Rudra: Doctor…kya hua? Dhruv thik tho hai naa?

Doctor: Well, the operation went well, but we cannot say anything as of now, if he does not regain conscious in 8 hours, well, we have done our best, his case was very serious.

Vedika starts crying. Niharika tries comforting her.

Rudra just stands there, shocked.

Rudra: Suraj will receive such a punishment that he'll never forget this for life.

Rudra's getting very angry now.

Niharika: Rudra, tumhe kaisai patha ki yai Suraj ki kaam hai? We've never told you.

Rudra: Niharika, I've known this for a long time, Suraj is jealous of Dhruv and he'll go to any extent to receive Vedika's love.

Suraj is very mad knowing that Vedika accusing him for hurting Dhruv.

He's going into his house when he hears a voice from behind.

People: Mr. Suraj?

Suraj: yes?

People: you are under arrest.

The cops take handcuffs out and put them around Suraj's wrist.

Suraj: For what?

Police: Mr. Dhruv Raizada has had an accident…we believe you are involved in it.

Suraj: What!!! No!!! Its not me!! It's a lie!

Police: If it is, u shouldn't be so worried. You'll be out before you know it if you are innocent. Now, come with us.

The police take Suraj away and the news get to Rudra, Niharika, and Vedika.

A few hours later

Dhruv still hasn't received conscious. The rest are all waiting…Kavitha and Viren are there also.

They're all very worried.

They hear a noise from Dhruv's room…the doctors run into it.

They stay in there for almost an hour.

After that, they come out.

Doctor: Congratulations. He is safe, there is no more danger to his health. But he still has to remain here for about 3 days.

Everyone's happy and smiling.

Vedika: Doctor, can we see him?

Doctor: Yes, but not all at once. He is still confused about what is all going on. Don't put too much pressure on him.

Vedika goes in after Kavitha and Viren.

Dhruv: Vedika?

Vedika: (crying a little) Dhruv!

They hug

Vedika: Dhruv, why can't you take care of yourself. If anything happened to you today, then I wouldn't be able to live either.

Dhruv: Nai Vedika. Don't talk like that. Nothing would have happened to me as long as you were there.

Dhruv kisses Vedika's forehead and tells her not to worry.

He tells her that they will be together forever.

Antariksh is still in jail, his court case is the next day. Viren had found a famous lawyer for Antariksh and his case seems very strong in points. The lawyer tells Antariksh that he'll be out very soon.

While then, Suraj is also in a cell. He is in need of a lawyer, but doesn't know where to get one and who will get one for him.

Just then, a man walks up to him and tells him that he will fight his case.

This man Is none other than Rahul.

Sorry, i couldnt continue yesterday, held up with a graduation party. Plenty of them this month...

Part 20

Rahul: I'll fight your case.

Suraj: Who are you? I've never met you.

Rahul: Mera naam Rahul hai.

Suraj: rahul? I still don't recognize you.

Rahul: I thought you may have heard of me from Niharika or Rudra or someone.

Suraj: Well, I haven't really been in touch with Niharika for a while. But anyway, how will you help me? You've got no clues about anything.

Rahul: Well, first, you tell me the whole story.

Suraj tellss Rahul all that happened. He tells Rahul how he had planned to just put pills in Dhruv's drinks to make him not come to the park and make Vedika mad. But what actually happened was that when Dhruv was most likely coming to the park to meet Vedika, he met with an accident.

Suraj: I had nothing to do with his accident. You've got to believe me on that.

Rahul: I believe you. With my help, you'll be out of this jail.

Rahul thinks to himself: And maybe if this game is played right, ill be able to take revenge on Rudra and Niharika.

It is Antariksh's court case today.

His case is very strong at this point.

His lawyer is pointing out that Antariksh did not purposely do this. The girl has forgiven him and is like part of his family now. The lawyer indicates that Antariksh did hit her and run, but it was not a murder case.

After a while, Antariksh is given freedom from jail and he comes home and takes a LONG rest.

Vedika's meeting Dhruv at the hospital.

She brings some food that she cooked for Dhruv.

Dhruv's eating it and they both start a conversation

Dhruv: Vedika, thanks so much for everything.

Vedika: Dhruv, what have I done?

Dhruv: you've taken such good care of me…thanks..

Dhruv kisses Vedika and Vedika smiles.

Vedika: Dhruv. If you ever are feeling any pain, I will too. If I take care of u, im taking care of myself also.

Dhruv smiles and they both hug.

Rudra and Niharika just left the hospital.

Rudra's taking Niharika to his house.

Niharika: I can't believe Suraj can do such a thing. He's never been the type to hurt someone so badly.

Rudra: Well, you can never tell for sure what a person's character really is, even if you know them well. I

Niharika: well, I'm glad Dhruv's okay. I feel sorry for him to have to go through all this.

Rudra: haa. Dhruv's never wanted to hurt anyone, and he in turn got hurt. I hope Suraj gets the punishment he deserves.

Niharika: But what if Suraj is telling the truth?

Rudra: well, maybe. I don't think he is. I mean, he's always wanted to hurt Dhruv. I mean, the way he looked and talked to Dhruv, I could tell he didn't like Dhruv's presence.

Niharika: Maybe we should go visit him?

Rudra: Do you really want to go?

Niharika: yeah, it'll give me some peace once I do go.

Rudra moves the car in the direction where the jail is. They both go in and ask to meet Suraj. While they are going there, they see Rahul and Suraj talking about the court case.

Rahul: Alright Suraj. I'll work on your case. Once this is done, the Khanna's and Raizada's will never rest in peace. I'll guarantee you on that.

Just then, Rudra and Niharika show up in front of them.

Rudra: Who won't live in peace, Rahul?

Rahul looks up, shocked.

Rahul: Rudra, why are you here?

Rudra: I could ask the same about you.

Rahul: im fighting Suraj's case. You guys don't need to get in between.

Rudra: And I'm guessing you're doing this to get revenge on Niharika and me?

Rahul: Wow! You've really started to get some brains, Rudra! Hats off to you!

Niharika: Rahul!

Rahul: Just shut up, Niharika. You two went too far last time. It's my turn to get revenge, and you two won't be able to stop what's in store for you two.

Rudra: How can you hurt us? We have no connection in the least bit with Suraj's case.

Rahul: I never said it would be revenge directly to you two. It might just be that seeing the pain of someone you've known all your life, that'll make you weak. If someone else receives pain, you will too.

Rahul smiles saying that and leaves.

Rudra and Niharika are shocked.

Rudra: Nothing will happen to Dhruv OR Vedika. I'll watch out for that.

Niharika's just staring where Rahul was the moment before.
