In the seat just behind her Arnav Singh Raizada sat uncomfortably

decked up in his 3-piece suit!

Part 4

She had been planning this all along. She knew she had to leave after six

months no matter what, for obvious reasons ofcourse! She had managed to

save a decent amount of money from her dabba service and tuitions so

that she can start her life afresh.

Delhi had given her some of her most cherished memories as well

as her worst nightmares.

First thing she needs to do will be to find a decent job. After lot of

pondering she decided she wanted to do something related to weddings. She

can start out as an assistant or a worker to a wedding planner and

slowly and steadily make her way on the top. Though she loved food, she

had her share of catering business, now it was time to try something new.

Weddings!! Ah how she loved weddings! They are magical, you get to see

different kind of people, there is an atmosphere of joy all around, it is a

riot of colors! Apart from the bride and groom there will be many other

love stories blooming in the deep recesses of the heart unnoticed by the

people. Hell even her love story took a nasty turn during a wedding!

Maybe if Arnav hadn't reached the terrace in the first place then…… or if

he would have given her the benefit of doubt then their relationship

wouldn't have been at crossroads today!! Anyways out of every bad thing

something good always comes out of it. This thing made her stronger and

more confident than ever. As they what doesn't kill you makes you

stronger!!

On the other side Arnav had shrugged out of his jacket and waistcoat and

lossened his tie and the top two buttons of his shirt were left open. Damn it

is so hot! How is Khushi faring, I should have booked a flight for her!

He had to think of what he is going to do once he reaches Lucknow.

Though staying with Khushi is a tempting thought he can't do that…..not

yet! She said she wanted space fine he is going to give her that. He will

stay somewhere closeby. Surely she'll have to take a job somewhere to

sustain, maybe he can help or better he'll start working wherever she goes.

Maybe she'll restart her dabba service here and he can help her with the

accounting and keeping records part she can do the cooking. Yes that may

be it. Or she might want to try something new. Whatever it is it can't be

something he can't handle….. right! Before everything he has to become a

friend to her…as he heard in some cheesy romantic movie "friendship is

the first step to love!!" (He didn't watch the movie, Di was watching it

and he was passing by and he just heard it. At that time he found it crap

but now he is willing to try anything to get her back!)

After what seemed like ages to Arnav they finally reached Lucknow. By

then he was stinking with sweat, starving and his body was craving for

sleep (Yup he hadn't slept the entire journey! It was too uncomfortable

for him to sleep and he cannot sleep without AC.)

He got out of the train feeling a cool breeze fan his face. Man wasn't he

grateful!! He saw Khushi get out of the train and contact someone. He

managed to catch snatches of the conversation….. Malihabad……guest

house…….landlady. Ok so Malihabad it is!

Khushi got in a cab and left. Arnav had arranged for a car to be sent, as

soon as it arrived he sped off towards Malihabad. Once reached, he came

to know that there was only a 2-bedroom guest house for rent. The lady

was planning to give one room to Khushi and the other to whoever came

along. Both the bedrooms had an attached bathroom to it but kitchen and

the hall was to be shared. The bedrooms were small (khushi's bedroom

size in Lakshmi nagar), kitchen was tiny and the hall was average in size.

He convinced the lady to give the other room to him for rent. Since Arnav

looked like a decent guy and she was in dire need of money she agreed.

He proceeded to settle his things in place.

Khushi soon arrived. She met landlady and paid her advance. She was

informed that she'll be sharing the house with a guy. Though she was not

too pleased about it, there was nothing she can do about it. She just hoped

he was a decent man who would not pester her! And if he tries to act smart

then she can put him in place KKG style!! She chuckled to herself! Lets

go and meet Mr.roommate ……oops its Mr.housemate!!

Though Arnav hadn't planned on staying in the same house with her, he

didn't see an option otherwise. A hotel would be too far and there are no

other houses for rent nearby. So this had to do!

The moment Khushi stepped inside she felt something….like..like he is

nearby!! Hey that can't be possible right, she has left him far behind!! She

shook her head to get out the crazy feeling and went around exploring the

house!! It was nice perfect for her!! The kitchen was empty she would

have to go shopping tomorrow and stock the kitchen. The landlady had

invited her for dinner tonight. The door to the other room opened and the

person she least expected to see stepped out!

To say she was shell-shocked was an understatement! What the hell is

going on? Had she finally lost it and started to imagine him everywhere,

yes that must be it, there is in no hell of a way Raizada would be

standing here in this house looking as cool as a cat! Nope she must be

hallucinating, there is no other explanation for this!

Arnav watched as her expressions changed from shock to disbelief! She

must be thinking that he is an illusion! Time to break the illusion sweetie!

Arnav walked in front of Khushi and snapped his fingers. She broke out

of her trance.

"You are…."

"Real..yes very much"

As the realization sunk in, she felt anger bubbling inside her. How dare

he…how dare he follow her…yes he must have followed her there is no

other way he could have landed in the same place as her……..didn't she

make herself clear that she didn't want to stay with him anymore…..didn't

he understand that she does not trust him anymore..that all this is not a

game. Just because he fancied her and realized that now she is not a home

wrecker he wants her back! He can go and suck it up she is not going back

with him!!
