"give up di,you can't catch me."
Muskaan threw the taunt turning back for a few second in between her non-stop giggle.
Simran was far behind her breathing heavily after running for several minutes after her spoilt little sister.She was not going to give up this time at least.
How dare she accuse Sameer of being HIV positive?Last time he flirted with a girl in their engagement ceremony,she threatened him with a kitchen knife to castrate him.That was the day he sweared that he would never lay eyes on any girl other than her.
"once I get my hands on you...i swear I'll fry you and eat with barbecue sauce." Simran yelled at her in frustration as she got out of sight and lost somewhere in the maze field.
Muskaan turned back with a glory of win in her mischievous eyes only to discover that the tinkling sounds of her anklets are the only thing reverberating there.Simran must be coming searching for her very soon.
If only she did pay a little attention to her parents in childhood neither she would have averted her sight from the direction she was running towards like crazy to protect herself from her fuming sister nor she would have dashed with something hard yet firm.
But as she was popular for her obstinacy she dashed with the thing and hit the ground pinning him beneath her.She quickly covered his mouth not even looking at his face to prevent him from making any sound after realizing that she actually collided with a living thing.
Feeling assured that her sister still did not headed towards them she turned her head slowly to face her captive affixed beneath her to meet a pair of chocolate eyes filled with perplexion,astonishment and awe gazing at her.His eyebrows were knitted together in confusion.Thick,long lashes were shading his expressive eyes.
Betraying her sanity her lips curled into a slight smile as a random thought occurred to her...any girl would die to have lashes that long and here God gifted a boy with it who has no use of it.Normally girls blink repeatedly to impress boys.
In many romantic novels she read the phrase time and again If looks could kill...
Something very similar was running inside her head...If eyes could kill...
A small voice inside her was begging to get off of him.He is nothing more than a stranger.
But she wouldn't...she couldn't.She was drowning in those pools of warm brown making her stomach knot in desire.And then...
"*SNEEZE*"
Stepping back into realitry she removed her right hand in disgust which was covering his mouth and nose too.So the eyes were not the only part of his face that can pull anyone to their gravity...
"Ew,ew,ew,ew...you sneezed on my hand,lashy fellow!"she snarled at him crinkling her nose rubbing her palm against his shirt to clear it again and again.
"Not my fault!You left me with no better option,tinker bell"Avi snapped at her still lying on the ground on his back.
He realized the continuous tinkling sound was coming from her ankle when she fall on him.No wonder he could not recognized it.His girlfriends abroad never wore something like that.
She pushed herself on the sitting position by the support of her let hand still rubbing her right palm on his shirt.She was too furious to realize that she was actually sitting on him.
"Not your fault?Oh really!!!It was not my nose which just gave a big unhygienic sneeze like that on someone's hand!" she jabbed in a mockingly coy tone.
"It was not my hand which just covered someone's nose and mouth too!"he retorted back."Until I sneezed you didn't show any sign of removing your hand.What were you planning to do?smothering me to death?...you are not a serial killer right?"
"Do I look like a pscycotic like that?I did it to silence you.My sister is following me."Muskaan clarified still in an angry voice.
"Is she seeking revenge for your brother-in-law?Did you murder that poor thing too?"he asked in bewilderedment.His temperament calmed down to a lower level at her strange clarification.
"I told you I'm not what you think!"she snapped at him.
"I hardly believe that.You were pretty much enjoying smothering me.You were smiling...I noticed."He argued with her.
"Oh that!...I was smiling because...um..."she trailed off.
She could not finish her sentence.That was something very personal...What will he stranger think of her?

With every passing second Simran was getting more irritated with her sibling.The maze plants were blocking her view so she had to search for the whole field now.
Suddenly she heard some whispering noises from her left.While advancing towards that direction the voices got clearer.As if two people were conversing...no,not conversing rather shouting at each other.One voice she could easily recognize to be of her sister but the other one seems to be a stranger.
She swatted the leaves away that were blocking her view to reveal a very odd situation.Muskaan was sitting on a young man and mopping her right hand against his chest and threatening the man beneath her.
"Are you sure you don't have any contagious disease that can spread through sneeze and nasal swab...you know llike influenza or anthrax?If so and I get i sick and can't enjoy my sister's marriege I swear I'll make sure your own wedding will be miserable."she said raising an eyebrow.
"I'm not sick okay!it's dust allergy.And surely you can carry out your threat...all you need to do is to be at the place of the bride."He crossed his arms over his chest resisting her from ruining his shirt even more.
"You..."Her voice trailed off when the voice of her sister intruded there.
"What are you doing here?"Simran finally asked in astonishment.
A baffled Muskaan turned her head to look at the direction of her sister realizing that she was sitting on a stranger for almost several minutes.Crimson coloured her cheeks.
