The show is already a hit and there's a novel too, but am really excited to read something new, something different, yet about the same characters! I love Khirad's strong personality and that is one thing that keeps me glued to her character, even in the show. I totally admire a woman's strength, especially in such circumstances..looking forward to her story..and what the future has in store for her! :)

Please continue soon!

I missed reading a FF on them too...

Thanks Fairy for writing.

Shiz, I do not doubt the love and the strength a mother carries for a child, but then there are two extreme mothers shown in the show, where Ashar's mother vs Khirad as a mother!!!

The real question is why did khirad wait so long to approach Ashar, don't you think 4 1/2 years is a long time wait and that too not informing him that he has a daughter? If she is capable of proving to him that he is Hareem's father, she could have done the same a year later Hareem was born? If she had no plan to ever come back to Ashar why not apply for divorce, what was holding her decision on a trial?

you know i was just thinking of the contrast as well between the mothers; khirad& fareeda! :P nice you brought it up.

&she came to him due to hareem's illness otherwise she was all ready to raise her daughter on her own two feet. Until now she didn't need him which is why she didn't go to him, but as a mother she now had to think about her daughter which is the major reason for going back. In true sense i can never blame khirad, asher was shown to be a passionate husband that i sometimes hate him for not stopping two seconds to listen to what she had to say? But than i think, what is his fault? Any man would believe their mother.

And the divorce i'm not sure, there's nothing about that in the book either?

I believe I can take this too...Shiza, add your views as well.

The intention of showing up after 4.5 years is not to let Ashar know that he has a daughter, but to seek help for Hareem.
Even if she had let him know about Hareem earlier, then what?
And if he had come back to her after that, the complex that he never sought her out as his wife, but only as the mother of his child, will forever be an imprinted in her mind.

Why she never applied for a divorce, is something even I would like to know. Not sure if the book talks about this.

exactly, she came now because she needed help for her daughter! Not to tell him he has a daughter. In fact even now she pulled every string before coming to him, he was almost her last resort.

divorce, there's no mention in the book but if i may say, she probably thinks he divorced her already? Whilst he avoids her because he thinks she is asking for a divorce. i dunno :$

Well, she did reach out even during her pregnancy. But the only way she has gotten an audience is by tricking him in person...to expect her to be doing the same, when she was facing problems in her pregnancy: I think she rather stay put in one place than have to go through that trauma, when her hormones are all over.

Dissection or not, these are just views again. And I could say the same about you :)

@bold - exactly!!she didn't come back to him for acceptance, she came for her daughter. She doesn't want anything from him, except financial help for her daughter's operation. They both have reached such a point where they are mere strangers to each other, and you will see them act as such in coming episodes, you might see them together but there is nothing there, its almost like for the sake of hareem they even stand in the same room.

How could she go back during her pregnancy because during that time she had hope and faith in asher coming back that he would read her letter and rush back to her. Really it wasn't about her physical strength rather her faith on asher, her husband but during the birth of her daughter she came to a realization, that he was never going to come.

Khirad did not go to him to prove herself as his wife rather as a mother, who is reaching her breaking point.

The part where the story is currently draws me more to the soap, as I'm curious to see how they restore Ashar in Khirad's view. And this is why I want to read the book, just to enjoy the beauty of words paint a slow picture in my head, than fast moving reels that miss the nuances in how this bond will be born again from ashes...
