Author's Note: Another update and that too in the same day? Haha, I couldn't resist, VirMan are just too cute. Hope you like this, and oh I just had to include some British accents and tea :P Muah

Chapter Fifteen: Would you like some sugar, sugar?

"Okay, Beeji. I'll be sure to call you." Maanvi hung up the phone and sat on the bed. Her Beeji had called her not too long ago, the usual questions about her health and well being. To be honest, Maanvi was scared of being alone in a new city, but when she thought of the support of Jeevika and the Vadheras, and yes even her new friend Viraat as well, she no longer felt afraid. In fact, she felt motivated to achieve her goal, no matter how long it took. Maanvi noticed the unusual softness in Beeji's voice as if she had been crying, but Beeji denied. Although, Maanvi knew that she was lying, she decided not to press on this matter, and called off.

After changing the dressing on her leg, Maanvi opened her luggage bag. Jeevika had made her shift her clothes to Viraat's wardrobe, after he had shifted to the guest room. Maanvi felt uneasy by the care Jeevika gave her, even though she never had an older sister, she felt as if Jeevika was the one she could relate to.

"Maanvi, are you busy?" Jeevika asked, knocking ever so politely on the door.

Maanvi rolled her eyes. "Are you mad, di? Am I ever busy for you? And anyways, this if your house."

"Yes, yes whatever." Jeevika giggled. "Anyways, I wanted to ask you, want to help me in the kitchen? Actually, Vanshika ma has gone out with Buaji and I didn't feel like being alone in the kitchen today –" Jeevika spoke a little bit too quickly.

Maanvi tapped her on her shoulders, "Are you mad? Of course I'm happy to help you. Anything for you, di." She gave her trademark smile and the two sisters went down.

Viraat Vadhera was lounging around with his laptop when he noticed his bhabhi and Maanvi walk down the stairs. He winced as Maanvi limped down, it had been a week since the accident and he knew that it would take a further couple of weeks for it to heal.

"Hello, bhabhi." He greeted Jeevika and then turned to Maanvi and smirked. "Hello dedfutiya." Maanvi growled but then got a glare from Jeevika.

"Hello Chep-ji." She played along. "How are you this fine morning?" She enhanced the pronunciation of the words and gave a fake smile.

"Very well thank you, and how are you oh so little one?" Viraat teased, mocking a faint British accent.

"Oh you know, the usual usual." Maanvi mimicked.

"Oh really, well in that case would you mind getting me some tea, darling?"

"Oh sure, honey. Tea would be ab-so-lut-ely splendid! Would you like so some sugar with that, sugar?" Jeevika stifled a laugh at Maanvi and Viraat's childishness.

"Yes, one spoon would be ab-so-lut-ely perfect." Viraat grinned.

"Yes sure, why not. Please sit down sir. I'll get your tea in a few minutes."

Viraat sat down and watched as Maanvi dragged Jeevika out of the hall and into the kitchen. Damn, even if Maanvi was limping she still was stronger than Bhabhi, he thought.

As soon as they were in the kitchen Jeevika could not help but laugh.

"You…and Viraat….are so funny…!" She said whilst laughing.

"Of course, Of course. That prince wanted tea right?" Jeevika stopped laughing and nodded. Maanvi put her finger on her lips and thought. "Where's the tea leaves?" Before Jeevika could reply, Maanvi started fiddling around looking for pots and pans and cups.

"The prince wanted tea, and tea is what he shall get." She said with an evil grin.

Maanvi placed a pot over the cooker and heated water until it was boiling. She added tea leaves and milk to the very hot water until adding tablespoons of sugar.

"Maanvi, Virat wanted one right?" Jeevika asked as Maanvi poured at least seven spoonful of sugar into the tea.

"But di, Virat wanted it to be sweet and for a sweet boy this is right up his street!" Maanvi said teasing. Jeevika nodded and giggled. She had an inkling that Maanvi would do that, after all Maanvi and Viraat were similar in personality and which is why Jeevika liked Maanvi, that and she made her laugh.

Maanvi left the kitchen with the cup of tea in her hand, she walked up to Viraat who looked at her as if she was plotting something.

"Prince, your tea." She said smiling.

Viraat took the tea out of her hands, "Thank you princess." He placed the cup near his lips and took a sip. "OUCH!" He cried, cooling his lips down. "Maanvi how hot did you make it?" He licked his lips and scrunched his face, "Wait, how many sugars did you put into this?"

"A hot sweet tea for the hot sweet prince." Maanvi teased. "Like it?"

Viraat nearly shook his head but decided to have a bit of fun with Maanvi first, "Hm. Hot. Sweet. Tea." He said softly, almost whispering whilst placing the teacup down and walking towards her. His lips barely touched her ear when he whispered, "For the hot. Sweet. Prince." Maanvi closed her eyes at his voice and stood in shock at how close he was.

Maanvi stepped back and growled. "Don't get too vain Chep. You're not that hot."

Viraat smiled, "But I am a little bit hot, right?"

Maanvi faked a smile, and picked up the tea cup. "Let's see how hot you are." She gestured him to take the cup out of her hand. "I dare you to drink this all in ten seconds."

Viraat gulped but then gained confidence, "And If I do?" He spoke softly again.

"Hm, then I'll do anything you tell me to."

"And If I don't?"

"Then you do anything I want to do." Maanvi smiled, there was no way Virat would drink it all seeing as how hot it was.

"Okay, deal." He took the cup out of her hands and placed it on his lips, "Start countdown." He said and started gulping down the drink. Maanvi started counting.

"One."

"Two."

"Three."

Viraat gasped for air, already a quarter down.

"Four."

"Five."

He took another huge gulp: half left.

"Six."

"Seven."

Viraat wondered whether or not he was going to finish, but being a Vadhera meant that he never gave up for quickly. He decided to risk his mouth and pour the whole cup down. Silently saying his prayers, he dived in.

"Eight."

"Nine." Maanvi grinned, he was never going to finish, she thought.

"FINISHED!" Viraat spoke a second too soon and Maanvi cursed herself. The pained Viraat ran out to the washroom and placed his head underneath the tap. A minute later, he came out and smiled at Maanvi.

"So, about the bet." He started, walking up to Maanvi.

Maanvi tsked. "Can't you fail for once?" She looked up at him, "Okay, tell me what should I do?"

Viraat thought for a bit before answering, "Hm, you have to be my wife."

"What?" Maanvi shouted.

"I mean, for today. You have to act like my wife."

"What kind of a condition is that?"

"Look, you already took over my room right?" He stated.

"Yeah, so?"

"You already took over my bed and wardrobe?"

"Right."

"So, you're already my half wife, so the deal is you have to cook for me and tell me how hot I am. You know hot tea for the hot prince." He teased. I won't let you go Maanvi, I'll show you just how 'hot' I am, he thought.

"No Virat, anything else but that." Maanvi objected.

"Chill Maanvi. Don't worry, this is strictly a platonic condition, not the physical aspects." Maanvi blushed and then groaned. God, this Viraat will be the death of me, what would people say when they find out? She thought.

"Okay, fine." She said gritting her teeth. "But no one can find out about it, okay?"

"Hm, okay, wifey." He teased.

Maanvi rolled her eyes, "Okay whatever. I have to help Jeevika di now." She walked away leaving a smiling Viraat. This was going to be fun.
