Hey everyone! Here's another chapter! Hope you enjoy!
Chapter 5- Cursed
"Sam and Dean Winchester. What the? What in the world are you two doing here? In Delhi? In my house? At this time? There is something called the doorbell. How dare you two break into my house without my permission?"
Dean smirked. "Firstly, hello Arnie! And secondly, nobody breaks into someone's house with permission. Besides, we never really make use of the doorbell."
Sam glared at Dean, giving him the 'you are not helping' look.
"Arnav...we need to talk to you."
Arnav clenched his jaw. "Don't. Call. Me. Arnie. And I think I had made it clear years ago that I don't want anything to do with you or your father." His voice was dangerously calm. An ominous silence cloaked the room.
"OK! That went well!", Dean interrupted the silence. "I am sorry I risked my life sitting through a fifteen hour flight just to talk to you. You can go back to ironing your suits and we will go back to what we are best at! Let's go Sammy! By the way, is there any good place here where they sell excellent grilled cheese burgers? I am starving!"
Sam tugged at Dean's jacket to stop him from walking out the door. "I am not going anywhere. Arnav, we really need to talk to you. We need your help."
Arnav raised his perfectly arched eyebrows in question.
"Arnav?" All heads turned to look at a sleepy Lavanya staring at them, confusion clear in her groggy eyes. "What's happening baby? Who are these people?"
"Lavanya. Not now. Go back to the room. I will be back in a few minutes and explain everything."
"But...?"
"Lavanya. Room. Now."
"OK...OK" Lavanya dragged her feet back to the room but turned back once to ensure that everything was fine. Arnav nodded as if reading her mind. "We won't talk here. I don't want to involve Lavanya in this mess."
The three made their way out. The harsh cold air and the tiny droplets of rain hit their face indicating another powerful storm.
"Dad's been gone for 2 months and we can't find him. We need your help...I mean...only if..."
"Isn't he always gone? Isn't that what he's best at? Leaving. And let me tell you, he won't come back. Do you know why? Because that man simply doesn't care."
That is when Dean's patience came tumbling down. He strode towards Arnav and ferociously grabbed his collar pushing his body against the wall. "You son of a b***h! Don't you dare talk about my Dad like that! He does care. And how will you possibly know about that? You left!"
Arnav retaliated with all his might and pushed Dean off him. "And don't you dare use that word when talking about my mother! I left? I? I am standing right here! Even after all these years! I am standing right here! Your Dad left! He left my mother to die! If she is not here today, it's because of him! Only him! Just because I didn't agree to what he wanted me to do. Just because I didn't want my mother to be left alone and not put her in danger because of what he wanted me to become. He simply left because he did not have the bloody guts to handle my refusal. He has always wanted things to be his way. My mother died waiting for him!" Arnav turned to look at Sam. "And you Sam? You out of all people want to push me into that life that you tried to escape from in the first place? Why? Why did you start hunting again in the first place? Or you can't tolerate the fact that I have been successful in doing something that you wanted to do but couldn't? Leading a normal life?"
Sam's vision grew blurry as he questioned himself. Why had he come all this way to convince Arnav? To ask for his help to find Dad? Why? Dean was right. They could do it themselves. Then why did he come all this way? Is Arnav right? Is...is he really jealous of the fact that Arnav had successfully managed to get what he had wanted a few years back? And then his mind flooded with the most abhorrent vision. The vision that he could do anything to get rid of. Jessica. That is why he had started hunting again. Jessica's death had ignited his fury. It had added to the frustration...the pain...the anger his mind was wrapped in after his mother's death. And he had sworn that day to hunt and kill every evil being that crossed his path.
"That's enough! Sammy, are you going to stand here and let this man hurl insults at you? Let's go."
"Yes. I think the conversation is over. You both can go back to where you came from."
"I...Arnav...I am sorry. I didn't mean to add salt to your wounds. I don't know why I came here...all the way...to ask for your help...I thought Dad would want this. He would want us to be together again."
"I have a life now. All I have left is Lavanya. She trusts me. I can't put her in danger by plunging myself into the darkness again. I lost my mother and I lost my father the day he walked out that door leaving us on our own. It's better for all of us to remain the way we are today. We are no family. We never were one."
Sam shook his head and Dean forced him into the car. "I told you it's not worth it."
------------------------------------------
Arnav's mind couldn't properly register to what had just happened. His mind was too tired to think. He needed sleep. He took a calming breath and made his way to the room aware that Lavanya might be waiting there for him with a mound of questions and he had to answer them. He entered to find the room empty. Maybe she's in the washroom, he thought.
He closed his eyes and threw his exhausted form over the bed. Drip. He felt something warm drop on his face. The sides of his eyes wrinkled in puzzlement. He ran a finger over his face and opened his eyes to find a hazy red liquid smudged on his finger. He looked up at the ceiling and his eyes met the most horrifying sight. Waves of panic rippled through his body. He tried opening his mouth to say something but failed. His heart hammered against his chest. His body felt like lead...heavy and paralyzed.
Lavanya's fragile body was nailed to the ceiling of his room. Her flimsy white gown was stained with bright crimson blood at the abdomen. Her mouth was wide open as if trying to scream. Her black eyes pleading...begging for help. Her face was crinkled with pain and abhor. Her black silky hair fanned out dangerously against the cold ceiling. Her hands and legs were pinned to her sides.
His body grew hot, his shirt drenched in sweat and eyes welled up as he tried to scream. "LAVANYA! LAVANYA! NO! NO! LAVANYA! NO!"
As the painful scream left his parched throat, malevolent flames clinched Lavanya's body. "NO! LAVANYA!"
---------------------------------------
"I told you it's not worth it! Damn! How dare he talk about Dad like th..."
He couldn't complete his sentence as an excruciating scream tore through the silence of the cold night. Sam and Dean looked at each other perplexed. They didn't think a moment before rushing inside the house. They made their way to Arnav's room to find him curled in the corner of the room.
He watched helplessly as her body burned. Her olive skin melted off her bones like wax from a candle. He watched helplessly as her luscious hair burnt and fell to the ground in the form of grayish black ashes. He watched helplessly as his life fell to pieces in front of him and he couldn't do anything about it. He screamed, "YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME! YOU CAN'T! YOU PROMISED ME...GOD DAMMIT! YOU PROMISED ME! LAVANYA! NO! LAVANYA! COME BACK! YOU PROMISED ME!"
"Arnav! You need to get out of this place!" Sam and Dean picked up Arnav's lifeless being from the ground and yanked him out the door.
"NO! I AM NOT LEAVING WITHOUT LAVANYA! SHE PROMISED ME! SHE PROMISED! WE NEED TO SAVE HER! WE NEED TO..."
Dean shook Arnav's body violently. "ARNAV! Come back to your senses! We need to get out of here before we become roasted chicken!"
He had nothing left. Absolutely nothing. He was alone. All over again. All alone. He was cursed.

How was it? This chapter is one of the most important chapters in the FF. I am pretty nervous regarding your reactions. 😳
I know their past is a little hazy and confusing. I haven't revealed everything yet. I will slowly unravel things in the upcoming chapters. Sorry for not including Khushi again. This chapter is a high point in the FF. I thought it would be abrupt and pointless to include her at this point. I wanted to solely concentrate on the brothers...my Three Musketeers!
Also, the story in my FF is going to be different from the story in the actual SUPERNATURAL show and the actual IPKKND show. I am making it clear now because many people have been questioning me about Sam's past. Sam is going to have a slightly different story in my FF and so is everyone else. So, don't compare the FF to the original shows because the plots are going to be different from the original.
