I am glad Johnny will be the buffer on the beginning of the trip. That would have been most awkward for them otherwise. Maybe his college antics will come out and we will get to know more of Mr. Modi and that kiss. Something seems so fishy about that kiss now.

He brought Lalitha to their place (?), he would not explain further (?) and also the "do well" before he left. Too many mystery shows or he is not so mysterious after all? I mean not letting them cut her hair, to making her part of the play and then to spend many many days with her with the unusual companiable silence. Maybe I will start to like him as much as her soon.
