Nice start...

Khushi opened the door to the house where she had spent all her life with just her mother, Garima. She entered the house and turned around to see Nani still at the door unable to move even an inch.

Khushi: Please come in. she said softly offering her hand.

Nani held Khushi's hand and entered the house as Khushi supported her. She saw how bad was the condition of the house and what all Garima must have gone through in the last thirty years. Never even once had she complained. Forget about complaining nobody even knew if she was living or dead. As Khushi went in to pack her belongings, Nani took a round of the house remembering how ten year old Maanyata and Garima used to play in the veranda of the Vadhera House.

Flashback 1: Two little girls playing 'stapue' in the veranda wearing frocks. One of them dressed like a princess with a frillier frock and fancy clips in her hair (Maanyata) and the other one wearing a simple white cotton frock with a red colour ribbon in her hair (Garima). The girls giggled uncontrollably as they both sat together and gossiped for hours. End of flashback!

Khushi: Please have a seat. She said indicating towards a settee lying in the only hall of the house.

Nani: Is this Garima's Bed? She asked trying to get voice out of her chocked throat.

Khushi: Yes.

Shanti Vadhera sat on the withered settee not able to support her body any longer with tears flowing continuously😭. Khushi came out with some clothes in her hands.

Khushi: Nani, would you like to have some tea?

Nani: No beta, Just pack all of your belongings and we will leave then. Let everything else be kept on its place.

Khushi: But Nani? 😕This is a rented house; we will have to take everything out.

Nani: You don't worry about it. I'll ask my grandson to buy it.

Khushi was shocked 😲to hear it. Why did she want to by such a middle class house when she herself stayed in a bungalow?

Khushi: Why?

Nani ignored her question and asked: Since when are you both staying here?

Khushi went mute for a minute. Khushi: Since always!

Arnav moved around on the pool side and giving up to his anxiety and called the Vadhera House.

Manorma Mami: Hello Hi?

Arnav: Hello Mami, this is Arnav this side.

Manorma Mami: Yes Arnav Bitwa? How are you, is everything fine?

Arnav: Yes Mami, everything's fine at our end. How are you?

Mami: I am waiting for your Nani since the morning. She was to come today for an important gathering. The guests have also been waiting. How long will she take to reach here?

Arnav: What do you mean, hasn't she reached yet?

Mami: Reached? Are you sure she left home to come here? She hasn't reached yet.

Arnav: Actually Mami, she left with some girl, I thought maybe she would have gone to the Vadhera House on her way back.

Mami: No beta, I have no information about her. Do you know who the girl was with whom she left? She asked with concern in her voice. [Mami is good yet comic character in this FF]

Just then Arnav heard the door bell ring.

Arnav: Mami I think she's back. I'll just ask her to give you a call back.

Mami: Bye Bye!

Arnav went down the stairs in to the Hall to see his Nani enter with a young girl wearing a sky blue churidar. At first he was so furious and worried for his Nani that he just didn't pay any attention to the third person in the room.

Arnav: Nani, there's a limit to everything. Do you have any idea how worried we all were? He wasn't loud but the worry was clear in his firm and heavy voice.

Nani: Chhote, this is Khushi. She introduced the young innocent girl standing next to her.

Arnav: Sorry, I didn't recognize her.

Nani: She is Garima's daughter.

On hearing Garima's name, there was a mix of emotions that Arnav went through, both positive as well as negative. But on the other side Khushi's innocent face didn't let the negative emotions be strong enough to withstand the happiness he felt in his heart.

Nani called HP to pick up Khushi's luggage and keep it in the room upstairs. HP picked up the luggage and walked with Nani. Khushi tried to follow them but found Arnav standing in front of her. She tried to move a little on the side and walk but in turn rubbed her left shoulder with his strong arm.

Next: Arnav gets to know about Garima's death!

Sorry guys have been really busy last few days and will remain so till sunday evening. So next BPK update on sunday😊
