Nupur and Samrat reach the venue and Samrat goes to park the car. Nupur gives instruction to Samrat nth time in the car. As Samrat comes from parking area Nupur starts again "Listen Samrat you-" Samrat cuts her "Nupur this is 100th time you are warning me. I remembered I need to make an impression with Mayank sir, need to act smart, not to dance with other girls blah blah." Nupur shakes her head and start going forward. Samrat shouts "Nupurrr". She stops and turns "kya huva" Samrat "my lens. I l-lost o-one of my eye lens." Nupur "oh no. where you lost". Samrat "here only". Nupur "search soon before going to the party or it will be disaster". Samrat and Nupur starts search for lens on the floor. In their search they did not notice someone coming in their way. Samrat shouts "milgaye" he stands at once with lens stepping on the saree of Nupur. This makes her loose her balance and falls taking some one along with her. She feels that she hit something hard, she is sure it is not floor then what it is. She opens her eyes to see a hard chest of a man, Nupur thinks 'by god know I have fallen on some guy.' She notices his suit looks costly, his shoulders and chest are well build slowly she raises her eyes to his lips which look soft and manly. She licks her lips and slowly her eyes meet with a pair of black eyes looking at her like a panther. She feels as if her world stopped there. They both had an eye lock god knows for how many minutes. Hearing Samrat's voice Nupur realizes that she is still lying on that person and notices his arms around her waist. Nupur panics and tries to get up messily. The guy tightens his hold on her waist and rolls her coming on top of her. He slowly rises without taking his eyes off her and gives her his hand to stand. She slowly takes his hand and gets up. Without saying a word he breaks the eye lock and goes from there. Nupur stands there as if she is in trans. Samrat slowly pats Nupur's shoulder points toward the guy says "Mayank Sharma." Nupur "oh ok" then suddenly shouts "by god!!" Nupur claps her mouth with her hands "Mayank Sharma, oh no this is not the way I want to meet him. Donot know what he might be thinking about me. By god I was so messy, arrrgggeee stupid saree." Nupur turns towards Samrat takes his hand and runs towards the hall as soon as her saree allowed saying "let's go". They enter the party, Nupur searches for Mayank. She finds him greeting the senior staff. She notices a young girl standing beside him. Nupur "who is she? His girlfriend." Samrat "No, his secretary Miss. Mandira. His fiance's name is Natasha." Nupur feels disappointed she donot know why says "oh". She shakes her head as if she came from some trans says "Samrat go, and greet him". Samrat "ok" and going near Mayank. By the time Samrat goes near to Mayank, some old clients come and keep him occupy. Samrat feels disappointed and goes back to Nupur. Mayank mingles with his clients discussing about different economical issues. He took retirement from Lab when he is 29 years old, as he is satisfied with the progresses of his Labs and stepped in to different businesses to spread the wings of Sharma Foundation in the world. While working in the Labs before retirement he started Finance and import & export business of Lab equipment side ways, later he totally concentrated on business without any rest. Recently he entered the construction business.
The moment Mayank entered the party his eyes are on Nupur. He observes her every move. He observes how Nupur is ordering around Samrat. Mayank knows Samrat, well the person who has cost him a fortune how he can forget him. Mayank keeps a disinterest taste in his mouth to see Samrat with Nupur but keeps his face expressions neutral and meets the people. He donot know why he did not liked seeing Samrat so close to Nupur. Samrat stands with Nupur in a corner with other girls. The girls are openly drooling on Mayank. One of the girls "oh, soon dance will start. But he is going to dance only with the senior most staff and ignores us, kash for once he breaks his rule and dances with me. I will become his slave for rest of my life" Nupur gives a disgusting look to the girl. Gunjan who is standing in the group of girls looking dreamily at Samrat. Gunjan is a beautiful but innocent girl. She also joins the Las as intern along with Nupur. She has a huge crush on Samrat or you can say she secretly loves Samrat. But she is afraid of Nupur. As everyone in the Lab she also assumes that Samrat and Nupur are a couple. Slowly gathering her confidence she asks Samrat "hey Samrat will you bring some drink for me." Samrat "why? I am not your servant go and get it". Gunjan gets disappointed. Suddenly Nupur gives a broad smile says to Samrat "hey Samrat come on be a sport and go bring drinks for all of us." Samrat "I am not a servant-" Nupur gives a glares and point towards bar counter and whispers "Mayank sir is standing at the bar counter, go as if you are going to bring us some drinks and talk with him." Samrat gets the clue and says "ok" goes near the counter. Nupur observes Samrat interacting with Mayank and Mayank laughing on something along with his other clients. Nupur "by god, Samrat made Mayank laugh on his jokes. Not bad Samrat. Muja laka ya sadoo kabhi hasaga hi hain. Hastha hain to kitha cute lagtha hain by god" then Nupur suddenly stops and thinks 'cute, from where this though came from' Nupur shakes her head and concentrate on Samrat and Mayank. Samrat