"nupur ki bachhi " bui held nupur with her arm as she attempted to escape with suhaani

bui hit her on the side of her head "yeh bhaaghi kahaan jaarahin hain? tu kab ayegi yeh tho bataa. " and catching mayank walking with adhiraj, called him," mayank beta"

"kya baat hain bui?" mayank came nearer limping slightly

" mayank beta, dekho main nupur se kab se poochrahin hoon ki wo kab morena aayegi. tum kya bolthe ho beta? " nupur shook her head in the negative ," agar bhaiyya bhaabhi hote tho... Akele nahin rehthe aisi waqt pe"

mayank exchanged glances with nupur but he didn't know how to refuse bui

"uska exams hojaayega... " mayank hesitantly started

"nahin" Nupur blurted out ," bui mujhe kahin nahin jaana.main akeli nahin hoon. mujhe mayank ke saath rehna hain. Main...main ...mayank main tumhaare bina... " and looked at him for help

bui looked at her, then at mayank understanding their need to stay with each other and then at the rest," bahaana banana ki zaroorat kya thi? Teek hain" nupur hugged her," khush rah par godbharaai ke liye ...chodo bas maine jo bhi tumse kahaan hain wo yaad rakhna " and turned around to see the place where people were still congrajulating samrat and gunjan.

" Yeh aaj kal ke bachhe?!" she sighed, "usko dekho... kaisi shaadi hain nupur? Na koi phere hue na koi rasam. Aur ab gunjan kya sindhoor lagaayegi bhi ya nahin"

Nupur and suhaani instinctively lifted their fingers up to check if they had their sindhoors in place ( mayank and adhiraj grinned at each other) ' or else they would also have to listen to bui s lectures. And sighing she left .

"aur tum kya mujhe khushi khushi bhejne ka plan banarahe the? Main sab jaanthi hoon aur main kahin nahin jaanewaali" nupur scolded mayank and left.

Evening- Wedding is over, everyone is wishing samrat and gunjan. Lots of hugging and crying and kissing.Nupur running behind a waiter with a tray of glasses of wine/champagne

"bhaiyya!" he turned. She picked a glass," shukriya" before she could drink from it, a hand stoped her.

"yeh kya kar rahe ho?" mayank too the glass ,"ek minute ke liye bhi nahin chodke jaasaktha tumhe"

"meri behen ki shaadi hain tho main khush bhi nahin hosakthi? Aur waise bhi tum tho ria ke saath the " she said and sat huffily on the nearest chair , called the witer again," bhaiyya" he came and held the tray high, she lifted her hand and said," abh aapko kya hua?"

" Aisi haalat mein itna sharaab nahin peena chahiye. Bachhe ke liye achha nahin hota madam" she put her hand down," pehle hi chaar glass hogaye"

"choutha nahin peeya, usne leliye" the waiter waited," achha teek hain jao" he turned ," bhaiyya, shukriya" the waiter turned and smiled at mayank

Mayank limped and sat next to her and held out a tissue. She wiped her nose and eyes. Adhiraj and benji came to the table.

" bachpan ki aadat nahin gayi na tumhaari. Meri chugli karne gaye the?" nupur said looking at adhiraj

"haan tho? maine kahaan ki mat peeyo aur phir mayank ne hi kahaan tha hum dono se ki tumpar nazar rakhe"

"kyun uki nazar kispar thi?" she held her tummy as she felt something hit her

"raj, tum yahaan ho. main tumhe dhoondrahin thi" suhaani came and plopped down on the next chair

"kyun jaan, miss karrahin thi ya phir se kisiki buraayi karni thi?" adhiraj pulled her leg

"very funny. Main backbite nahin karthi. Nupur, tumhe kya hua?" she sniffed

"kuch nahin. Suhaani wo kaun hain jo sar se pau tak diamaond ke dukaan jaise khadi hain?"

"kaun? Wo? She s such a bore nupur. My dads cousins wife. kyun?"

"agar wo phir se gunjan ki upar koi bhi comment karegi tho..." nupur said her voice simultaneously teary and angry

"wo tho big gossip hain nupur. Ignore karo" she sniffed and picked up the tissue adhiraj held out for her and cried.

The guys continued to give tissues as the girls looked at gunjan and samrat still crying

"yeh meriwaali ka tho pata chaltha hain par tumhaarewaali ro kyun rahin hain?" mayank asked softly

" bidaai hai kisika bhi chalega inko rone ke liye "adhiraj smiled," yaad hain benji mere shaadi mein dia kitni royi thi?"

"haan par wo ..." benji stopped and said wistfully," hamara breakup tabhi hua tha" His usually smiling face looked unusually serious.

Mayank put a hand out on his shoulder. He smiled again," but guys its okay. Hum dono ko saath nahin rehna tha. sab ka affair tha tho...mistake . par main aaj bohot khush hoon. samrat and gunjan ke liye"

they looked at sam-gunjan talking to ria/rohan ashwini .ria caught sight of them and waved at mayank. Mayank waved back and finishing his glass, placed it on the table. Nupur glared at the empty glass and then at mayank.

uday and dia came and sat next to them," hi guys " and wiped her eyes. The guys looked at benji and passed him the tissues.

"ab tho rona bandh karo darling " adhiraj held suhaanis hands

"nupur tumne wo halwa khaaya? Kya dekh rahe ho? "uday

All of them stared at gunjan and samrat who were obviously happy Then they turned , spotted the gang and walked to them and collapsed on the chairs next to them

"chashmish ,main kabhi bhi shaadi nahin karnewaala phir se" samrat announced

"achha mujhse bhi nahin agale janam mein" gunjan flirted for a change

"chashmish tum teek ho? " and felt her forehead. She shook her head and grinned happily.

"chalo samrat last guests hain chalke bye boldethe hain" and pulling a reluctant samrat they left leaving behind a set of ppl happy beyond measure.

everyone else got up and followed them tired after the days excitement except nupur.

"kya hua?" mayank as she was still sitting

"tum mujhse pyaar nahin karthe mayank." Mayank made a what the hell happened face," adhiraj ne 5 minute mein do baar suhaani ko pyaar se jaan , darling bhulaya. Aur samrat ne gunjan ko chashmish...par tum...ek baar bhi..."

"but nupur samrat tho hamesha chahsmish hi kehtha hain aur adhiraj..."

He replied uncomfortably but seeing her still sniffing, moved forwards and steeling himself said,

" main tumhe kya bulaao? Sweetheart? Ya honey? Nahin wo dono meete hain.ya dearest? Nahin?" keeping his sarcasm out as much as he could," tho hindi mein jaanemann? Ya meri jaan?ya mallika e azam? Ya princess? Ya phir sexy?" he smiled and said naughtily

"mayank!" nupur blushed looking lovely inspite of her tearstained cheeks

Seeing the blush on her face, he kissed her forehead affectionately ," ya chunnu munnu ki maa"

Nupur blushed further and got up quickly but before she could say something, she held her tummy. She felt a cramp and the hand holding mayanks held it tighter.

"kya hua?" mayank asked her as her face contorted in pain. Then she relaxed.

"kuch nahin suddenly pain hua par ab teek hain" and then she felt something inside her , she couldn't understand what it was but it felt odd," mujhe darr lagrahaan hain mayank. Subah se yeh bohot baar ho chukaa hain "

"kya ?" mayank felt his mind desert him momentarily but as she leaned on him for support, he decided," hospital, main samrat ko..."

"nahin hum unko aaj kyun ...chalo" he nodded and they left together
