A week and few days later...
In the main meeting chamber, Maha Ari(MA) sat on the chair in front of the fireplace. His fingers traced the rim of a small bottle again and again until the door creaked open. Two young men in their early twenties entered the room and came and sat in the chairs kept for them.
MA: Jo karya tum dono ko diya vo sampoorna hua?
both the young men exchanged a look of concern.
Harshvardhan: ji MA. parantu.. baat yeh hai ki unhe sanshay hone ki sambhavna hai.kaise yeh vo nahi jan payenge .
MA:(frustated) yeh yeh dekho kya ho raha hai .
he threw in front of them a newspaper whose headlines read--
'A NEW CIVILIZATION DISCOVERED. INDIA'S HISTORY PUSHED BACK BY MANY CENTURIES'
MA: Sab log ek naya itihaas ka panna samajhke ise dekh rahe hai. jabki yeh sabse puratan hai. yeh chitra, sikkon ki, eeton ki(bricks sorry for the spelling).
he threw the paper in the fire while both the men stared at it for a long time until one of them spoke up.
Vikramaditya: humare liye ab kya agya hai MA?
MA: Pehle yeh dekho- (he showed them the small bottle and brought out an old hollow cup. he opened the bottle and poured the almost invisible content in the cup. the cup gleamed and and shone) dekh rahe ho. yeh rajeev ne us firangi ko mili hui eet se laya hai. tumhe batane ki koi avashyakta nahi ki yeh kya hai.
Harshvardhan: avishvasneeya! yeh to un eeton mein se hai jo-
MA: Unhi mein se ek. ispe likhi gayi hui lipi najar aane lagi thi. samay ke sath iski shaktiyaan kamzor ho rahi hai. ab toh vinash hi vinash dikh raha hai.
Vikramaditya: aapke kehne anusaar hamne sabhi sikkon pe kavach daal diya hai. un logonko lipi(script) toh samaj mein kabhi bhi nahi aayegi. aur un mein se yeh do sabse mehetvapoorna vastu hum laye hai.
Harshvardhan: aapko vishwaas nahi hoga parantu sadiyon baad vo mile hai. jo vastuen dhoondhtein dhoondhtein hamare poorvaj poorna bharatvarsh bhraman karte rahe vo vaha mili.
A group of 15 people came inside carrying two separate heavy metal trunks. they struggling under the magical weight of it because literally they were not carrying it or touching it, they had lifted it with their magic. it was becoming difficult to keep those trunks apart. finally vikramaditya and harshvardhan went forward and brought them single-handedly.
MahaAri blessed them both by saying- tum donone kitne varshon tak atyant sahas ka karya kiya. mein tumhe aashirwaad deta hun ki hamare yeh do maseehe tum dono ke parivaar meinhi janm lenge.
saying thus, the two trunks shone with blinding light.
MA: inhe surakshit rakhna hoga . hum sabhiko tum dono ki avashyakta hai vikramaditya aur harshvardhan. ab jab meine tum dono ko yeh ashirwaad diya hai, to avashyakta aur prabal ho gayi hai.
MahaAri smiled satisfied as though that light had given
them a ray of hope. Who knows if it did.
