The day went well for both maan and geet and finally they reached their homes.
Maan came down and sat at the dinner table.
Maan "hai dadima"
Dadi "hi beta…"
Dev "hey bro"
Dev also joined them.
Maan "hey dev"
Dev winked at dadima who returned back.
Dev "dadi isn't the house looking dull"
Dadi "haan beta….house became dull after geet left"
Maan sat there listening to their convo silently.
Dev " haan dadi aap sahi kehrahi hai….in just few days geet became my best buddy…I m really missing her.
Just then maan phone rang and maan checked the call….its from geet….he immedialty cut the call.
Dadi "kaun hai beta?"
Maan "kuch nai dadi"
The phone again rang and its geet again…omg how can he pick up her call infront of dadi…
Dadi smiled and said "shaayad koi important client hai beta…go and talk"
Maan felt relieved and literally ran to the garden saying "ji dadi"
He went and sat on the swing and lifted her call.
"HOW DARE U CUT MY CALL…GEET HANDA'S CALL" geed shouted from other end which made maan to keep the phone away from his ear.
"geet dadi is there" maan said.
"oops sorryyy" geet replied ever so cutely which made maan smile.
"should I call later?" geet asked.
"no no I came from there….bolo" maan said.
"garden mein…." Maan said and geet immediately shouted "on swing"
"haan" maan smiled.
"how was ur day?" geet asked.
"nice geet….toda busy hai….but all went well" maan replied.
"haan it will be nice…why wont it…akhir jaane se phele geet se baat kiya na tum" geet said it proudly lifting her invisible collar.
"acha ji" maan teased her.
"haan ji " geet chuckled.
Maan smiled and asked " how was ur day in college?" maan asked.
" well….its gud to be back after so long…….but I missed so many classes….should cope up" geet said.
"hmm….do it soon…." Maan said.
"haan…." Geet sighed.
Maan is smiling and sometimes laughing at her antics.
Unknown to him from far away dadi and dev are watching him.
Dev: dadi I have never seen bro laughing this much.
Dadi "even I dev"
Dev "he is speaking with geet na"
Dadi "iseeliyeh to wo itna has rahahai……I m so happy for him"
Dev "but dadi don't u think we must do something to bing them close?"
Dadi " I don't think so dev….lets wait and watch wats happening if I feel anything going slow then we will definitely do something"
Dev: teekai dadi.
Dadi "keep in touch with geet dev….we can know wats going on in between then"
Dev: haan dadi
They both spoke for some more time and finally maan finished the call. When he came back to the living room no one was there. He silently went to his room and closed his eyes thinking about geet.
While geet on the other side finished her call and pinky entered their room saying "hogaya talking to ur prince?"
"hmm hogaya" geet said.
"so madam can I have ur appointment plz" pinky asked in dramatic way.
"pinky stop that…baath kya hai" geet asked.
"geet I had an awesome news for u" pinky jumped excitedly and sat on the bed beside geet.
"what?" geet asked.
"geet u asked for job na…" pinky said and geet jumped in excitement nodding her head and saying "haan haan"
"wo mere office me ek post keliyeh interviews horaha hai" pinky said.
"wow pinky then I want to apply what else I want more that working with u" geet said.
"haan haan pata hai…that's why I gave the application behalf of u and tomorrow is ur interview…keep leave for ur college for tomorrow okay" pinky said.
"okay okay….waise pinky what job? Is it part time?" geet asked.
"geet its not a job of ur degree" pinky said dully.
"pinky it doesn't matter for few months yaar…tell me na" geet said.
"geet it's a secretary post for our boss…and its not part time…but u must try to convince them for making it part time" pinky said.
"wow that's sounds cool….i will do it" geet jumped excitedly.
"ab soja…warna u will get up late….and I cant stay here the whole day waking u up" pinky said and they both drifted to sleep.
