Great start to story. Like you I wish there was a good English translation of the Humsafar book.

Anyway, its nice to see familiar characters in a new story. I'm going to find all the other FF's you've written and catch up on it.

Yes...I still wish, some one can write down a good translation of the book. We are missing out on a lot of details in the show. At least that is my take.

Erhm! As for my other works...Its a lot of experimentation. I wouldn't bother with the old ones.

asher made an entry, finally :) was waiting for him :P

& this strong khirad, who can cope through all is starting to grow on me. Her resistance to break is what pulls me towards her character. You have laid her out so beautifully, that one will start to admire her.Its always tough to walk away, but her courage is her strength.

i'm looking forward too how these long lost cousins, reconnect perhaps?

great chapter, looking forward to more.

I commend Khirad for having the guts to walk out on everything and start a fresh. The will power and strength of Khirad's character, right from the start, always leaves me in awe.

Because I'm not following the show properly, I don't recognise all the characters. Who are Shaheen and Khiraz?

The book is written in Urdu, right? I could read Urdu a very long time ago when I was around 9-10 because it's so similar to Arabic and taught us Urdu as well as Arabic in the Madrasah I attended...well that is long gone and history. But even so, the translations of a book never really live up to the actual novel.

I'm just keeping Khirad the same as in the show...and as for the other characters and how they are caught in the relationship web, you don't have to be watching the show for that. Hopefully things are clear until now.

Yeah, the book is in Urdu and its disheartening that there are no good translations around.

fortunately or unfortunately this is the only place to discuss the show Hasini.. so forgive me , just wanted to talk about my total disillusionment with the show.

I watched the last episode, and seriously .. it only strengthens my opinion that the fall out between the two was simply a ploy by the author to indulge herself into making a heroine like that. Khirad is my absolute favorite no doubt bout it,. but the author should have tried to come up with a genuine misunderstanding, or should have gone completely dramatic for a sustained effect.

This characterization of Ashar is so weak, so disappointing, it feel unfair that Khirad had to suffer so much , because of someone who comes out as an arrogant fool at best.

Its not his rudeness or caustic remarks right now or anything.. I simply cannot believe how easily he believed her to be deceitful and threw her out.. or how he used to get jealous and be mean to her , for no apparent fault of hers. In fact she did everything to the contrary, stating explicitly what he meant to her.

The author made so deliberate an attempt to infuse pain ,without reason, that it only feels tiresome and annoying.

Ashar comes out as a selfish , petty man with surface depth, and how absolutely demoralizing to know Khirad will go back to him.

And this means I will read this FF for Khirad, and for your Ashar.

I apologize again.. this is not meant to deter other viewers😆., I simply had to discuss with people who watch the show and this thread is the only place for it. Thanks Hasini🤗
