shyam knew that the truth would creats further problems between arnav and khushi.

Even though it is not fare to khushi but she needs to forgive Arnav so that Shyam does not win in his dirty tricks.

its so heart wrenching to see them like this... khushi's anger was justified and now she has become like asr, heart put in a closed box with key lost somewhere.. arnav have really try hard to gain back her