Oh crap!Di found me like this!I'm dead.I'm so...so dead.
Quickly getting on her feet she walked towards her adorning a sheepish grin to coer up for her awkwardness.
"I..I was doing nothing di.Th...This dude collided with me out of nowhere."she stutterd out to defend herself.
Avyukt was not really embarrassed by the situation as a girl sitting on the top of him was not a very rare situation.He raised himself steadily dusting the dirts off his cloths.
Hearing her words his mouth dropped open.Simran shot a dirty glare at him.
"What!That's a white lie.She dashed into me."He accused pointing his index finger towards the girl who was trying very hard to hide the warm red on her cheeks caused by embarrassment.
Simran looked at her sister with confused eyes.
"It..it was an a...accident."she replied guiltily to her sister.
Simran's face lit up with a mischeivous grin.She went near Muskaan's ear and whispered "But why were sitting on his groin as if trying to share your HIV virus with him?"
"What!"
Her eyes almost popped out of socket at her question.
"I didn't know you had such good affinity for pretty boys."Simran threw another erbal dart towards her kid sister giving a sly wink at her.
Muskaan was dumbfounded by her rapidfire of snide remarks.
Ayukt glanced at the direction from where sounds of footsteps were coming.
"Vicky!Oh thank God the car is ready.My brain was getting almost fried up by bantering with this girl."he sighed in relief and a small grin formed on his lips which faded instantly as Vicky disclosed the real problem.
"Err...the car can't lead us farther,Avi.It has collapsed...so I'm afraid we have to make a good use of our feet."he said with a half smile.
"Great!Can it be more joyful?!...first the scorching heat...then dust allergy...this lunatic girl and now...this!"he stomped his foot on the ground in frustration.
Muskaan narrowed her eyes in rage at his comment.
"Calm down,Avi...the driver said it'll take another 15 minutes only."Vicky tried to soothe his friend.
"Then turning his head towards the direction where the two girls were standing and watching his friend vent out his frustration in amusement.
"Excuse me...can I get some help with this address?"he asked the older one showing a small paper on his hand where the address was written.
Going through the address she looked at him curiously.
"Yes,we can...may I know the reason to go to this place...if you don't mind?"she asked him.Muskaan was curious about the two strangers too.
"Well...we are invited to attend a wedding here."he clarified.
"And you come from..."she asked again confirming her doubt.
"London...the card is not sent to us actually.It was for his father"Vicky answered pointing his finger at his friend who was almost ready to pull his hair out of his head in frustration.
Simran's beautiful face lit up with a smile of anticipation "his father must be Mr. Samar Pratap Chauhan."
It was more of a statement than a question.Vicky was baffled momentarily by it.
Muskaan did the honour to clarify it.
"She is my elder sister and it's her marriage you are invited to."
"Oh!congratulations! miss..."Vicky trailed off.
"Simran Gill..."Simran completed"And my sister Muskaan." she waved her eyes towards her.
"Vikrant Sehgal...and my friend there...Avyukt Chauhan"Vicky introduced themselves.
The melodramatic co-incidence reminded Avi of a old poor hindi movie his father blackmailed him into watching when he was a kid.He was smirking as the thought occurred to him.
"Oh my God!...Avi...look at you...I always thought that you'll grow into a good-looking adult but simply had no idea that you'll look like this...You are strikingly handsome"
Simran complimented him joyfully.
A devilishly beautiful grin grin enlightened his face at the compliment.The dimples on his cheeks were making him even more adorable.
"Thank you...You are beautiful too"
"Aww...thank you and most welcome,sweetie"she patted his cheek gently in sisterly affection like she did occasionally to her impish baby sister.That one action of her warmed his heart that was reflecting on his twinkling eyes.
"You two must be tired.Let's go home."
Muskaan rolled her eyes in annoyance.Her sister is always obsessed about having brother.The lashy fellow will get showers of affection now.
He nodded as all of them headed towards the path to get their luggage out from the taxi still standing there.
"You are such a nice person.Why don't I remember you?"Avyukt thought in confusion.
"You were only two when uncle took you abroad.I guess you don't remember anything,do you?"she chuckled at him.
"Not really."he smiled at her and went to the taxi with Vicky to get the luggages out.
When the two were busy Muskaan asked her snidely "So this one is the 'chubby cheeks,rosy lips,long lashes' you were boasting about yesterday?
"What did you say?"Avi turned at her raising an eyebrow before Simran could scold her for embarrassing him.Warmth of awkwardness was gathering on his cheek at being compared to a kid.
"I was just praising you,sweetie."she smirked at him with an impish grin spreading across her face while mockingly said the word of endearment her sister used for him.
Holy Mother of Jesus!Give me the strength not to strangle her.It was all he could pray to God.