comes back with a dull face. Nupur "what happened it is a nice move, Mayank sir is laughing on your jokes". Samrat "he not laughing on my jokes, he is laughing on me and warned me this is my last chance." Nupur "oh" gets disappointed pats his back "donot worry every dog has a day" Samrat glares at her she slowly removes her hand gives him a forced smile and sees towards Mayank. And observes that Mayank is looking at her, they had an eye lock. She wants to break the eye lock but couldn't do that donot know why. Suddenly DJ starts and asks Mayank to do the honor of starting the ball dance. Mayank takes the hand of the senior lady Mrs. Malini 45 years of age and goes to the dance floor. Slowly everyone join him. Nupur take Samrat and goes to the dance floor. Nupur observes Mayank and tries to take Samrat near him, so that once he completes the dance immediately Samrat can talk with Mayank. Nupur "Listen Samrat once he complete his dan-" Samrat "please Nupur donot disturb me otherwise I will forget my steps" and starts counting number "1-2-3, 1-2-3". Nupur closes her eyes with frustration and suddenly shouts "ouch" as Samrat steps on her feet. Samrat "sorry sorry that is why I said not to disturb me" making a baby face. Nupur gives him a 'eska kuch nahin ho saktha' look and says "let's go and stand at a corner". Samrat nods his head and follows her. In all this Nupur did not noticed Mayank watching her closely. Samrat and Nupur goes and stands at a corner. "Can I dance with you?" Nupur turns her head hearing these words and finds Mayank in front of her offering her his hand. Nupur for few seconds forgets what to say or what to think looking into his eyes. All the girls in the room envy Nupur for her luck. The most eligible bachelor of the town is asking Nupur the Tomboy for a dance. Where are the other girls who dipped themselves in make-up to impress Mayank and standing like dolls in the showcase without even getting a second look by Mayank. Samrat nags Nupur. She slowly says "hmm" and looks at Samrat then turns towards Mayank and gives her hand slowly. Mayank takes her and goes towards the dance floor. Mayank places his hand on Nupur's bare waist pulling her close. A current passes in there bodies, Mayank becomes stiff and Nupur gives a confusion look to Mayank, as she donot know what is happening to her. Both tries to concentrate on their dance. They start dancing for the slow beats. After a little while Mayank slowly asks "what's your name?" Nupur "hmm, oh Nupur-Nupur Bhushan" Mayank "ok", slowly Nupur finds her voice and remembers she has to make an impression for Samrat, she says "Sir, Samrat is a very nice guy and he is very intelligent. I know he did a little mistakes but-" Mayank cuts her "that little mistake has cost me a lot." Nupur "I know, I am sorry about that. But please look at his work he is really a genius." Mayank suddenly cuts her "are you his girlfriend?" Nupur stops talking and dancing looks at Mayank with 'what' look. Mayank "never mind, I told him before and telling you another mistake he is out of his job" goes from there leaves Nupur. She goes back where Samrat is sitting still thinking what he asked. In office, collage and sometimes neighbors ask them same question is Samrat her boyfriend she but never felt like replying to them as if she did not care but when Mayank asked the same question she felt as if she want to answer him and clear his misunderstanding. Nupur shakes her head clearing her thoughts 'what am I thinking. Come on Nupur you need to focus on the problem. Samrat is in trouble' Nupur sees mandira Mayank sir's PA going towards ladies room. Nupur says to Samrat "I heard generally the bosses's messes with their PA's. I will go and talk with mandira if she can help to remove this warning sign on your name." She follows mandira to the room. Nupur "hi". Mandira gives her an I-donot-care look and turns towards the mirror adjusting her makeup. Nupur gets angry but tells herself to control for Samrat and says "I I want to ask you a favour" Mandira cuts her "look, I cannot set a date with Mayank. I know first time he has broken his regular routine and danced with you. Donot-" Nupur cuts mandira saying "I came to talk about Samrat" Mandira give her a confused look and says "oh that guy who blow the lab last time." Nupur feels uncomfortably says "yes, can you please talk with Mayank sir and tell him not to keep this warning sign on Samrat. It is the matter of his career." Mandira "I cannot help you in this matter. I am just his PA. He is not such a person who messes with his PA's. He is very strict and he makes his own decision. I am sorry I cannot help. And by the way is he your boyfriend." Nupur gets angry on hearing the question before she can blow mandira's head to her luck someone enters the room and saved mandira from Nupur's angry. Nupur leaves the ladies room thinking 'by god, pata nahin samrat kaliya aur kitna patad balna padnga' and goes to the party hall. Suddenly she sees a beautiful girl clinching with Mayank seductively. Nupur feels jealous seeing her. Samrat says "she is Natasha, Mayank sir's fiance." Nupur says "oh". Mayank says bye to all and look around the hall as if he is searching for someone. Mayank finds Nupur at one corner, both looks at each other. Mayank without breaking his eye lock keeps his hand around Natasha and starts going towards the door then break his eye lock and leaves Nupur behind with disturbed and new feelings.
