After the movies, they're all tired out.

Vedika: Niharika, we should go home. Mama aaj ghar aayaingi

Niharika: Haa Vedika.
They both leave for home.

Rudra, Dhruv, and Titli Mami are left.

Titli Mami: Tho, yai picture siida karni hai. Rudra, thum Niharika sai pyaar kartai ho, aur Dhruv thum Vedika sai?

Rudra and Dhruv both smile shyly.

Titli Mami: look, you can't hide anything from me…the village where I'm from, we're all the smartest and the detectives come to us to help them solve a case!

Rudra: Haa Titli Mami. Mai Niharika sai pyaar karta hu.

Dhruv: Aur mai Vedika sai…

Titli Mami: Yai huwi naa baat! Ab tho sirf shaadi ki intizaar hai!

Rudra: Nai. Titli Mami, we have a lot of problems at the moment. We can't think of marriage right now.

Titli Mami: Hai hai. Kaisi problem?

Dhruv and Rudra narrate the whole story about what's been going on there. They tell her about Antariksh, Rahul, and Suraj.

Rudra tells her what happened when they went to meet Suraj in jail.

Rudra: I know that they're up to no good. Rahul's pretty mad about Niharika and me and he's going to do whatever he can to hurt us.

Titli Mami: Not if I'm here, he won't.

Vedika and Niharika are in their car.

Vedika: tomorrow's Suraj's court case.

Niharika: yeah. Vedika, I'm scared as to what will happen.
Vedika: what do you mean?

Niharika: Well, Rahul's fighting Suraj's case.

Vedika: What!

Niharika: yeah. And that too, only to take revenge on Rudra and me.

Vedika: This is bad…Rahul can do anything…

Niharika: haa. Aur mujhe iss baath ki dar hai ki tumhai aik chot milayngi.

Vedika: Nothing will happen Niharika. Rahul can talk like that, but he can't do anything like that.

Niharika: I'm still very scared.

Vedika and Niharika get home. They see that the power is out.

Vedika & Niharika go in and Vedika goes searching for a flashlight.

She's been gone for a while and Niharika can't find her.

Niharika: Vedika?! VEDIKA!!

Just then, Niharika sees Vedika, but a hand is covering her mouth.

Niharika: Vedika, thum…

Niharika: Kon hai?

The person brings himself up so Niharika is able to see.

Niharika: Rahul?

Rahul: Haa.

Niharika: What're you doing here? Leave Vedika!

Rahul: I got her for a reason…so why would I leave her?

He smiles.

Niharika: What do you want?

Rahul: Simple. I want you to come to court tomorrow and take the case back. I want you to say that you purposely filed this report against Suraj to hurt him for not loving you. Its pretty simple.

Niharika: What! I'll never do that.

Rahul: You might want to think clearly. If you don't agree, Vedika won't have such a good future in store, but if you do agree, it'll all work out nicely…

Niharika doesn't know what to do.

PART 23

Niharika: Rahul, thum pagal ho gayai. Vedika ko choro.

Rahul: I still haven't got my answer, Niharika. If you don't answer within 1 minute…tho phir Vedika ku kya hoga, yai sirf bhagwaan jaanta.

Rahul's counting off the seconds.

Niharika's really tensed…not knowing what to do…Vedika's just standing there…trying to make Rahul let her go…

It's been 50 seconds…53...55...58...59

Niharika: Thik hai! I'll do it…just leave Vedika.

Rahul leaves her.

Rahul: And if you play any games with this deal, you'll see nobody worse than me…I'll see you at court tomorrow.

He smiles and leaves.

Niharika's really worried…not knowing what will happen…

Vedika: Niharika…you shouldn't have agreed to that.

Niharika: I'd agree to anything to get you out of danger, Vedika. But I'm really worried. Whats going to happen at court tomorrow and what will Rudra think?

Vedika: Im also worried…

They're both really tensed but finally head off to sleep.

NEXT DAY…

Everyone's filing into the court room. Vedika's and Niharika are very worried. Rudra and Dhruv come and take a seat next to them.

The court case begins.

Suraj is called up. He makes his statement saying that he'll say only the truth.

Before Rahul gets to ask his question, Niharika stands.
Niharika: I would like to take this case back.

Judge: What?
Niharika: I would like to take the case back…I got Suraj involved in this only because he refused to love me…

Niharika's looking down while she's saying this.

Rudra gets up…

There's a lot of commotion going in the room.

Rudra: Niharika…what is this?

Niharika: I'm saying the truth Rudra…

She's not looking in his face will saying this…

Judge: according to this statement…Mr. Suraj has been falsely accused of having a hand in this accident. This case will be filed as an accident and that is was a coincidence.

The people file out and Rahul's smiling…

Rudra: Niharika…why'd you do this?

Niharika: (remembering that Rahul had told her before the court started…to create differences between her and Rudra) This is the truth Rudra…I love Suraj…I only used you to take revenge on him…but it didn't work out…

Rudra: Then say this while looking in my eyes!

Niharika: Hesitantly looks up and runs away…crying…

Vedika goes after her…

Dhruv and Rudra are left there…

Dhruv: I can't believe Niharika did this…

Rudra's silent…

Vedika: NIHARIKA!!! Wait!!!

Vedika catches up to Niharika and they both sit down…

Niharika's crying…

Vedika: Niharika…you don't need to do this…just tell Rudra the truth…he'll understand..

Niharika: Vedika, if I do that, then Rahul will hurt you…

Vedika: It doesn't matter about me…just tell Rudra the truth.

Niharika: No Vedika…I can't do that…

Rudra's silent…he doesn't understand all this…but he does know that what Niharika said to him was all a lie.
Rudra's thinking why Niharika would have done this, though.

Vedika calls Rudra…asking him to meet her at the park…

Rudra: Alright…I'm coming..

Rudra takes his car to the park.

Rudra: Vedika, why'd you call me here?
Vedika: Because of Niharika.

Rudra: I don't understand what's gotten into her…why'd she do this?

Vedika: Because of Rahul…

Rudra: What does Rahul have anything to do with this?

Vedika tells Rudra everything that happened and how Niharika didn't want Vedika to get hurt.

Rudra: Tho yai sab Rahul kai vajai sai huwa. I won't leave him.

Vedika: Rudra…you can't let Rahul know that you know the truth…

Rudra: Of course I will…I'm not going run from him…he'll get it… I have a plan…

He tells Vedika the plan…
