I'm a li'l pressed for time'...have some important exams coming up...so I won't be able to reply personally

I'm happy that few people especially mentioned liking Veer's 'bear the brunt' list...it's actually my favourite part of the story

I'm glad you liked the romance and didn't find it clumsy...boosts my confidence😃

@rashmi-I think only u noticed that Veer had a party the day before...well what happens when Anu comes to know is for you to read and know😉

"Anu" Veer said pulling her closer by her waist.

"Hmm?" she responded.

"I really don't understand how we're together." He said.

Anu looked up at him questioningly, "Matlab?"

Veer explained, "I mean they say opposites attract but we are so similar,"

"Except the cleanliness dept." Anu intervened.

"Yeah that," Veer rolled his eyes while Anu sniggered "but both of us are mischievous, believe in payback, passionate about our work, share our interests and much more. So'how?" Veer stated his thoughts.

Anu wound her arms around Veer's neck and said, "You're right but you forgot our most important commonality."

"What?" he asked quizzically.

"That we love each other and our love is beyond any theory." She said smiling while Veer stared at her lovingly.

"You know what?" Anu's voice broke his trance.

"Now what?" he inquired.

"I love you" Anu said, a bright smile lighting up her face.

Veer was surprised at her sudden confession but replied, "I love you too" and placed a gentle kiss on her cheek.

They stared at each other drowning in the ocean of love their eyes reflected.

After some time Anu whispered, "I think you shoul...'"

"I should..." Veer repeated placing his forehead against hers.

"Finish..." she continued.

"Finish what?" Veer asked. He anticipated she would say 'kissing' and brought his face closer. "Finish what Anu?" He asked again.

She smiled coquettishly and looked up at Veer's expectant face and said, "I think you should finish...cleaning." She ended laughingly and pushed him back.

Veer looked at her bewildered by her words and spluttered, "What!" He shook his head in annoyance. "You're hopeless, Anu"

"Why, thank you, Veer." She said grinning and continued, "But I meant it. You have to finish tidying up."

Veer made a forlorn face and stood leaning on the wall and watched Anu walking towards the table, where his pile of files lay.

"Now, I don't want to see any of your files in this room. Keep them in the study. Please take along your laptop too. After all this, take a bath." she instructed him with her back towards him.

Here, Veer mimicked her mutely.

"And" she continued.

Veer rolled his eyes and muttered under his breath, "Here comes another list."

"Veer, stop mimicking me."

His head shot up, 'but she hadn't even turned towards him. Did she have eyes behind her head or something?' he wondered.

"No dear, it's just the mirror." She pointed towards the mirror of the dressing table.

'Oh yeah! Of course! The mirror. Why hadn't he thought of that? But wait how had she known what he was thinking?' he thought.

"Veer," her voice again broke his chain of thoughts. "Sweetie, if you didn't know, I know you better than yourself and of course I'm too smart for you."

Veer mentally agreed to the first part but second part, of course not and mumbled, "Ya ya sure" and rolled his eyes.

Anu grinned at his reaction. She picked up all his files and went up to him, "There you go." She also gave him the laptop. She raised herself on her toes and kissed the tip of his nose and said, "Get to work and don't forget to take a bath."

"Sure" he replied. He turned towards the door and mumbled to himself, "Oh god! What times have come? God-like husbands are being treated like slaves." He dramatically shook his head showing his utmost disappointment and carried away the bunch of files leaving Anu smiling at his antics.

She changed from her robe to cotton capris and a cute pink t-shirt. Anu unpacked her bags and decided to do some more cleaning while Veer was doing his work. She entered the living room and saw that Veer had actually put in efforts. He had done what you could call 'primary cleaning' but after her touch the house was back to perfection.

Next she went to her kitchen. It was exactly how she had left it. 'Ah kitchen sweet kitchen!' She sighed. This was the only place which she totally owned. She thought of making dinner as she knew that Veer was longing for home food, and so was she. She set to work to prepare a special meal and in between peeped outside to see that Veer had freshened up and was sitting at the coffee table, working on his laptop. She smiled and got back to cooking.

I know Anu teasing Veer part might sound repeated but it's too much fun with them...hope you didn't get bored

opposite attracts……..that's true veer but when two people are in love than nothing matters………whether they are opposites or they are similar……….

n veer is thinking how come she knew what he was thinking……….but veer anu said it right that she know you more than you……….n yes you agree or not but she is smarter than you………😉

n veer-no husbands are not treated like slaves until husbands himself make their wife to make them slaves………n yes u r not her slave……….she loves you…….n you too…….😳
