She stood there, moving her feet carelessly in silence.

'God why isn't he saying anything?!!' she thought.

Few hours ago.

Her phone buzzed crazily as she tried looking for it. "Aahhh Where is it?!!!" she screamed, throwing everything that she came across.

'I'm a Barbie girl' was the ringtone.

"Aha! Found you!" she grabbed her phone and looked at the screen.

Her hands started shivering seeing the number flashing on the screen; the name above it to be precise.

"B...baba...jiii" she shivered nervously.

Holding the phone in her shaky hands, she pressed the answer button.

"Hello" that voice, that deep masculine voice.

Her heartbeats raced like a marathon was going on, and she cut the call abruptly. Her hands started trembling and her knees buckled. Moments later she realized what the hell she just did.

"Yeh Maine Kya Kar Diya!! I Cut the..i cut his call! Omg Geet you idiot!" she cursed herself.

Cutting the call meant, she'd have to call him back. Yikes..

Giving a quick prayer to her Babaji, she dialled his number; oh yes she remembers it off by heart.

Ring

Her heart thumped against her chest as she waited for him to pick up the call.

He picked it up, but didn't speak. 'Damn say something before I faint!'

He chuckled and she nearly fell on the floor.

"Why'd you cut the call?" he enquired.

"Woh...Uhh...Woh...haan! Woh ...Umm..." she didn't know what to say.

"Okay anyway, I just rang because I wanted to talk about your friend and my brother" he trailed off.

"He's your brother?!" her eyes almost popped out.

No wonder they looked similar to each other..

"Yeah..he's my younger brother, been acting weird for the past few days so I thought maybe..." he trailed off again.

"Oh Oh I'll meet you instead!" she quickly said and then bit her tongue.

"You're so eager to meet me" he chuckled.

"Woh...Uhh..no nothing like that bas..." she cursed herself mentally for looking like a despo.

"I'll meet you at XYZ Place" he said.

"Okay.." she murmured and ended the call.

So here she was, standing there awkwardly like a fool. He wasn't saying anything! Babaji!!

She was leaning against the tree whilst he sat on the bench.

'Lagta Hai He's not gonna speak at all...Chal Geet, let's go back' she thought sadly as she turned around to walk away.

"Where do you think you're going?" she stopped walking as she heard his voice.

'Babajiii'

She turned around slowly, and saw him walking towards.

"Woh..you weren't saying anything so I thought I should leave.." she stuttered.

"I can say the same to you. You didn't even tell me you're here" he chuckled.

She looked away embarrassed. It's true, she was here and he hadn't even seen her. And already she was thinking about leaving, what a fool.

"Sorry" she mumbled.

"It's okay, come let's sit down and talk" he said.

Both sat down, she was so Damn close to him! She moved away slightly, creating some distance.

"You were saying on the phone?" he turned towards her to look at her, shifting a little closer in the process.

"What was it that..we were gonna talk about..?" she mumbled, moving away slightly.

'Babaji doesn't he understand! I'm allergic to him!' she pouted.

"About my brother and your friend, Meera" he said, staring at her lost state.

"Oh! Umm...idk Meera does seem to like him, don't know for sure..." she trailed off.

"I think she does, I've seen the two look at each other and ..almost blush away...weird.." he said amused.

He looked at her, she was staring at him..lost..and almost sad.

"Geet" he waved his hand in front of her.

"Huh.." she blinked away, turning her head sideways.

"Has something happened?" he asked.

'Yeah, I've fallen in love with you what else'

"What?" she heard him say.

She bit her tongue and closed her eyes tightly, she did it again. She just self-talked her feelings out to him ; to him dammit!

Moments passed and she didn't hear anything from him, not even an 'I Love You Too'. Her heart felt as though it had been pierced with thousands of needles. She realized he didn't love her, otherwise he would have said the three words back.

Before her tears could come out from their hiding place, she stood up.

And ran.

"You're such an idiot Geet! See he doesn't love you! Why did you have to say it!" she mumbled as she ran through the park.

She was on the road that was surrounded by trees on either side. It was getting dark already and she even forgot to bring her phone with her.

"Love sucks! It makes you do things you never imagined! And then just like that everything falls apart.." she murmured.

"I hate you Babaji! You never listen to me! He doesn't love me, you could have told me!" she cried.

She shrieked in surprise and then horror when she felt herself slammed against one of the trees. She was about to scream when a hand covered her mouth. She couldn't see who it was as she struggled against the iron grip.

"You never waited for my answer did you"

She heard his sensuous voice and stopped breathing.
