it was decided at Johnny's suggestion that Abhi and I should accompany him via train until Madras on the day after. From Madras to Kerala was a much shorter train ride.

actually im confused...i read that sentence and still im not clear about what did he actually mean by that...bt im touched when he asked her whether she wants to meet her parents...bt i never thought they will be leaving soon...im excited for their trip to kerala...

How well you do that.. Their words assume such ghostly irreverence for form or shape after they are conceived, that they impart an almost divine allure to boundaries..

I have great hopes for the train journey, a single compartment and two days in the train from Varanasi to Madras, you can't run away anywhere, and she will be running away from the bathroom in the train, not to the bathroom, definitely not lingering there. 😆

Every time you mention 'take a train'. i have to stop and put myself back in 1983 and think, yes, definitely 'took a train'.
