Geet came towards the dining table where she saw Rajveer and Asmi sitting and her mother serving breakfast to Rajveer.

Geet went to Asmi and gave a peck on her cheek.

Good Morning Asmi ,Good morning Jiju.

Jiju ,aap yaha ?? woh bhi itni subah??

Today is a holiday for Asmi ,so she wanted to spend time with her nani so I brought her here.

Ok.

Geet ,he said while wiping his hands with a napkin..Geet let's go together and I want you to be ready in next 15 mins.

Okk okk Jiju...She again ran towards her room.

Maan was almost ready , He sat down to tie his shoe lace.

Maan ,guess what ,Adi came running towards Maan

Who got best business Man of the year award?? Adi said in excitement.

Dad???Maan asked in double excitement.

Yeah..!!!

Maan was super happy to hear the news .

Ek minute Adi ,I'll call dad.

He took his mobile to dial ,but stopped before pressing the button and looked at Adi .

Adi...but..

Maan...stop thinking and just call him.

He is still angry with me ,Maan said in a disappointed tone.

Maan he is not angry ,you are his son ,why would he be angry for so long??said Adi while keeping his hand on Maan's shoulder.

Geet Jaldi ,we are getting late.

Aayi..aayi ...aayi Jiju.

Geet we are getting late ,Rajveer said while pointing his finger towards his watch.

Geet agar hum aj office late pahunche na...toh I'm telling you .

Sooorry Jiju ,Ab chalein.

They both sat in the car.

Babaji aaj mujhe mere boss se bacha lena ,Geet said it in a quite audible tone.

Unhe latecomers bilkul pasand nahi hai...!!! So please babaji ...aaj mujhe daant se bacha lena ,Geet talked while adding extra dramatic effects to her lamba conversation with her babaji.

Rajveer looked at her and her antics.

Geet??What are you doing??

Trying to save myself from my Jij...no...no...boss.

Tum bhi na Geet ,he smiled.

Maan took his mobile and dialled a number.

Mom...

Maan ,he heard a very happy tone on the other side

Maan ...how are you beta? How is your new job?? Is everything fine??Are you...

Mom..mom...Itne saare questions??

Aur nahi toh kya... you have indulged yourself in your new job to such extent that you didn't even bother to call me yesterday...complained her mom.

Sorry mom , I'm holding my ears.

Accha ok...ye batao kaise ho Maan??

I'm fine mom ...and even my job is very good.

We miss u a lot Maan.

Even I miss you people a lot .

Khaana toh thik se khaa rahe ho na beta.

After a series of long questions and answers ,Maan his mom talked to for a while .

Mom actually...actually I want to congratulate dad..Is he there in the house.

There was a strange silence on the phone for a while.

Woh Maan ,your dad just left for the office ,there's a very important meeting today so...

Maan cut the phone and looked at Adi .

Adi kept looking at Maan ,what happened Maan ,tumne bat kyun nahi ki Uncle se?

Maan looked at his mobile.

Kuch nahi Adi ,he is not in the house ,he might be busy in his meeting now, I'll talk to him later .

Maan stood up to leave and took his keys

have breakfast and then go.

No Adi...I just don't feel like ,wahi khaa loonga kuch.

Maan said and left for the office even without having breakfast.

He very well understood the feelings of Maan ,he knew that he missed his parents a lot .

Maan's dad one of the most successful and famous business tycoons of India.

Maan was never interested in joining his dad's business ,he was always interested in journalism ,even during his college he was more into such activities ,sitting in the office would never give him that satisfaction .

Even in journalism he could easily get his job with the help of his father ,instead what he chose was to believe in his own capabilities and make his own identity .

Maan had to overcome through a lot of difficulties before getting the job , it wasn't a path of roses for him.

He was often tempted to chose the easier route by taking help of his dad ,a comfortable way but he never did that ,he failed many times but never stopped trying and finally he got the job that he always wished for.

Even now, Maan's father is not very happy with Maan's decision of leaving everything and joining a news paper.

This conflict between both of them is something that leaves both of them disappointed at times.

This time Maan and Geet got different work to do. They got so busy in accompanying their seniors that they didn't even bother about each other..they kept working and it was time for a small break

Good..she smiled, she was quite tired.

They both went to get a cup of coffee ...

Just then ,Maan kept the news paper on the table with another person accompanying him with a file in another hand.

Damn...look at this graph ,I don't believe that people who aren't enough educated have so much power in their hands!!

Geet looked at the paper and then Maan.

Why...??What's wrong in that?

Sometimes experience matters more than education Mr.Maan.

Even after getting highly educated ,people fail to understand the problems and necessities of people.

SO what's wrong if a person who is not enough educated but has a capability to understand the problems of his people gets a chance to represent them and take care of the responsibilities.

Oh Thanks for your opinion Ms. Geet but it all looks good theoretically...I simply don't believe in the funda of giving all the responsibilities to a person who is not enough educated and doesn't even know the A of Administation !!

The one who represents should be very well aware of everything...Education actually enhances a person's thinking .

I simply don't believe...in the idea of people with no education representing the people...I strongly feel that there should be a basic requirement of studies , basic knowledge about things.

I mean if you are asked to prepare a policy ,will you be able to do so ...I don't think.

Look...You taking it in a different direction.

No I'm not Ms.. Geet it's your piece of information that's taking this discussion towards everything.

They kept arguing with each other ,the argument was getting more and more stronger as they both were keeping their personal opinions further and the people around them just kept looking at them as if there was a strong debate competition going on.

Their argument only paused when they heard a voice .

What's happening here??

Maan and Geet tutned back to find Rajveer standing behind them and looking at them angrily.

There was a sudden silence and everyone stood up .

Sir...actually.

Both of you ...In my cabin RIGHT NOW!!

Rajveer left ,leaving the both behind, they looked at each other ...till then they only fighted for silly things ,things that they didn't even bother about ...but now they started to pass strong negative vibes to each other.

Working in a newspaper their opinions were extremely opposite.

They walked towards Rajveer's cabin...while giving each other super angry looks.

As they were a part of the new and junior staff ,they hardly got to meet Rajveer in the office ,as only the prominent members of the staff had meetings with him.

As an employee even Geet didn't enter Rajveer's cabin till now..she was about to enter but for what??

To face an angry Rajveer and all because of The Stupid-impatient-colleague!!

All these things were enough to ignite her anger as well as his anger.

They knocked at entered the cabin.

It was very quite.

What was happening outside?Rajveer asked while looking at his laptop .

Sorry Sir..actually..

He looked at them.

Maan and Geet.

We all work together ,we all carry a different set of opinions and that doesn't mean we fight with everyone who doesn't agree with you.

It's a wrong attitude.

We all work together ,I want you people to respect each other's opinion ...because none of you is completely wrong or completely right.

You just started your career ,so I want you people to carry a better attitude and you people disappointed mewith your behavior.

We are very sorry Sir.

Saying sorry doesn't help Ms Geet ,I want you to realise your mistake and respect each other's opinion.

I don't want to see your lowered heads next time.

Anyways ,I'm not the one who assigns you people your work but as you people are here I thought of assigning it.

Here's your new assignment ,he handed them a file.

You both are gonna handle this together.

Sorry...not much of maaneet in this update as well...actually It'll take some time to form a story between maaneet .

As I have told earlier ,there'll be many things in this FF other than maaneet love story...they work for a newspaper , Maan's father is not happy with Maan's desicion ,Maan-Geet's strongly opposite opinions, just at the starting point of their ambitions... many things will be included and maaneet story will take time to develop.

Hope you are ok with it ,do tell me...will be waiting for your response 😳
