I doubt even Devi would agree if you say that Sooks and I are up at her level in terms of readership.

(Well, I hope Sooks doesn't mind me talking for her 😆).

I understand when you say that Sooks should be more upset than I'm, because the kind of stories she writes not only takes up time to write the update itself, but hours of research that goes into the concept itself.

But I urge you to go look at her thread as well. How many people care that she is no longer writing? Trust me I have personally known times when despite the 14 hr days, and when dinner is still simmering on the stove at 11.00 in the night, there has been a maddening rush to write and put up something on the thread.
You think she will sit back and put her feet up, if there are even < 100 readers - as you claim - asking for an update. Me being me, I'm rattling the thread, ranting around here...

NY times is over and so is Till Human voice wakes us.

We are no longer writing it. The support I'm talking about is for the current stories.

And it ain't full house on the current threads. So why put up a show for the empty chairs?

They say never say, Never...and so for now I will just go with the flow.

H, I have told you this earlier, and I will say this to you again. You are one of the more mature writers we have in IF. Everyone does not possess the maturity to read and appreciate the content that you write. For a lot of us, it takes a multiple of reads before we get the actual intended meaning that you wish(ed) to convey. That to you is an advantage and a disadvantage. Not many people may read literature the way they read a harry potter... but why compare the two even. You writing is language enriched, content enriched. Not all FF's give you things to think about. I honestly find this to be the reason for your reduced readership. But the few of us who read your stories love it to the core... makes us wanna come up with our versions of stories too... And I dont know if I can ever give any writer a bigger compliment... NY times is one of my most fav stories... U even know the number of times I have read and re-read that story. I love Chandini's rooftop, Mr Iyer and Mrs. Khurana, every one of them... I really feel like you should continue writing and atleast finish up the stories you started. I hope you do. I will continue to come in and look for your updates.
