IF and its business of comments is a black box to me. Something I have never been able to figure out why some FFs receive over the top attention and others just fizzle out with a readership of few kindred souls. Funny thing, quality ain't got nothing to do with it.

Again the indication of how well a FF is doing is the kind of discussions that persists on the thread. And how many times have authors asked for the same, to show them that there is purpose in wanting to share their stories with all of you.

Forget the part about wanting to write for the love of writing...we all do that on the side. I do it all the time. Why did you guys think I posted the Kolaveri song? Because I was writing for myself...

But the point is why share, when not appreciated.

I certainly do feel bad about not being able to share the story henceforth with the 10 readers who do care. But what to do? There is no give and take from a collective group.

Actually, if that is the case, then why not just do PM updates or even email updates out?. At least the vested folks can be covered.

Either ways, posting the story here is not going make the thread pick up any conversational mass...:(

well i understand the frustration and ur feelings...any writer wud feel frustrated when they r ot able to get a decent response...when actually they put their time, energy, research and not to forget their passion ...into writing...
