Chapter 10:

Recap: Group studies..

Rey wondered who the note was from. It was written in a beautiful cursive handwriting. He thought about all the possibilities about who it is from. But then he gave up and put the note in his bag. He then went out and waved to his friends and then left. Swaron and Kria had already left. The four of them had World History the next day and they wanted to get over with the exam.

Aashi and Kaycee had become close friends and they were walking to their lockers. They didn't find Rey,Swayam,Kria and Sharon so they assumed that they had left. "Aashi, does Kria study well?" Kaycee asked. "I don't know. I don't think so. She never shows me her papers. IF she got good marks, then she would show it to me right.Whenever I ask her, she's like I'll show you later." Aashi said. "Okay! But she can't do that over here. The results will be put up on the notice board." Kaycee said. "Okay! Won't it be embarresing that everyone will get to see your results?" Aashi asked. "People are used to it. And when you study well, why do you care? What grade did you get in your previous school?" Kaycee asked. "Well I usually manage to get a B. I don't go below that. But Kria? I don't know." Aashi said. "It's okay! Leave it. Just worry about yourself." Kaycee said, and they walked home.

At Kria's house:

Kria came home, and she just flopped onto the bed like she did always. She was satisfied with how she had written the exam. Kria changed into her home clothes and went and stood in front of the mirror. She touched her chain, the one which Rey had given her and smiled to herself. "Why does he affect me so much?" Kria wondered. She was going crazy about Rey but she couldn't tell anyone, not even her diary because someone was sure to take it. So she just kept it in her heart. She got a call from Swayam. "Hey Sway!" she said. "Hey! Kria! I just wanted to ask you about that comment. What on earth made you think that Sharon would like to go out with me?" Swayam asked. "Huh? Does that mean you like her?" Kria asked, puzzled. "Kria! Answer my question!" Swayam said. "No, really. Do you like her more than a friend Swayam? You can tell me. I can keep a secret." Kria said. Swayam hesitated. "I don't like her, I love her. I've loved her since 8^th grade." Swayam said. "Okay wow! Ever wondered if she likes you too?" Kria asked. "I have but I don't think she'll ever like me more than a best friend. Because in 5^th grade she liked this guy called Josh and she kept telling everyone she liked him. I don't think she can keep a crush a secret." Swayam said. "Trust Me. She can. Just go and tell her man!" Kria said. "NO WAY! I'm not going to until I find out who she likes." Swayam said. "Oookay! Your wish!" Kria said. "I got to go now Sway! See you tomorrow at School. And best of luck for World History." Kria said, and hung up. She smiled to herself. "Both of them are mad. Really mad. Why can't they just tell each other." Kria thought.

At Rey's place:

Rey took the note from his bag and saw it again and again. Somehow he felt something when he read the note. "Who can it be from?" he thought. He called Kria but her number kept coming busy. So he called Sharon and Swayam and put it on conference call. "Hey rey! What's up?" Sharon asked. "Rey, what happened? Anything wrong?" Swayam asked. "Yea! Actually I found this note in my locker. It was a love note. But I don't know who it is from. There's no hint for that." Rey said. "Maybe it's from someone we know." Swayam said. "Maybe. Maybe not. You have to see the note tomorrow." Rey said. "Okay! Now don't keep thinking about it. Go study!" Sharon said. They hung up and went back to studying.

Next day after the exam they had dance practice too. Everyone had done their exam well and they were sitting in the rehearsal hall when Rey showed the note to Swayam. "Okay! This handwriting I've seen somewhere." Swayam said. "What??? Tell me where!!" Rey said,looking at swayam. "Wait. I just said I've seen it. Let me think." Swayam said. "Think fast!" Rey said. "I'll think and if I get the name I'll tell you." Swayam said. Kria,Sharon, Aashi and Justin joined them. "Hey, whats up?" Kria asked. "Nothing much! I'm just asking Swayam about the exam." Rey said. "Yea that's exactly what he asked. How have you done your exam Kria?" Swayam asked. "Well, we'll see when the results come." Kria said. Ms.Martinez entered. She was going to give them the prop today. Everyone were so excited. She told the others their props. She had cut some of the pair performances so there were only 8 pairs now. She came to where Rey and gang were sitting. Rey and Kria were the only one who didn't know their prop. "Rey and Kria, you'll be doing an aerial act." Ms.Martinez said. "WHAT??? AERIAL??" Kria and Rey shouted. "Yea, you'll be doing aerial." Ms.Martinez said, and told them to get ready. "I've never done aerial before."Kria said to rey. "Neither have i!" Rey said. "It'll be a different experience." Kria nodded. The prop was actually a heart with a small slab like thing to stand/lie down on.

Ms.Martinez asked everyone to leave except Kriyansh. "Can we stay and watch too?" Swaron asked. "Okay! But don't leak out anything." Ms.Martinz said. Swaron went and sat in the corner from where they would get a good view. They started practicing. It was kinda wobbly at first but they got used to it. The competition was going to be held after two weeks. Everyone had different timings to practice, so they hardly saw each other. After the practice the next day, Rey went to his locker to find another note from the same person.

It read:
You show some signs, but I'm not sure, It's a secret love, and you're the cure,

I just need to know what you think about me."

There was no name again and Rey got really mad. He was really desperate to find out who it was. He couldn't think of anything else but who the notes were from. He got notes from the same person everyday.

The next day, Sharon,Swayam and Rey were waiting for Kria in the cafeteria for lunch. Kaycee and Aashi were nowhere to be seen. So Sharon asked Rey. "Ehem..Rey! So Kria told me you just danced at the surprise party you gave her? Did you guys do only that?" Rey looked at her. "Why do you want to know?" Rey asked. "Sway! Look at him! We're his best friends and he's not telling us." Sharon complained to Swayam. "C'mon Rey! Tell us! Like we're gonna tell it to the whole world." Swayam said. "Well, I'm not kidding. We really only danced. And talked ofcourse." Rey said, looking the other way. Swaron smiled at each other. "Okay! We believe you." They said. "You better." Rey said. They started laughing.

Kaycee was just sitting behind them and she heard everything. About the surprise party. She got up and found Aashi. "Hey Aashi! Do you know that Rey kept a surprise party for Kria on her b'day?" she asked. "NOO!! Who told you this?" Aashi asked. "I heard Sharon, Swayam and Rey talking about it." Kaycee said. "How come Kria never told me this?" Aashi asked. She wanted to confront Kria once she got home. How can Kria do this to her? She knew that Rey was her boyfriend.

Precap: "Kria! I need to talk to you.."
