Chapter 11:

Recap: Just random things.

"How can she do this to me?" Aashi thought. She couldn't confront Kria in front of everyone so she had to wait to go home and talk to her.

Meanwhile Kria had come to the cafeteria. "Hey guys! Sorry I'm late." Kria said. She sat next to Sharon. "It's okay..!" Sharon said, making space for her. "Omg! That chain is beautiful. How come I never saw it?" Sharon asked. "Well, it's a gift for my birthday." Kria said, looking at Rey. "Oo..from who?" Sharon asked. "Fro...From..Rey.." Kria said and blushed. Sharon elbowed her. "Haha okay!" Sharon said. Swayam smiled at her cuteness. Rey loved to see Kria smile and hated it when she was upset. They talked and ofcourse after that they had dance practice. They practiced not having the attitude of winning but for the passion of dancing. J After dance, they were quite satisfied with how the dance had come out. They had to get their costumes soon. Ms.Martinez was gonna get them the dresses for the dance. They went home and Kria had to go to the caf for work. (I know I didn't write about work for so many days..) She changed and went fast. After she returned, there was no one home except Dhruv. It was only 7:30 p.m. and no was at home. "Strange!" Kria thought. She went up to her room and changed into a striped tee and jeans. She got a call from Sharon. "Hey! What's up?" Kria asked. "Nothing much. I was just bored. So I called." Sharon said. "Oh you can call me anytime you want." Kria said. "I know. Hey, has Rey already come there yet?" Sharon asked. "No, why? He didn't tell me he was coming." Kria said. "Well, it seems like Aashi told him to take her to dinner." Sharon said, annoyed. "Oh..okay!" Kria said, not knowing what to say next.

Just then the door to her room opened and Aashi stood there. Kria looked at her. "Kria, I wanna talk to you." Aashi said. "Sharon, I'll talk to you soon." Kria said, keeping her phone on the bed but forgetting to disconnect the call. "Yea Aashi tell me!" Kria said. "Why didn't you tell me that Rey kept a party for you?" Aashi asked. Kria was shocked. "What? When.. did..he keep a party for me?" Kria asked. "KRIA! Don't lie to me! I know everything what happened in the party!" Aashi said. "What? Everything???" Kria asked, scared if she came to know about the special moment they had shared. "I heard that you danced!" Aashi said. "Who told you all of this?" Kria asked. "KRIA! IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO TOLD ME! IT MATTERS THAT YOU DIDN'T TELL ME. HOW CAN YOU GO TO REY'S PARTY WHEN HE IS MY BOYFRIEND?" Aashi shouted. "Aashi, I didn't go wantedly. I never knew that he was gonna keep a surprise party. Why would I want to hurt you?" Kria asked. "I don't want to listen to anything Kria! All I know is you hurt me by going to his party!" Aashi said. "WHY ARE YOU ASKING ME ALL THIS? You're talking as if I pulled him away from you!!" Kria said. "YOU DID! YOU DID PULL ME AWAY FROM HIM BY GOING TO THE PARTY!!!" Aashi said. Kria was dumbstruck. "But.. Aashi..I al..always care about your feelings!" Kria said. "KRIA! YOU'RE MAKING ME HATE YOU THESE DAYS! FIRST OF ALL, I ASKED DAD FOR A CAR AND HE NEVER BOUGHT ME ONE. AND YOU DIDN'T EVEN ASK HIM and HE GAVE YOU A cAr!" Aashi screamed. "But Aa..aashi! They're my parents too!" Kria said. "NO KRIA! THEY're NOT YOUR PARENTS!! YOU ARE NOT MY REAL SISTER. THIS IS NOT YOUR REAL FAMILY. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS YOU. THEY NEVER ASK ME WHAT I WANT! THEY LIKE YOU MORE THAN ME. THEY GET THINGS FOR SOMEONE ELSE BUT NOT THEIR REAL DAUGHTER! HOW MUCH CAN I TAKE KRIA? DON'T YOU GET IT? YOU ARE NOT MY REAL SISTER! DON'T PRETEND TO BE ONE." Aashi said. Kria had tears flowing from her eyes now. "WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO AASHI?" Kria asked, her voice breaking because she was crying. "STAY AWAY FROM REY EXCEPT FOR THE DANCE! THAT'S ALL I'm ASKING YOU TO DO!" Aashi said. Kria couldn't take it. "st'sta..stay away from R'R.Rey?" Kria asked. "YEA IS IT A PROBLEM?" aashi asked. Kria didn't have the slightest idea what to say.They heard the door open downstairs. Kria ran down to see Rey standing near the stairs waiting for Aashi. When he saw Kria coming down crying, he was shocked. Kria tried to run past him but he caught her hand and looked at her. "LET ME GO REY!" Kria said sternly. But Rey didn't listen. "kria.. what happened? Why are you crying?" Rey asked, unable to see her cry. "JUST LET ME GO REY! I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU!" Kria said which made Rey leave her hand. She opened the door and ran outside on the sidewalk. She ran and ran, wiping her tears but didn't stop crying. She ran to the beach, the place she went to when she was happy or sad. She didn't care if there was a high tide. She ran on the sand and suddenly tripped and fell down but she didn't care to get up. She folded her hands in front of her and rested her head on top of her hands and cried more. She couldn't believe what Aashi had just said to her. She had always thought Aashi as her real sister. She thought that Aashi felt the same way for her. But no , she didn't. All she did was hate Kria.

Kria's POV:

Now she's asking me not to talk to Rey. Will I be able to do that? Maybe Aashi'll tell him something too and then he'll hate me forever. That's great. It'll be easier then.

Sharon had heard everything what Aashi had said. She couldn't believe it. She had never liked Aashi but Sharon had never thought that Aashi would cross her limits like this. "That B*tch!" Sharon thought. Next, she thought about Kria. About what she must be feeling then? She hung up and called Kria again. But she didn't pick up as Kria had left her mobile at home. She called her house no. Aashi was the one who took the phone. "Kria's not home!" Aashi said and slammed down the phone. "Where can Kria be?" Sharon thought. She called Rey to ask if he had already reached her house. "Hey Sharon, Kria ran out crying. She told me that she won't talk to me. I can't see her cry. Do something. I can't come with you right now because Aashi's here with me." Rey said, and after that he went back to the dinner with Aashi because he had excused himself for a minute.

I know where she'll be." Sharon said, taking her car keys. "Mom, I'm going to get icecream!" Sharon said, and went out,started her car and drove to the beach. As she had predicted, Kria was there. Now Kria was sitting on the ground with her head resting on her knees. "Kria?" Sharon called. Hearing Sharon's voice, Kria turned and ran and hugged Sharon tight. "It's okay Kria! I'm sure she didn't mean what she said." Sharon said, trying to console Kria. But Kria wouldn't stop crying. "How can she tell me that? And she's telling me not to talk to Rey… Sharon I like Rey. I like Rey more than a friend . I can't be without talking to him." Kria said. "I know you like him Kria! I know that. And you don't have to listen to everything Aashi says. Just think of it as a bad dream and forget the whole incident." Sharon said. Now both of them were sitting on the sand and kria's head rested on Sharon's shoulder. Sharon didn't know how long it was gonna take to get this off Kria's mind. But she wanted to be there when her best friend wanted her. And she will be there. No matter what anyone says.
