Part 10

It's been hours that Viraj had dropped Shilpa home and it was almost midnight but still the sleep wasn't taking over her eyes. She was hell tired but whenever she closed her eyes to sleep, she would remember the horrible past; she had lost so much but not this time. This time she won't let Viraj to hurt her family and especially Armaan and when Viraj would come to know about her feelings for Armaan or he flirting with her, Viraj would for sure try to harm him. She stood up and walked to the window and leaned on the window frame. She looked ate moon, it looked so beautiful and then she closed her eyes but as soon she closed her eyes she saw Armaan's face how full of love he was looking ate her, how close he was to her and then her words 'Thank you Shilpa...your tear showed me that u don't love him and u don't belong to him. You belong to me and just me.' As soon she remembered his word she opened her eyes "No Armaan I don't belong to u...I don't belong to anyone. I can't let u come in my life Armaan. Yes I love u but u are too late Armaan...u are too late. I am sorry to give u pain Armaan but after sometime u will be fine without me and maybe u will move on with a girl who will keep u happy." She closed her eyes again and tears rolled down. Then she thought about the day when she destroyed her life with her own hands but she never thought that Viraj will change like that, like a monster.

Flashback

It was a beautiful sunny noon. Shilpa was playing with the kids in the garden. It was her turn to get a blindfold, the kids started to run away from her and Shilpa started to search them.

She was trying to hear them and so she moved in the direction and she was about to hold one of them but they escaped again from her but then she bumped in someone and she thought it was a kid so she started to laugh and jump in joy "Yeah I got u...I got u...hahahaha" she opened her blindfold and saw Viraj standing in front of her. Shilpa's smiling face turned from happy to shock and then to embarrassed. "Viraj ji I am so sorry I thought it would be one of the children...I am really sorry." She looked down and then to her surprise he started so laugh like a mad person and Shilpa couldn't do anything else as to look at him with wide open eyes and her mouth in a 'O' shape.

"OMG Shilpa u look amazing with an embarrassed look on your face. Okay I will not tease u about this but u have to promise me something." She raised a eyes brow "What should I promise?" He smiled and said "From now on u will call me just Viraj and not Viraj ji...I fell really old and the 'Ji' doesn't suite to my personality." Viraj made a funny face and that brought a very bright smile on Shilpa's face "Okay Viraj ji...oops I mean just Viraj. So what are u doing here?" "Actually I'm here for a very important work and just Maasi ji can help me." "Really but how can Maasi help u?" "Shilpa just Maasi ji can help me in this." He looked very intense in her eyes like he was asking her something but Shilpa was very naive and innocent so she didn't get that. Without wasting time he went in straight to Maasi. "Viraj beta u here...what a surprise." She came to him and hugged him lightly "Massi ji I wanted to talk to u but I don't know how to start." "Viraj is there any problem...beta u can ask me anything...don't hesitate!"

"Maasi ji I know that my parents should ask u that but I have no one so can I ask u?" "Sure Viraj beta ask what u want"

With a smile she assured him. "Maasi ji actually...I wanted to ask for Shilpa's hand...I mean I want to marry her." "But beta do u love her?" "I like her...I like her very much in fact I think I have started to fell for her." Maasi put her hand on his shoulder and said. "Look beta I have no objection but it will be Shilpa's decision. Shilpa come here my bacha." "Yes Maasi" She was confused that what was Viraj doing here. "Is there any problem" "Viraj asked for ur hand...so it ur decision if u want to marry him or not." Shilpa looked at him and saw that his eyes were pleading her to say yes...she smiled at him and he smiled back. "Maasi from my side it is a YES" Shilpa looked away shyly "Maasi ji if u don't mind I want the engagement next week." "But beta next week it's too early first we have to tell this to Atul, Arjun and Arohi and then they will come to meet u and then we can think about that." "Okay Maasi ji I can understand...I can wait but please I want the engagement soon as possible"

Flashback ends

Shilpa came back to present. She knew this time no one can help her and she won't let anybody to interfere between them. She went back to her bed to get some sleep but before sleep could take over her she made a mental note 'Stay away from Armaan and don't be alone with him and don't look into his beautiful deep blue eyes...urggg Shilpa stop this' And finally she fell asleep.

Next day

Armaan couldn't sleep all night because of Shilpa. When he would close his eyes he would see her and the last encounter in the fire escape would come like a film in front of his eyes.

But then he remembered that Viraj he got angry but first all jealously over powered him, one thing was clear that he would kill him when he would come near Shilpa. Then he slapped his forehead because he almost forgot to ask Atul about her past so he got ready fast and left without having breakfast.
