. She quickly escaped the trance and gazed at him. Still, she couldnt stop thinking about what she had just realized. The only reason that she had been with sahil for this long was because he was so similar to Angad. Everything about him reminded her of angad. She gasped a breath a air and tried to calm herself down. She looked at Sahil but her eyes couldnt stand his sight for long. She quickly looked away.

Noticing her sudden strange behavior, he grabbed her shoulders and made her look at him. Kripa tried to look away but their eyes finally met in a torturing pain.

S: are you ok?

K: yeah im fine. i have to go

S: go? go where?

K: please dont ask questions sahil...i really need to go!

S: kripa...kripa!!!

Kripa quickly for into her car and drove away. Sahil continued to watch her leave. He didnt know what to expect but somehow he assumed that it was all angad's fault. He hurried to the bar.

Angad was sitting there in front of tanya, staring at his drink, as she stared at him. Tanya brushed the front of his hair with her fingers. Angad looked at her awkwardly and then looked away. suddenly, he felt someone's arms on him. he looked at the person and was shocked too see sahil standing in front of him.

A: what the hell is this sahil? let go off my collar

S: shut up you..you....how dare you hurt her?

A: me?

S: yea you know who im talking about...she left in tears...and i know its only you!

A: what nonsense is this sahil? maine kripa ko kuch nahi kaha...she was upset about you. you hurt her. you made her cry. you piece of ****!!!

S:(grabbed his collar again): shut up angad!! i never wanted to make her cry. i luv her you get it? I LOVE HER!!!

Angad pushed Sahil to the side

A: I LOVE HER TOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

Angad quickly looked at tanya. she was in shock when she heard the words come out of his mouth. For the first time, angad had felt uncomfortable saying that. he always said it in a friendly way but today it meant something more. He quickly sat down and held his head in his hands. Sahil came up to him again and grabbed his arm

S: you selfish jerk!! you hurt her!!!!!!

Angad didnt say anything. Sahil moved his arm to hit angad but tanya got in his way.

T: please sahil...forget it! violence is not going to solve anything now is it? please calm down

Sahil let go of Angad and left in anger. Tanya sat next to angad, quietly, for a few minutes but then spoke again.

T: do you really love her?

Angad looked at her in anger. He got up and threw his chair to the other side in rage and left. Tanya looked away in tears and burried her head in her arms.

angad: what was i thinking? i mean i do love kripa but...she's my best friend. i always loved her... then why did i feel so strange when i said it today? did i really mean it in that way? NOOOO...i dont really " love" kripa. if i did, they why would i waste 12 years of my life going out with so many women? i mean Tanya is obviously the longest one...4 months? NO if i was in love with kripa, i would never ever have stayed with tanya for so long....

He got off his couch and sat on his bed. He rested his head on his pillow and then turned so that his body was facing the bed. He felt restless. he rushed to the bathroom and splashed some cold water on his face.

Is it because she was nothing like Kripa? was i trying to make her jealous? was i trying really hard to forget my feelings for her?

ok thts it for now.i know this was kinda BORING but keep thinking of what is going to happen next....will they realize their feelings for each other? or will their lives take another turn???
